My mother has been a resident of Haven Memory Care for 6 months. It was an adjustment for her. The staff at Haven have given her amazing care. She is thriving and has developed friendships with other residents, too. The nurses and all the staff work with each resident and family members, meeting them where they are to support the transition and ongoing care of my mother. They have weekly activities and holiday activities and outings that encourage socialization and mental stimulation. Having their support during this time in her life has made all of our lives easier to manage and I will never be able to thank them enough. I would highly recommend Haven Memory Care.

I recently moved my step-mother from Haven Memory Care center to an assisted living facility in AL. I live in Chicago and she has no family members in AL. Without the care and compassion she received from the staff at Haven, she would have never been able to progress enough to move into assisted living. The staff kept me and my family updated with her progress and they were always there to address our questions and concerns. We were very lucky to find Haven Memory Care center, since we aren't familiar with the area we had to rely on recommendations. Haven came highly recommended and proved to live up to all of the recommendations. I can't say enough good things about the Haven, such a blessing to know that your loved ones are being cared for at this level. Thank You - Haven Memory Care Team!!!!

The Haven is an amazing memory care facility. The staff are so caring and compassionate. The activities and outings are wonderful and keep the residents engaged. You will not find a cleaner facility in our area. My mother in law was very resistant to leaving her home and they made the transition smoothly for her. She is so much happier since moving in. If you need placement for a family member, go tour The Haven.

I can't say enough about the Haven! Taylor, Shane, & Robin have gone above and beyond to make us all feel welcome! They came along side us and made an extremely difficult situation so much better. We know mom is safe, secure and happier than we have seen in a long time. The staff really cares about the residents and considers them family. You can tell they work well together and love what they do! That is very hard to find! This has been the smoothest transition we have had and Mom is loving her new home and her new friends! The staff at The Haven is world class. From housekeeping to administration, the nurses and everybody in between - everyone has been so wonderful giving a personal touch to make my parents feel welcome, cared for and loved. My father has been here at Haven for about a month. I have been impressed with the staff, who all seem caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. Everyone always seems busy: cleaning, talking to the residents, setting up for a meal, etc. The only thing I have noticed is that the food is sometimes not up to par. I know it's hard to feed a large group and have everyone satisfied, but I have witnessed some of them struggling to eat or just not eating.

We had a wonderful experience working with the facility and staff at Haven Memory Care. Our caregiver had worked with clients in several memory care facilities but highly recommend The Haven. We were not at all disappointed. The meals were excellent and the facility was always clean. I can recommend the Haven without any reservations at all.

My mother is treated with kindness and respect at The Haven. Adjusting to a new place is difficult for most elderly, but the staff eased this transition, and Mom is happy. I feel she is getting the level of care she needs and which I am no longer able to give her. She loves having her own private "apartment". We stop in often, and we have very few complaints.

Our friends moved to Haven Memory Care a couple months ago. They are thriving - they are eating enjoyable and healthy meals regularly, getting their medications each day in a timely manner. The Haven is a wonderful place for my mom. From the beginning they have done a wonderful job of welcoming and acclimating my mom to her new home. They are constantly monitoring my mom and making sure she stays engaged. They are always welcoming to any family member. The Facebook page is the best because when I am traveling for work I can see the activities and my mom smiling and enjoying her surroundings. We appreciate everything the staff does to make her days happy and fulfilling.

This place is awesome! Staff is very caring and wonderful. I visit this facility almost daily. I read the check-in log. Very few visit their loved ones. So I wonder just how knowledgeable some of the past reviews are? I've become sort of an expert on senior care facilities, not how I invisioned my life. But if you love your family member, I'd high recommend the haven. The building might not be new, but the staff goes above and beyond! The residents love the staff. What more is there to say? My family is so thankful to everyone at the haven who helps take care of mom. It means so much! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This place went down hill after the new director and manager took over. The staff is rude and the people working in the back are unkind to residents. They allowed a resident to harass my mom and staff never stepped in to solve the problem. The room was filthy. Her clothes came up missing a lot. I could go on and on. Their response said someone would contact me. It has been 2 weeks nobody has contacted me.

This place is amazing and the treatment for my mother has been 10 stars! We were at another place in Gulf Shores that had a 5 star facility but the care was 1 star.

My mom came from a high end memory care in Destin FL. I can assure everyone that since my moms arrival here she has been taken care of so much better. The staff here obviously care about the residents. I would have no problem giving it a bad review but honestly this place is well run with tremendous nurses and aides who care for the residents. My mom gets help with all her needs and even looks physically so much better. This place is great.

My mom's room was filthy. No soap in the dispenser no paper towels in the holder no toilet paper. The new management is rude, and they don't know their job. When we first moved in the place it was nice, then they changed management. They put a tv in her room that I had a hard time using the controller, so she had no tv. They wouldn't bring her something to drink at night. They charged me for meals brought to her room.

My husband and I moved to the Gulf Shores area in November. I visited a couple of Memory Care facilities for my mom. When I first saw The Haven only had a 3 star reviews I wasn't sure I wanted to even tour it. I am so very glad I changed my mind! It is completely under new management. The whole facility is very clean with large rooms. The menu always has good food. Activities are great. They are always doing something fun. My mom is thriving there. Her grooming is so much better than where she was previously. There is always a nurse on duty and she is assigned a specific aide for the day. It is so nice to walk in and see the same faces. They pay their employees well to retain them. The facility is not so huge that my mom would feel lost there, unlike one I toured. I am so happy with The Haven and feel comfortable with my mom being there. I feel like she is well taken care of and it gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend The Haven! So glad I checked it out instead of just ruling it out because of reviews from previous management.

Our church LADIES group went today and spent 4 hour with a group of 15 residents. We sat around 6 long tables and helped them make beaded bracelets for themselves or for gifts. We used large hole beads and coiled wire. Each resident had help when needed and lots of laughs. What a good afternoon. They had a feeling of accomplishment and lots of hugs and smiles. We have decided, 2 return every 2 weeks for a repeat.
