Hello, my name is Mark & I've been a resident of the Alameda Center since 12/17/20. I remember this day because it was the day my life changed for the better (much better). I came from a place of unspeakable cruelty to a place where I got back my will to live again. I love my life at Alameda. The staff are not only paragons of professionalism, but they all seem to really care and that goes from the housekeeping & maintenance departments all the way up to the administrative staff (shout out to Chad Giampino (the chief administrator) Mordy Jurkorwitz (the assistant director) Donna Mahedeo (director of nursing) & Michael Rivera (assistant director of social work). This facility is immaculately clean. Norma (my housekeeping staff member) sweeps, wipes down & mops my room every day (with out fail). The food is excellent here. The variety is outstanding & the portions are quite adequate and if you do want more all you have to do is ask & the kitchen will send up another tray (or anything else that is available that day). I am so very grateful to the owners and of course to this really top-notch staff. May God bless you all & keep you as safe as I feel here. Sincerely, Mark D. Writz

I cannot thank the staff at alameda enough for the amazing care they provided to my brother during his stay there. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the medical staff is top-notch, with doctors and nurses who went above and beyond to ensure my brother's health and well-being.
