My brother was a resident and was hospitalized due to illness. The administrator came to the hospital and said he could come back to the facility. I paid the monthly fee then received a call saying he couldn’t come back. I requested a refund but was told we did not get his stuff out of the room which was not true. I went and got his stuff as soon as they told me he couldn’t come back. I couldn’t hardly get to his stuff because they were using his room for storage for a bunch of ither stuff. I wish I had taken pictures.

The nurses are so nice to the people living there. They take great care of them.

Mom was very happy there and enjoyed the independence she needed along with the gentle care of the staff. All of the staff were caring and professional. Mom lived there until her declining health issues were overwhelming. We had great peace of mind knowing she was happy in a safe and caring facility.

Belmont will always be near and dear to my heart. The employees and residents have a family bond not found in other places. The renovations accomplished by John and Sherry White are amazing. It is truly a must see to believe place to live.

I’d recommend this place specifically because of Crystal. She’s an angel and was there for me when I was struggling to find a good, safe, affordable, friendly place for my ailing mother. Miss Anita took her right in, and they all tended to her needs for me. They treat them like family. But your aging parent is going to complain, so don’t be alarmed. It’s hard to feel truly good about any place you put them in, it broke my heart every day. But we could not have mom live in our home, as it was not set up well for that. Mom only lived there three months and then she passed away, but it was handled very professionally. I was my mother’s only child and only area relative so I went there regularly to visit and check on her. But the thing that bothered and really hurt me was that after she died, no one there, and there was a lot of staff that tended to her, sent me a condolence card or called me, except for Crystal, Bless her heart. AND 2 days before she died she had me give all the staff candy for Christmas. I felt like the warmth and friendliness was ONLY as good as them getting their monthly paycheck, even though mom died with several days left on a paid full month of rent. Very disturbing.
