Since my mom passed away earlier this year we have been looking for a place for my dad to have some social interaction and mental stimulation. We recently started taking my dad here and have been so impressed! Every member of the staff that I’ve met has been so professional and treats my father with dignity and compassion. It’s clean, well organized, and has thoughtful activities. Initially my dad was hesitant about the idea but now looks forward to the hours he spends at Aspen Care Center. It’s been a blessing to be able to keep my dad in his home and still give him social interactions!

"My mother-in law is 92 with severe dementia. She has attended Aspen Senior Center for over 2 1/2 years. She thrives at the center. She is engaged in fun activities all day that help keep her brain active and her body moving. The staff is so caring and understanding. Most of all she loves going each day and it helps to give her a sense of purpose. It also gives us a most needed break from the demands of caring for her at home. We feel so grateful to have her there. If you have a loved one who could benefit from this service I highly recommend that you give them a call".

We looked at other places in Salt Lake and Utah counties. Aspen is by far the best. The principals are absolutely devoted to caring for the elderly. It rubs off on the staff.Constant activities all day. Crafts, chair dancing, singing. "Today they asked me to sing! Twice!" Parties. She always comes out smiling. Never the slightest problem. Well-maintained facility in suburb.

If you have a loved one who isn’t ready for full time care, but has needs greater than we can provide at home every day, this is the place. My 83 year old mom (with significant dementia) has been attending 3 days a week for the past few months. She loves it. It gives her things to do and people to chat with, but the biggest benefit is the break it gives us during the day. She comes home tired, but happy, and we feel like the days she goes to club, she is more content and sleeps better. The staff is kind and loving, and the variety of activities fit the needs of everyone. They adjust the activities to meet the needs of all those attending. I highly recommend.

My dad has been attending Aspen for a couple of years now. Let me just say that their care for him has been invaluable. He is happy, engaged in the activities, and he feels like his presence there is important and he is needed. More important, my mom has been able to have needed time to be herself, explore her talents, and maintain her friendships which help sustain her and help her be a better caregiver to my father. I don't know what life would look like now for my parents if Aspen were not available as a resource. Love them and love the people who love and care for my dad! They are angels!

My father has Alzheimer's. I found the Aspen Center because I needed help trying to care for him and keep my job. The caregivers at Aspen are wonderful. I didn't know, but having him attend the center made him happier all around. He came home in a better mood and he slept better at night. I hadn't realized how much he was missing social interaction in his life. Thank you!

My sisters and I very much appreciated the services that Aspen provided. It meant a lot to us to know that, when we had to go to work and could not have our mother at home with us, we could take mom to a place where she was lovingly cared for, where she could have fun, and where her needs were so well met. It made it possible for us to have our mother live in our homes where she could be surrounded by family.

We have our beautiful Mom attend Aspen Senior Center and have absolutely loved having her there, the staff is so sweet and very gentle with her. The cute artwork and projects she comes home with each day she is there is so fun to see. We really appreciate all they do to help our Mom feel loved!

My husband has suffered from progressive dementia for the last six years, becoming more withdrawn and isolated. Our family decided to try him at the senior center. From the first day, he loved it. He had people to talk to and activities to participate in. The staff was so kind and supportive and helpful to him. They communicated effectively with me and we worked together to make his experience a successful one. It has made a world of difference to him.

Aspen took care of my Grandmother a few years ago. She had Dementia / Alzheimers and it became too much for our family to handle on our own. Aspen made it a lot easier for my grandma to live at home with us. I felt peaceful knowing that during the day I could trust Aspen to help her. The staff was so friendly and caring with her, and they really helped her to be calm and happy. I actually admired what Aspen did so much I eventually got a job working there myself. I recommend Aspen to anyone who wants to keep their loved ones at home and keep theirs and their loved ones sanity. 🙂

My mother attended Aspen Senior Center. She loved the staff, they always made her feel special and loved. She especially loved the music and the delicious lunch that they served. She was very social and loved interacting with all of the other seniors.
