Jenifer Gulley was exceptional at her job with providing us with timely information and assistance in making our decision. It is quite evident that Jenifer cares about placing people where they need to be; she firmly believes that Brookdale is a top notch place, but she recognizes that each family has a unique situation where Brookdale might not be a feasible option. She supports the family before trying to make a sale, and because of that, she earned my family's trust and respect. While my brother and I chose not to move our parents from Pennsylvania to Huntsville, we were impressed with the facilities, and more importantly, the level of conscientious and knowledgeable care that is given at Brookdale Hampton Cove. If the timing had been right to move my folks long distance, Brookdale would have been the place we would have chosen.

I have been to visit this community and was highly impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. The residents seemed to be cared for and happy. In my tour I was able to see different rooms and other places in the building. Every place was clean and well-maintained. The administration team was welcoming and very professional. I would recommend this community for long-term care of a loved one.

Amazing staff and a great place to work. I have been working there for only a few months but I love my job. Everyone works together as a team but we all act more like one big family. Also if your looking for a place for your loved one this is the place. We always put the residents care before anything and we treat them like they are a part of our family.

Director/Administrator LaShawna Springer is so devoted and passionate about her role and the care of the residents and staff. She is always very welcoming and warm. I would trust her and her staff with the care of my mom and dad any day.

Recently transferred to the Hampton Cove facility and I'm very happy I did. Staff are very nice and great to work with, they have made me feel very welcome. Great place to work and a great Executive Director. Already feel a part of the family!

Where do I start. We have an amazing Director ( Lashawna Springer). She make sure the residents needs are top priority. When we, the employer's come to talk to here she always listen to what we have to say concerning the residents, and give feedback. Because of her, I enjoy and love working here. There is so much team work, love and compassion here for the residents. Thank You, Mrs Springer.

My father lived at Brookdale Hampton Cove for almost 2 years. At age 100+, he died 12-3-20. It is almost impossible to describe the wonderful care he received there. In my life I have never encountered such loving, caring, competent caretakers. They really loved and spoiled my father. Not only him, but they spoiled us, the family, as well. Jenifer arranged family support services every month when possible, and I received so much help and understanding of my fathers dementia. Brookdale became our family. I visited almost everyday until COVID made it impossible to visit. Still I was able to keep in touch with updates on my father. We never could have given him such an enriching life if he had continued to live with family. There was entertainment, celebrations, music, games, visiting animal fairs, excursions for ice cream, excursions just to go ride around or go to a festival...on and on. My father LOVED it there and LOVED the caretakers. He LOVED walking around the courtyard and sitting in the garden. It was a lovely, lovely experience for all of us.

Brookdale Hampton Cove has been wonderful. My Mom arrived on 1 June 2020 and the staff has gone above and beyond. In August, we were allowed to have a 80th Birthday party for my Mom with the family staying in the foyer and the staff bringing my Mom to the Front Door and sat up a table for her to sit at and open her gifts and we got to watch her enjoy her ice cream Birthday cake. We were also allowed so celebrate her 63rd Wedding Anniversary. Again the family stayed in the foyer while the staff brought my Mom to the door and we got to watch her enjoy her ice cream treat. During this entire COVID process, the staff has been very helpful and informative. The family is encouraged to call anytime to check on their loved ones. If you call and ask a question, you will get an answer. All of the staff members have been warm and friendly. They understand the difficulty of having to leave your loved one. While visits are not allowed at this time, the staff has stepped up to make sure the Brookdale Community had a Wonderful Holiday and relayed all of our love to our loved ones. While the experience of not being able to see our Mom has been difficult, it has been made much easier by the wonderful Brookdale Staff.

My mom has been at Brookdale Hampton Cove for a year now and overall we have been very happy with the facility and care she has received. They have done an excellent job in managing all the difficulties associated with COVID-19. The staff is caring. Jennifer G. and Lashawna S. are exceptional.

Brookdale has been a wonderful place for my mother. I am very happy with the care and compassion that was given to mom. The workers there do a great job and Im sure it can be difficult at times. I highly recommend Brookdale to anyone who has a loved one who needs care. Dementia is a terrible disease and it can be very hard at times. Thank you again for taking such great care of mom.

Im not sure about the woman who left a one star review for Clare bridge; I think she was on the wrong FB page. All I can say about the Brookdale in Hampton Cove is that they take very good care of my mother. The staff goes above and beyond what is often a very difficult job with true compassion and professionalism. I can think of no other place that could be better for her situation and level of Alzheimers. 5 Stars.

I cant say enough about the caring staff at Brookdale. They were kind and compassionate throughout my mothers stay. Especially at her end of life, they worked with the hospice nurses to keep her comfortable in her last days on this earth. No one wants to place their loved one in a facility but it you must, the is the one to choose.
