Aspire is a hidden gem in the Richmond area. My mom has really acclimated there, has met many residents she enjoys doing things with, and the activities offered are wonderful. The management is amazing, they pitch in to help if there is a short staffing issue, they communicate with the family if there are any issues or problems and they are easy to access if I need to speak with them. The transportation available to her to go to appointments outside the facility is reliable and available if she needs it. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean, safe and active place for their older parents. My mom loves it there!

So pleased to have chosen Aspire at West End for my home. Love my apartment, the staff, and all the activities offered to residents. The location is perfect for near by shopping and other places to explore. As an Independent Senior Living choice, I can live my daily life as I chose in a safe secure environment.

This is a very secure, happy place, lots of acdtivities. There is only one problem, you wish you have more hours during the day to be able to participate in every activity. The food, the camaderie, the staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Is the best place to be.

Meghan Wade the Community Relations Director has been an absolute pleasure to work with at Aspire. She is always available, (even on days when she is not at the office) and responds very quickly. You can see immediately how all the residents appreciate her as you walk the campus with her she chats with everyone and knows all by first name. Her ability to balence all of the current requests for internal moves while assisting those like my mom who are in the process of moving into Aspire was unmatched compared to other places we were considering. She was very positive and supportive with my mother’s questions, concerns and indecisions. She truly understands the level of uncertainty that comes with this big change for anyone at an advanced age. She continued to keep looking for the perfect solution for us time and time again. In the end, we would not have decided to move my mom to Aspire had it not been for Meghan’s unwavering commitment, attention and patience. Thank you Meghan! As far as the community goes it is such a beautiful property with every detail considered and made available regarding what is best for the residents. Items such as; activities, dining experiences, provided transportation and on-site facilities are just a FEW that make Aspire stand alone. I am so glad we found my mom Aspire. She has made many friends, residents and staff included. I am happy she is finally taking some of the water classes. They offer several things and have a great movie club. Many on the staff are like family, too:)

The restaurant staff is terrible. We waited almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged. When we got our food the entrees came out before salads. Then the staff decided to bring out the salads, entrees, & desert at the same time. Sherry the executive director is an asset to this community. Sherry and Alexis were terrific.

My husband and I live here. He is wheelchair bound, and I have to hire help for 7 hours daily. The apartment is large and airy. I like having a full kitchen and washer in the unit. All appliances work well except for the stove oven which overheats. The staff are cheerful, polite, and helpful. The food is good and varied but expensive. The dinner hour needs to be extended. The activities are good and varied. Generally, we like living here.

My mother has enjoyed living at Aspire. She has a beautiful apartment, and receives restaurant quality dining. There are daily opportunities to exercise, which she participates in. She enjoys the outings including trips to the theatre, shopping, and frequent outings to local sites. The transportation provided to her doctor's appointments help her feel independent since she does not drive. In addition the staff is very attentive and caring. I can not say enough about what a great experience her time at Aspire has been!

I moved in September 2022 and love it. The residents are very friendly, the staff is always helpful, LOTS of activities, and the food is very good. I have their smallest size apartment, the Grove, and it is the perfect size for me and my dog, Carson. My closet is huge and I have plenty of storage space for clothing, crafts, and holiday decor. The outdoor courtyards are great places to walk or sit and chat with friends. Carson gives it "two paws up!"

The staff make my mom feel special. The facility is clean and well kept. The apartments and facility are modern and accommodate walkers and scooters. The food is awesome, I enjoy the Sunday brunch with my mom. Overall a great place for mom.and dad!

Mom and Dad moved into Aspire West end from their home of decades in Charlotte, NC. I am most grateful for them keeping Mom and Dad safe through the pandemic as they ramp up.
