Thank you for finally cleaning up the overgrown weeds, bushes and vines, this hasn’t been done all year! It looks so much better! I feel like building 3 gets a little neglected in some areas. Outside landscaping, up until the trimming, has been an eyesore, IMO. The carpeting on the first floor, in particular by the elevators and doors, have so many stains it’s embarrassing when I have visitors. I know I have called when I have seen new spills, so it can be cleaned but it usually isn’t in a timely manner. These are my than yous & opinions.

I love my apartment and also being able to sit on my balcony. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and kind. They have bingo, happy hour/pot-luck, and many more activities. Just having a place with peace and quiet was all I ever wanted and this is the place. Need to add that the office staff are wonderful and there for you too.

Before anything I would like to say the office staff and other staff are very kind and helpful expect the manager! I dont live there but have been a caregiver there for a long time. My client i care for gets depressed and is visually impaired so I had brought a well behaved dog to visit her a couple times a week for 2-3 hours thats it. The animal gave her so much joy. Well the office had contacted me and told me that if I bring my dog back there they would charge my client with pet deposit and rent. Which makes no sense since my dog or I doesnt live there and she isn't there for long periods. She doesnt make a mess and if she has to potty out side I clean it up. But overall apartments are beautiful and the rest of the staff super kind sad that someone had to ruin a 80 yr old little peace because of her. It saddens me. Usually has senior centers they allow me to. But its okay my dog will be getting her service animal license. So I will be able to again soon!.

Absolute best place to live! The staff is beyond amazing. Cassie has really done a great job with managing this place, Shelby is always able to answer all my questions and does a fantastic job, Sheila does FANTASTIC at activities, Maintenance is always informative and responds quickly and are so helpful. I always tell my friends about The Gardens to try to get them to move here. I am so grateful to be here and to call this place my home.

I just want to say that I have never in my 65 years been treated so kindly as I have been by the management team here at the gardens at Northgate Village. I want to specially say something kind about Cassie and Jenny Lynn, who have gone out their way to treat me so well. To date, I can honestly say that’s the most wonderful thing that’s ever happened in my life, happened here at the Gardens of Northgate Village. On the day that I was meeting the management team to go over my application for residency, I had to Park about a block away from the office, As I was walking to the office doors, Cassie was going inside and we saw each other, but to my amazement as I got to the office door, she was standing there holding the door open for me. She had actually recognized me from that far away and waited for me so I could enter with her Through the security doors. I was absolutely in AWE, That a member of the management team Remembered me after I’ve only been here a couple times and showed me that kind of love and respect and kindness. I can’t speak for nobody else, but for me, Cassie’s actions spoke Volumes about the management team here at The Gardens At Northgate Village. I can’t think of any other place in this world that I’d rather rest my head. I Also want to give thanks to Jenny Lynn for her support and encouragement And helping me get my application, filled out and becoming a new residence here at the gardens at Northgate Village!! I have lived in NKC for 5 years now at The Gardens. The people here are like my family. With being a gated community, I always feel safe and with being a non-smoker, am happy it is a non-smoking facility. The grounds are exceptionally manicured. Hello, my name is Steve Lunn Just signed my lease renewal 3000 swift apt 366. One reason I renewed was the management's change. Months ago we had a Manger but Not one that had a cohesive team leader like Ms. COLLEY. PROPERTY WELL Maintained Staff well Qualified and friendly. Activities plentiful thanks to Sheila. Thanks to all involved in making this a life style change not an out to PASTURE life. Update 9 16 2025 Management and Staff Updates undertaking. New outside benches Outside concrete patches Parking asphalt renewal Indoors new sofas in 1st floor common area New furniture in 1st floor client area Coffee and Tea in this area. I am sure I have left out something Plenty of activities and open to suggestions. None to bold but some funny.

I moved hear in oct of 2018 and i feel like i have finally found a place i will be for a long time too. I went to NKC High and i am glad to beback home. It is a nice place that is sizable.walking into kitchen /great room. It is set up how you can be having guests over and have room for all.there is a balcony . Whichhas a small closet/storage space for most apts. We play with puzzles in the library. We also have times togethet like bingo 2 x weekand coffee hour on monday mornings.

3000 Swift St. The west elevator was broken and had been all week.This made moving horrible so many extra steps for the movers. It took 2 hours longer than it should and cost me $200 extra. I asked for permission to use the front door since the elevator was broken. I was told residents could no longer use the front door to move furniture. I do love it here, but this was an unnecessary burden put on me.

The activity director plans, along with suggestions from the residents, entertaining, fun, and helpful activities each month. I like it that the staff keeps us informed through emails and texts. The staff is great! The maintenance crew keeps the yards and areas neat and clean. Residents are friendly. I love living at The Gardens! My compliant is the parking...it is very difficult for those of us using walkers and canes.

Everyone is so nice. We have fun games ,with prizes! I have won $25. Gift certificates, which was fun. They always take good care of the gardens. The fountain is lovely. I love my apartment. I am blessed to oversee the courtyard from the second floor. It is beautiful. I love my space on the balcony as well. I have four garden boxes, full of flowers. Chairs and a table to enjoy the space. Everyone looks out for one another. That is special. The management is great. They work hard to keep everything going smoothly and take care of things quickly, if there is a problem. Love that! My home. I loved it Now because of health problems I moved to West Coast to be near my daughter. Not a happy camper because I really loved living in KC. I miss my congregation and all my brothers and sisters. We had quite a thing going there. Now I'm 85. Don't get around like I use to. The distance to drive is unbelievable. The traffic is terrible. And these people never learned to drive properly. So my daughter or son-in-law take me everywhere I need to go. It's just sad.

This building I live in is suppose to be for seniors and due to lack of caring about our disabled people who need elevators and doors that need to work I cannot recommend this complex. One door has been out for entrance for about 6 months now the office has been notified several times and they just keep making promises and no action. Our elevators went down last night because the fire alarm went off and maintenance has been notified at least twice by different people. The excuse I get is "We are not a care facility and do not consider this an emergency". People that live on the upper floors that are disabled and now cannot leave the building. Do not recommend this building for anyone with a disability that required help walking around.!

My great aunt lived here for 11 years before she moved into assisted living. This is one of the nicest facilities in terms of both amenities and the community. The game nights and celebrations are a hoot for the guests, and everybody checks on one another and is extremely friendly. The staff are very helpful, and the building security is both easy to understand and tough to get through. I absolutely love everything about it.
