My sister received excellent care at Kingston Court! The staff there were attentive, caring, and professional. Shout out to nurses Margaret, Ruthy, and Heather! Aides - Kiki and Rae were awesome! Carol in the business office and Alena in Admissions made the admission process go smoothly. I felt reassured that my sister was in a supportive place in her final days.

I greatly appreciate all of the services that I received here over the past week, particularly PT and OT. The programs were very thorough and goal oriented. I ramped up in 5 days and now I'm fully prepared to go home and practice what I learned. The food was surprisingly good and the portions were just the right size for me. The many depts. such as Social Services, admissions/discharge, were very helpful throughout my stay The best part about staying here were the people I interacted with day in and day out. I really appreciate everyone of them and the great job they did. Someday I may need to stay in an assisted care facility long term. I would choose Kingston Court. Thank you All! 🙂

I have had a very good experience after going through a knee replacement. It was my first time in a rehab facility and everyone was kind and receptive to the things I had going on medically. I had good roommate whose family was kind and gracious to me as well!

The place is dirty and smells bad. The person I visited had issues with getting help when needed. The halls should not be squares of carpet that hold bacteria. Put in laminate tiles that look like wood. Easy to keep clean and much more hygienic.

Today was my 1st experience at Kingston Court. My Mother was admitted there today. Clean and well lit inside. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Mom was comfy in bed and covered well. They were pretty busy there and Mom waited 1/2 hour for them to raise bed up, so she could drink water. The Nurse was very nice and took care of her needs quickly. I feel she was happy on her 1st day and her Nurse/Dr was very pleasant and explained things well to her, she's 90. She'll be there short term and I believe she'll be happy there.

I had great nurses during my time here and got a long with everyone. Prior to therapy I wasn't able to do anything with my left side for 11-12years and now my left side is completely functional. I had a really good experience and I actually miss it. I've made friends that I still come back to visit.

The clinical staff is very caring and attentive. The nurses specifically are very helpful. Therapy has been excellent and I like that they push my limits. The food is surprisingly good and they offer good variety. This facility has changed my perspective on nursing homes overall and I would definitely return for long term care if needed in the future!

My mom has been at Kingston Court for 4 months. First in the Med Bridge Rehab section and now in the 300 hallway. Let me give you my emphatic endorsement first and then I’ll tell you my reasons. I FULLY and WITH PLEASURE RECOMMEND KINGSTON COURT in York. I do not exaggerate, when I say that Kingston has the best employees. Every employee smiles and greets you and is ready to help. Regardless of their job position. For example if you run into someone from dietary and ask for directions to a room, 9 out of 10 times they will walk you to the room. This applies to all the employees across the board. All the employees seem to get along regardless of the department they work in. I have yet to come across , even once, a lazy person or one with a (bad) attitude or the not my job attitude. Front Desk (as you enter). The women are wonderful. They may not converse a lot (Because they have to monitor the entry and more) . But they know the residents and what’s going on in the facility and diligent about guiding you correctly. Business Office. Kind, courteous and well aware of families stress. They are streamlined with the paperwork and well informed about (financial) resources available. They do not inundate you with paperwork but let you settle your loved one first so that you develop a comfort level with the facility. Admissions. Alina is God sent. Need I say more. Nurses. Very capable. Industrious. Professional, and know about all the patients in the facility (not just in their hallway). They are diligent, and always helpful. They are acutely aware of their patients needs both medically and emotionally and work with the aides Respectfully and as a team. Go Nurses!! Aides. My favorite people!! God Sent. Mostly women ( the guys are excellent too). They are mothers, sisters, daughters and God Bless them for what they do. They treat my mom like she’s the only patient they are caring for. She’s kept clean in a timely fashion. They meet the personal and emotional needs of the patients and are familiar with patients limitations, their needs and wants. AND they hug and give their patients lots of love. I love the aids at Kingston!! They do Gods work. Dietary. Food is great!! Many menu options and good rotation of food. Kitchen staff is excellent. If you don’t like what was served to you, an alternate choice will be brought to you. Chefs salads, pot roasts, tuna/macaroni and more are some of the favorites. The dietician works diligently to personalize the menus as per your dietary restrictions (if any) and personal choice of food Housekeeping. One of my favorite departments. They keep the place clean and they do it with a smile. John, in housekeeping knows how much I like him because if the favors he has done for mom that go way beyond his job description Kingston Court Does NOT have that nursing home smell I was speaking with one of the hospice nurses that visit several nursing homes and they also told me that Kingston is one of the few places that smells clean and sanitized. Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy/Speech Therapy Diligent and Excellent. They work so hard with the patients to facilitate physical independence. Transportation. Exceptional and Caring. Activities. They are up beat, funny and full of ideas. They are so good at interacting with the patients and arranging such good entertainment for patients to look forward to. I would love to mention names of the wonderful people at Kingston but I’m afraid I ll leave someone out. In case you don’t read all of the above. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KINGSTON COURT in YORK. I have another family member at a private nursing home and as a fairly seasoned consumer, I , wholeheartedly believe that the care my mom is getting at Kingston is at par with and indeed better than at a private assisted living home, given the fact that skilled nursing patients are way more challenging. I can’t say enough about the new administrator, especially during such a challenging time. She made sure our loved ones were cared for and that staffing needs were met. Kingston Court Nursing & Rehab. was my mom's home for several years up until her recent passing. She was well taken care of by the staff & made many friendships with the residents. She shared a room with a lovely lady who became one of her many friends. She joined in & took advantage of the wonderful activities program ran by a very dedicated activities director & her staff. She loved her Kingston Court family like her own.

This is a beautiful place,very well organized, clean & waxed floor. The rooms are spacious,bright & clean. The best part is the pleasant,organized and calm staff. It was peaceful there it wasn't even like being in a skilled nursing & rehab facility. Nothing like past one's I've been in. Edit: 2 weeks into the stay unfortunately I was not happy with the stay. Brand specific medication is a real thing,unable to make good improvements due to being given generic drug that is not tolerated, numerous attempts to get it resolved including the fact that the facility has the right drug sent from hospital was in vain. It took getting a letter from primary care Dr. To get them to stop administering the generic one. Within 2 days of getting right medication was able to stand and walk some. On 3 day was placed on a stationary bike machine, that foot slipped off or machine had a loose screw, not sure exactly but end result was a tore open leg wound of significant size. I feel that is from lack of close supervision. The blood soaked sneaker and sheets were left for the night crew. A uti caused by e coli. We all know what that's from( as witnessed on many occasions in filthy underwear.) The family had to point out a uti to have the test done by time of discharge & treatment it had advanced to much and 2 day home had to be admitted to hospital for sespis. A 3 week stay resulted in still unable to walk properly,a new injury along with other things to long to mention. A brand new nightgown lost even though it was specifically told family will do the wash. A broken wheelchair caused by pinching the patient in the lift with the wheelchair attached that family had to put a note on and insist it not be used to prevent further injury. This is more like a 2 star now. The staff was very nice,but the fact that this goes on is a statement that our elderly are not treated with proper care & respect they have earned. It appears to be yet just another manufacturing facility to just get money.

So far so good my 90 yr old mother had fell and cracked her tailbone. After repair in hospital sent to Kingston for PT and OT. Always treated with respect good food and pleasant staff. Hey it is what it is no sugar coating it. All issues were dealt with immediately and they try to do as much as they can to make the patients feel better about their situations.“

My dad is very excited for physical therapy. We are hoping he can come home soon. He had laundry brought in today. We are a little disappointed with the amount of time it takes from when they collect his laundry until it is returned. He is starting to eat more of the food and seems to like it. Unfortunately, he doesn't have his full appetite back yet. Thank you for all you do.
