Kauhale is such a lovely place with the most wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. They have many activities each week that are so much fun for the members. We are so happy and fortunate that our family member is there!

My brother was in the hospital then. Transferred to a nursing facility. We thought this was going to be a great place for him to get rehabilitation. So his time was up due to insurance. His daughter searched many places for him to go at this point. She found Kauhale and our prayers were answered. This was a great fit for him. So encouraging others if they are looking for a place for a loved one ,check it out so glad she did . My brother is thriving and everyone is beyond helpful to him and our family and friends.

Kauhale Heritage Woods assistant living and memory care on Hillcrest Road in Mobile, AL is a beautiful facility. My sibling has been a resident since August and is very comfortable. He’s well taken care of by the staff, physical and speech therapists as well as the nurses. If you are looking for a welcoming community for your loved one, try Kauhale!

As a home health/hospice representative, I spend a lot of time in Assisted Living Facilities in the Mobile and Baldwin County area. I can honestly say that the staff here is the kindest and most attentive that I’ve seen and they are wholeheartedly committed to the happiness of their residents. The vibe here is just different and it is reflected in everything from the clinical to the custodial teams. When searching for a community that will respect the dignity and wellbeing of your loved ones…you cannot do better!

Staff is nice enough but that place smells so bad. The carpet smells like it's been soaked in urine clear back to the 80's. As much as you pay for rent I would at least expect the carpets to be shampooed instead of just vacuumed. The food is so so. I couldn't get past the smell to eat. 3 out of 5. It's nothing special but also not the worst.
