I been here for over a year and the staff here is wonderful. CNA Noel, Rose, Mahawa, Claudia, Nurse Augustina, Kim SW and Jennifer to name a few. It's a lot of really good people here. The cleaning has gotten way better but in general its good here.

Mt Vernon Rehab is a good Skilled Nursing Center but the Mt Vernon Rehab Social Work Team Kim and Haley are INCREDIBLE!! Kim is the Mt Vernon Rehab Social Work Director and she very smart, hardworking and one of the most positive people you will ever meet. Kim and Haley make a great team. Mt Vernon Rehab is very fortunate to have them.

I recently had a loved one in the facility and am very pleased. This facility is clean, the staff friendly and the food looked good. I felt safe leaving my loved one there. During the original tour I saw the gym where physical therapy was held and was very impressed. The actual patient rooms are a bit small but the hallways are open and airy...I like that and there seemed to be alot of activity so being in the room all day wouldnt be necessary. I was able to visit at anytime and called regularly. The staff were helpful and the care was good.

My experience there was great. The entire staff did an excellent job as far as I could see, however, there is always going to be slackers where ever you go.

Excellent facility with a very fine staff committed to providing very good patient care. The staff is remarkably stable given the industry norm. In addition to providing excellent rehabilitative therapy, the facility has an active schedule of activities for residents. Family member and patient concerns are taken seriously and addressed actively. The facility is always clean with a very fine maintenance staff. The food is very good and the dietary staff is excellent. The social work staff is extremely competent, accessible and kind. Having a family member at Mt. Vernon for over two years now, my husband and I have had a very good opportunity to observe and know the staff. We are very pleased and grateful for the excellent care our family member receives. As far as nursing and rehabilitative facilities go, this one is superlative!

Having worked in health care for quite a while, I'm always skeptical of nursing and rehabilitation facilities, but Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehab Center really won me over! I needed to find a place for my mom to recover from a tough surgery, and they were, by far, the best. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and accommodating. And then when I visited, I was so impressed with the professionalism and compassion of the staff. It was easy to see why they received the top rating from Medicare. Mom is back on her feet now, and the whole family is incredibly grateful for MVNRC!

You can tell a lot about a nursing facility by the way the staff looks and acts, and every single person I encountered at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehab Center during my rehabilitation was kind, compassionate and friendly. In fact, everything about MVNRC is just a few notches above what you probably expect from a typical facility. It's clean, comfortable and quiet. Plus the meals are outstanding! By the time I was able to go home again, I wasn't sure I wanted to leave! But seriously, if you are looking for the area's absolute best nursing and/or rehab facility, this is your only choice.

So this was the best decision I ever made was to arrange admission for my elderly sister to go to Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehab Center. She was living in Arlington and could no longer care for herself. I spoke to her doctor and he recommended Mt. Vernon Nursing Center. I signed up for a tour and I was impressed as soon as I entered the building. My sister is now a resident there and she has done remarkably well under their care.
