From the first time my mother and I walked in and meet Lindsey to the move in when we met Mary we had excellent service. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Its like they all care and want to work there. Then to top it off the menu looks like it is from a high end restaurant with lots to choose from. Thank you all for taking care of my mothers needs : )

I visited with a sweet lady at Danberry recently and was happy to hear how excited she was in her new home. She could not stop talking about how welcomed she felt there and how the staff was so attentive to everyone. Good food is always important and she said the food is excellent. There are always many residents out and about enjoying the amenities that Danberry offers. Every time I am there people are always friendly, the staff and residents alike. Melissa Tabor and all of the wonderful staff are so helpful when new residents move in, being sure that they are settled in smoothly and ready to start enjoying their new home.

Some very good friends of mine live there in independent living. They pay around $7,000/month and are supposed to get weekly cleaning. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. But when they do, it's rarely the same person, then they don't clean very well. Last week the bathroom counter was NOT cleaned at all. She was only there 30 minutes, so how could she? I helped my elderly friend by dusting, yuk it was so dusty and they have requested blinds to be repaired OVER a year ago and are told they have been ordered twice! Now somebody could just go to Home Depot, 1 mile away, but I guess because they are Elderly, they are ignored. I know they must be short on help as it took them 2 hours to get their food and eat in the Bistro and one of the management team was helping, but for $7,000/month they shouldn't have to hire outside help to dust and clean bathrooms.

Danberry at Inverness is beyond wonderful! After looking at every place in and around Birmingham, my mother-in-law decided to move into Danberry at Inverness. I cannot say enough about the whole experience thus far. From our first visit, to making the decision, moving out of her out of state home, and moving in, there was help with everything along the way. They even gave us a reference for a moving company, which turned out to be beyond wonderful. Lindsey and Melissa at Danberry could not have made things any easier; they thought of everything to help make my MIL's transition as seamless and comfortable as possible. The residents at Danberry are friendly and outgoing and made my MIL feel welcome and included from her first day. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The activities are varied and there is something for everyone. I just can't say enough great things and I am so pleased to see my MIL happy and adjusting while being surrounded by her new friends and the wonderful, caring, and friendly staff at Danberry. And again I can't thank Melissa (move in coordinator), Lindsey (sales consultant), and Olu (security who came and did tech help for us over the weekend) for going above and beyond and always with a smile on their face.

We moved to Danberry 2 months ago. The staff, administration and residents have made us feel at home. With there many activities and classes, swimming pool and many other opportunities, residents can't be bored. My mother moved into the Memory Care Unit at Danberry in June. The experience was wonderful. We had the opportunity to move her belongings into her room several days before her actual move in day so when mom arrived her room was full of furniture and memorabilia that made her immediately comfortable and secure. The staff has worked hard to make her feel welcomed and a part of the memory care community. The facilities are beautifully maintained. My sister and I are so pleased we made the Danberry choice. Nothing is more important than making sure mom is happy and safe.

For the past year, I've been working with Lindsey Granberry to get my mom a new home at Danberry of Inverness. We have talked many times and she has set up an evaluation which my mom did well with.. We've toured the facilities and met a number of the staff. It's such a nice place and I had high hopes that my mom could find her new home there. This week, Lindsey set up a second evaluation for the memory care as my mom has declined. Unfortunately for mom, my siblings can't agree on the next right step for her and want to continue down the path of caring for her at home which isn't practical at this point nor financially wise. I'm very disappointed in this decision, but I'm grateful for Lindsey and for all she has done to get my mom the help she deserves. I'm still hoping my siblings will come to an agreement that's in my moms best interest. Thank you Lindsey for all you've done to help my mom.

My grandfather moved here just over a month ago. They have been incredibly straight forward and helpful in every way possible. All the employees are are kind and seem genuinely happy to be there. My mother has been a resident for the past 7 months. The facility is beautiful with on-site restaurants, exercise room, pool, gathering spaces, an outdoor walking path, and covered porticos for easy drop off and pick up. The activity coordinator and staff provide exercise classes, games and activities, art classes, and movies, Bible studies, and special programs that mom loves. There are onsite nurses, a health clinic, and transportation is available to local doctors and shopping. When I pick her up to take her to the doctor, they have a list of her current medication's which they dispense daily and if I'm taking her home with me or on vacation, they have her medication packed in daily labeled pouches! Wow! They do a beautiful job with her laundry and with cleaning her apartment and keeping it nice and tidy for her so that she can do as much or as little as she chooses. The other residents there are amazing... So kind, thoughtful, joyful and inclusive. It is a happy place! But my favorite thing is how well the staff loves and cares for my mom! From the administration, to the restaurant staff, to the activities coordinator, to the nurses... These people are the best! I rest easily knowing that she is happy, healthy, and very well cared for!

Our experience with Danberry has been great since our very first visit/tour. Lindsey was our first impression of Danberry and is a great representative for Danberry. She is always pleasant, informative and caring. She answered all our questions and kept us updated as to availability, etc. Once an apartment was available, Chandy became our point of contact. She coordinated/managed the entire move for my mother. Her dedication to all the residents and their family members continues even after the move. She has gone up and above numerous times and is always available 24/7 to provide assistance, guidance, resources, etc. Chandy is awesome. In addition to Lindsey and Chandy, we simply can't say enough positive things about other team members such as Phyllis, Brent, Tonia, Christine and Bryan. They have all been terrific. Many families desire to have their aging family member(s) reside at Danberry so having to wait out the process of moving up a waiting list, particularly in memory care, is not uncommon.

We moved my parents from Wyoming to Alabama. They have adjusted very well at Danberry and are enjoying meeting people and like the food. I should have made this move a number of years ago.The COVID-19 crisis has made me increasingly appreciative of the caring attitude that permeates the Danberry Staff from top to bottom. It is truly sad that the virus has impacted on our capability to enjoy the wonderful amenity package. But, that loss is greatly offset by a caring and well informed staff. Danberry has always been known as the Taj Mahal of retirement facilities in Birmingham. The amenities are world class, as is the staff. I hereby salute the Wellness Director, Brent Camp, who dropped everything in the middle of the pandemic to facilitate help for one of the residents. Even in the midst of the crisis, where staff has to meet unknown and unexpected events, they go beyond the extra mile to help their people. Even a family couldnt do more.

Danberry is a unique facility! From the marketing staff to the move-in staff and everyone in between, the staff is professional, warm and friendly. They truly care about your loved one that needs their services. Even with the pandemic, the care is quite evident while making as many provisions as possible for both the resident and their family members. Danberrys facilty is beautiful with many amenities - all geared for the resident and their families. With the pandemic limiting some of these temporarily, they have made up for it with creative and fun activites to keep the community together. Danberry is truly a home away from home!

Both my parents and in-laws live at Danberry Independent Living, and theyve had such a good experience. All of the facilities and apartments are well kept and very nice. ( Ive had friends remark that my parents live in a country club or cruise ship.). The number one reason for our good experience, however, is by far the Danberry employees. I cant get over the number of stories they tell of individuals doing amazingly thoughtful things for the residents. From move-in to daily challenges - every staff member in dining, housekeeping, administration, the wonderful people running the salon and fitness center, the caregivers, have been so kind and genuinely caring. They make an enormous effort to know the residents well and respond to their unique needs. We are very grateful.

They offer several services and implemented new ones due to Covid to ensure residents are safe. The staff in Memory Care always looked after my Dad with dignity and respect during his stay there. My mom has been a resident of Danberry for more than two years. She started in independent living and graduated to assisted living last year. Overall, it has been an excellent experience for her and I have the high regard for the leadership and staff. They are attentive and caring and demonstrate utmost professionalism in all situations. Danberry has been wonderful for my family! The staff is professional and personable. They know their residents well. They are quick to respond to requested work orders. The facility is clean. There are many activities that residents can be a part of. My family has made many friends there as well. They are a part of the independent care residence and they are very happy to be a part of Danberry. The only complaint I have heard from them is that the dining experience needs some work. They offer several options each day, but are repeated often and the kitchen needs some help. Home cooking is hard to obtain when serving large numbers. Other than that, no issues.We have visited Danberry on other occasions and it has always been a very nice experience. They have a suite available for rent by out of town guests that we have used and it was great. My grandkids enjoyed the experience and the atmosphere at the facility.A special shout out to Chandy. She was compassionate at a difficult time for us, super helpful and is great at her job! She has been so kind and gracious to my familyI highly recommend Danberry.

My parents have enjoyed living independently at Danberry for the past seven years. They have everything they need. They have made friends with some wonderful people. The staff members are professional, friendly, helpful, and truly care about the residents. Danberry is doing an outstanding job navigating the Covid-19 quarantine. They have taken numerous precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy. We love Danberry and highly recommend it to those looking for an Assisted Living or Independent Living community that is top notch!

My 88-year old mother has been at Danberry six years. It is her home and she is surrounded by friends and the wonderful Danberry team. During this challenging COVOD-19 period, the management and staff are going above and beyond to keep residents safe, well fed, active, and entertained (did I say hallway, socially-distanced cocktail hour and Easter Bunny?). The Executive Director is outstanding. She keeps families informed via email and Zoom. I know Mama is in great hands. Thank you, Danberry!

Danberry has been a wonderful place for my mom. Chandy helped make the move from her home as simple and painless as possible. The staff cares so much for each patient and they provide so many wonderful activities for their residents. The dining room and amenities are all beautiful and well appointed. If you need a place for your mom or dad to feel safe and cared for I would highly recommend looking at Danberry . N Peeples

We had a wonderful experience with a Danberry for my mom. They were very kind, loving and supportive during the 5 years she was in Independent Living. They worked with us to accommodate her increasing disability and the needs that developed being wheelchair bound. We were blessed daily by the caregivers we used through Danberry and the staff were always available and attentive.

Where everybody knows your name. The staff makes a real effort to get to know you. Food is varied, well- prepared and there are generous portions. Facility is kept clean. Lots of activities for all ages and abilities. Lovely salt water pool. Coffee selections in the bistro are gratis.alternate food selections are always available. Hair salon and library on site. Quick response to billing,maintenance or housekeeping issues.

My mom recently moved to Danberry @ Inverness. The apartments are very nice and my mom has the independence she has always valued. The staff at Danberry have been very helpful as my mom has made the transition to her apartment. The amenities available to the residents at Danberry are amazing. I am very pleased my mom chose Danberry. I have a peace of mind knowing she is not alone and lives in a secure place.

I moved to Danberry 5 months ago. Amazing staff, good food with lots of choices, friendly residents and outstanding activity and fitness program. Love the heated saltwater pool. I looked at several retirement communities. Danberry is the best!
