In one word: Unscrupulous ... our family was torn asunder by this so-called quality care community self-fulfilling agency. Oh yes, the emotional feelings were very high. And this company seized upon the opportunity to offer our family inadequate services with unwavering stealth appeal without remorse. The owner, case managers, scheduler, and caregivers didn't care about us. We hired them for Respite Care. In return, we received a nightmare experience for the ages. This agency has no morals. They robbed us of our dignity and integrity as loving/caring/respectful human beings. They didn't return the same for the needs of a bedridden 90 y/o mother. They neglected and trounced upon her needs for their unwavering self-aggrandizement. They took the money and tried to get away with it. They violated almost every term in the contractual agreement. They didn't find a replacement for the caregiver that abandoned their shift. They left the client unattended and under their own recognizance. They will reap what they sowed.

From the very beginning, Tommy Anderson took time to get to know us and our unique needs due to a traumatic and disabling illness of our young adult child. We used the services for about two months with one interruption due to a return to the hospital. We had two primary sitters, one before the hospitalization and one afterwards. Not only did both sitters work hard to connect with our child, they also used 'down' time during naps and home health visits to do light housekeeping. We almost never had to worry about laundry or cleaning related to our child's care. I would highly recommend Home Care Assistance (Huntsville) to anyone who has care needs. If our circumstances change, we won't hesitate to call them again!

We desperately needed full-time care for our elderly Father, who was in failing health and isolated in a Senior living community during COVID times and the Holidays. We stumbled on Home Care Assistance by mistake actually, but it turned out to be an unbelievable blessing for our family. Tommy, Gleria and their staff of trained and compassionate caregivers were prompt, attentive and caring. They were with us every step of the way, going above and beyond despite a couple of false starts. What a relief to have such wonderful, competent and caring people ‘on our team. Our Mother was suffering with Alzheimers, had a fall at home, a subsequent hospital admission, and after a week in rehab, she was discharged home. A few days later she was diagnosed with COVID. The home care givers that we had previously contracted with then pulled out leaving Mom alone with the nearest child six hours drive away.Thats when Tommy and Gloria stepped in for our family. Been working here on and off for almost a year now. The Andersons give the true definition of southern hospitality. On maternity leave and they still reach out to make sure their caregivers are well taken care of and go above and beyond for their clients. I disagree, The Andersons appreciate their clients and take care of their clients. They go above and beyond what needs to be done for NOT ONLY THEIR CLIENTS BUT THEIR CAREGIVERS! You can always have a personal opinion about someone that is your right BUT speaking negatively upon the business is the wrong way to go. Im the staff manager here and I know the full situation and you wanted the company to come and get you and take you to your shift and once we had someone to come and get you, you ignored our calls. So please respect the fact that the company did what you asked even though that is not in our policy but we did it out the kindness of our hearts. Both of the owners are 2 loving people who care just as much as we do.
