Drs choice assisted living has some great nurses, mainly males. They are really nice. The problem is the food . You would think whoever makes decisions on the food for these patients would realize they are old , more than likely have very little teeth, have diabetes or heart issues & spend most their time in bed. So why would their meals be hot dogs, Mac n cheese & chile? Sometimes veggies that include broccoli & cabbage which are known to cause gas. They are not teenagers & can't eat that way, it hurts them. The meals should be chosen with all this in mind. I realize the junk is cheaper but they deserve better. a good meal brings them nourishment & happiness. Sometimes they have a great meal & it makes them feel better. They should have this more often. How would you want to eat if it was you laying there ?
