Facility is nice, staff is ok, usually with exceptions. The food is horrible. Brought food for my family member often. The facility is understaffed. You WILL wait 20 minutes after you press your bell button, or longer. Good luck at the shift changes of 7am and 7pm hope you don't have an emergency . The rehab unit is overrated. They do not accommodate patients with extensive rehab needs. They like the patients who can get up on their own and need just a moderate to mild amount of therapy. Anyone else needing extended or intensive therapy they will not work with. In fact, they try to push them out the door and discharge them saying they will be no better because the staff are lazy and don't want to do the hard work. Plus the longer you stay the worse they are rated makes them look bad. They do not do therapy on weekends as a general rule. Be aware of your own medications needs and health... if you feel you need a doctor call 911 they will not..you will need a cell phone. They are mediocre at health care. Family should regularly look after their loved ones affairs here. This is a straight forward review, these are the facts, the decision is yours.

My mom was just recently in this facility. My mom was on the decline, but they did their best to accommodate her needs. They are sometimes under staffed, but very caring & easy to work with!

My mother went here for rehab. The staff, nurses, therapists, and aids were fantastic! Monica, who helped us from the beginning, was kind and so understanding of our families situation. The facility was also very clean and the room was very comfortable.

I was there for rehabilitation everyone was wonderful!! Physical therapy, occupational therapy ,nurses, nursing assistants, housekeepers and dietary!!!! Would definitely recommend Riverview Pointe.

I had a very negative perception of nursing homes before my grandma became a resident at Riverview. The communication has been amazing as my grandma's healthcare POA. The team worked with us to tweak her care preferences such as time of day she likes to shower or do therapy, meal options, medication adjustments, etc. She enjoys activities and looks forward to seeing her new friends. I feel that because we and the staff collaborate and communicate together, my grandma benefits even more. All of this takes a weigh off of me and I can enjoy our time together when I visit.

Could not have been more happy about this facility! Everyone here was very compassionate, helpful, and accommodating to my father during his stay in the Greens. This was my first experience with dealing with an elderly parent. They all were kind and caring everyday. When my dad or I needed anything, they were there!! A huge shout to Sarah, who would text and call me to check in on how I was (even on Thanksgiving, and her days off), Katie and Atticus who would stop in and say hello every time I was there, Krystal who was always there with a hug and I kind word, to the team who would make sure my dad had his magic cups or a grilled cheese, the therapy team that's was kind and patient, Beatrice who would gladly give him a shave and make him handsome, and all of those that I know I'm forgetting. Over the past summer my grandmother has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes, she was at plesant lake villa ( via ridge road ) for the longest time but then she could no longer afford it so they brought her here because she didn't feel ready to go home. One day me and my mom ( her daughter ) decided to go visit her and we brought her dog named shadow no we did not call before hand so my mom went to see if we could bring shadow in and the front desk lady asked for his papers my mom didn't bring them but the front desk lady let him in without his papers and all she said was don't tell my boss. but none the less do NOT let the hospital take your family memeber a/or relative to plesannt lake villa.

I have been here for a little over a year, I work in housekeeping and love it! We keep the facility clean and tidy for our residents and staff. My boss is amazing at what she does and is super caring and understanding! If you ever have a problem or concern she will try her best to sort it out and come up with a solution. My co-workers here are also great at what we do. If a family member complained we would work out what went wrong and help them. This place is awesome for family members and hope you choose us!

Read to the end. It gets better 🙂 For now I have upped the rating. Before Covid communication was a huge issue in one of the wings. I felt mother in law was set back by this. She's in memory care now. The unit smelled of pee , she sat in her own mess and had no clean clothing. Her bed had dried mess in it. The facility was tanking fast. The excuse for Covid was wearing thin. Their laundry service had one person . They finally outsourced. Admins didn't seem to take the situation serious at first. The workers were stressed to their limits. We Never really had any issues with any nursing assistant. The Nurses in the memory care unit are wonderful and attentive , especially Ron even though Covid. They listen to family members concerns and act on it. Any facility it's important to stay on top of your LO care and visit , ask questions and forward complaints. This goes for the best of them. I was an NA many moons ago and the task is not easy. With that said the family has noticed over the past few weeks more staff was hired. The unit smells and looks clean. The residence are not slumped over and messy. The rooms are clean. Over all I would say they have currently turned it around. Let's see if they can maintain this quality of care and cleanliness in the facility. Trust me when I say your LO could be in much worse. I pray all NH's especially with the kind of money they have coming in shall always maintain the acceptable quality and care my mother in law now receives. We have been at the facility since 2016. My late sister in law took pain staking care to find her a suitable placement. My MIL was not placed without much consideration . If you like the facility follow though with your placement. You can always move your loved one. For now. My own husband suffering from Dementia if ever placed I would trust placing him here.
