I have been at the Hillcrest of North Dallas for over a year. I originally came here for rehabilitation following a surgical procedure and decided to stay. The facility is very beautiful with all the comforts of home. I appreciate the professional staff which goes out of their way to be kind, to improve their services and treat you like family. I feel so blessed to be here and would never think of leaving! If you desire to be a part of a loving, caring community look no farther, this place was designed just for you!

Bringing a loved one into a nursing home for the first time can be emotional and overwhelming, but from the moment we walked through the door, we were made to feel welcomed, comfortable, and accepted. I especially want to recognize Mona, the Administrator; Stacy, the Business Office Manager; Christy, who works the front desk and was our first point of contact; and Sean, the Admissions Coordinator. Each of them took the time to explain everything in detail, answer our questions, and make sure we understood the process without ever making us feel rushed. When you’re trusting others with someone you love, how you’re treated matters. Their kindness, patience, and compassion made a difficult transition feel a little easier, and our family truly appreciates that. Thank you all.

My husband is there due to a stroke I’m not able to get up there to see him like should, when I went there on my visit I found out he he was being abused he’s non verbal but can demonstrate what he’s been going through the facility doesn’t call me if there’s anything wrong but can call me when they need something from me, I’m trying to transfer him to another facility that is in the same area where I live all I have to do is walk out the gate, I live in a senior living apartment on Bickers Street

I’m always impressed by the friendliness and welcoming attitude of the staff from the entry to the caretakers in my sister’s room. They actually mention her by name when I come in so I feel like she’s a real person to them.

I was a resident at Hillcrest of North Dallas recently. Initially I was concerned. Admittedly, some of the reviews were troubling... I had major surgery that led to complications. I needed skilled nursing aftercare. During the vetting process, my family and I expressed our concerns with Mr. Fields. We were reassured Hillcrest of North Dallas would provide competent and fully engaged aftercare. They did not fail. The Hillcrest's Stars: CNA Myleah, Nurse Innocent, Nurse Patience, Nurse Blessing, Nurse Olivia, Nurse Kay, Wound care Nurse Melanie "with the healing hands", Head of maintenance Mr. Jerry, Transportation Leroy, Aid Ms. Jina, Aid Ms. Ify and all the supportive Aids. My stay was a little over 3 weeks. I was given the tools to reacclimatize, support my therapy at home, and regaining the confidence to be independent again. If you or your family member should ever need this type of assistances, Hillcrest of North Dallas may be a good start to recovery. My only complaints: 1. The response time to Patient's CALLING for a NURSE. The response time is woeful even in some cases of severe distress. 2. The food options and an overall menu revamping.

My wife’s first full day here, and I can tell she is safe and doing better. Staff seems very attentive, and the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. It’s rough to have your loved ones away, but comforting that they will be taken care of.

We recently had to place one of our close family members in the Hillcrest of N Dallas. From begining of the process and speaking with Sean in the Admission office and going over the details and requirments with Delores in the main office, truly a great experience. They are very professional and caring and help you go through this complicated procees of dealing with Medicaid and Medicare. This is a very clean and friendly environment and the rooms are kept in great shape......A++ .Keep up the great work and thanks for caring!

I gave this facility a one star rating because of the horrible service given to the residents. You pay for certain services but they do not give you those services. Therapy is great but the lack of nursing assistants are extremely bad. No administrative support for the residents. No way to contact the residents. Have called the police, Area on Aging, Adult Protective Services, and the Ombudsman multiple times. They do not answer residents call lights.

One of the most important factors in a great nursing home is the team supporting the families, residents and eachother. The management team is amazing here ! It is obvious they put their heart and soul into keeping the rehab a positive environment. They individually tailor the rehab to fit the needs of the residents and families and embrace their preferences to ensure the residents are not only getting better/stronger, but are happy while they do it.
