I was a CNA for Friday sat and Sunday here I did doubles and a day shift and loved it here I have only put my notice in due to relocating. Let me start out with saying that most the staff is so amazing I'd let them care for myself or my family in a heart beat. The staff pay attention to details. The nurses dj, Tonya, Rosie, Brian, Ned and a few others are absolutely wonderful the med aid Jen is one of the best she is so patient and so understanding ensures meds are ordered and cares so much. The CNAs while they make mistakes they own there mistakes and try to fix them. We try our best. I will say there could be some benefit to a receptionist because the nurses are busy doing care and charting it can be hard for them to get the the phone. The management is amazing and I have loved working here so much. If I move back I will re apply the second I'm back. Please give this place a shot its amazing so full of love and one of the best healthcare crews I've ever been apart of.

I have had the necessity to stay in a Skilled Nursing Facility. In the last 2 years, I have stayed in 4 different places. My experience at Avemere Clackamas has been wonderful. The Staff (Admin, RN, CNA, CMA, Activity Dir, Dietitian, Kitchen Manager, Therapist ) all have been very nice and attentive to my needs. One of the Med Techs (CMA) Crystal, does everything in her power to show kindness, respect, and empathy. The kitchen Manager (Betty) has come to me periodically to make sure that my food needs are being met completely (and I have quite the list of needs). The other difference between this location and the other facilities is the quality of the food. Other places were bland and cold. This location has the best food overall. Chris is one of the Chefs... and he really knows what he's doing. I haven't loved everything, but that's just a preference thing, and I have enjoyed prox 95%. The chefs here know how to season your food. The Activity Dir (Chelsea) has fun things planned daily, and she doesn't just leave it up to you to check out what to do, Chelsea goes around and reminds all residents and helps them get to the adventures location. I could go on singing their praises, but suffices to say ... I highly recommend Avamere Clackamas. Thank you for reading this whole review. And thank you to everyone who works here for always treating us all with compassion and dignity.

Mom had to be in rehab for her back earlier this year, and she felt that everyone went out of their way to help her heal. All of the staff and PT had great bedside manner, and clearly showed that they cared for the patients with their actions.

Staff are respectful and treat residents like family. They have a lot of patience and compassion. They go above and beyond to make residents comfortable and happy. They are hard workers. Bless them all. My mom was a feisty Chicago woman. She was not the easiest person to deal with. But they "got her". They understood there was a kind soul under that tough exterior. That meant the world to her family that they saw what we saw in our beautiful mom.

My Mom has been living at Clackamas Avamere since 2109. Before COVID my Dad and I would visit her almost every day. COVID makes it harder for everyone but we are very happy with the care my Mom receives. She likes the food, her medications are managed by the medical staff and she can periodically participate in group games or activities. She's not able to get out of bed or use her wheelchair on her own but the staff at Avamere treat my Mom like she is family. We are amazed at how well the staff is able to cope with COVID restrictions and take care of my Mom's needs. Submitted by Sarah Kauffman Thank you Avamere!! Did not receive my meds as prescribed by my doctor.had to endure hours of pain. Food questionable. Majority of employees great. Would never come here again. Building old windows leak cool air.trim cracking. The cost is way too high as the quality is not reflected in it.

We had to have our mom at a rehab facility after surgery back in April for a few months. Since the rehabs closer to us where full, this Avamere was recommended and we couldn't be happier with the care that was provided to her during her stay. Crystal Gage ,the director of social services, was an amazing person who kept us informed about everything our mother needed and was going through during the difficult time with pandemic. She made it easier for our family with all the help she provided. In addition, Andrea one of the physical therapists, worked tirelessly to help our mom regain some of her mobility back. Even though we never got to go inside because of covid, we could tell that everyone who works at the facility really cares for the patients and they go above and beyond to help them and their families.

I have known about this facility for many years, unfortunatly we had to put a family member in here earlier this year for about a month after a fall and a pretty bad bone break. I must say everyone that i spoke with about my dads condition was pleasant, although due to the coronavirus I was never able to go inside. only go to the window and wave or talk on the phone. i really don't think its a bad place to go to if you need therapy or have suffered an injury and cannot go straight from home after being in the hospital. I really think the nurses and the physical therapists care. Why am I giving only 4 stars and not 5? I really think they should have more help at nightime. BUT i hear that's the case at most Nursing homes.
