My mom has been here for over 3 years. I like the service improvements and new decor. I’ve built relationships with a lot of staff as they know my name. Several staff stand out to me from Jennifer , mom’s Medical assistant , who is one of her long time employee. She’s a hustler and knows what mom needs usually before mom asks. Next is the Director of Housekeeping , is a delight to talk to and always quick to address mom’s needs. Lastly, the receptionist , Mazie, he is on top of a lot activity and always calm and in the ball. I like it when I walk in the front door and he’s already updating me on mom’s appointment driver . status. Oh, mom’s nurse, Bobby, is on the ball and so friendly to talk with. Thanks all for caring for mom because I could list more.

I’ve had the privilege of working at Laurel Court for nearly 7 years, and I can truly say it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The sense of teamwork and support among the staff is something you don’t find just anywhere. We are more than coworkers—we're a family, united by the common goal of providing the best care possible to our residents. From leadership to nursing staff, therapy, dietary, housekeeping, and everyone in between, each department works together to ensure our residents feel safe, respected, and cared for. The positive environment here makes coming to work every day meaningful. I’m proud to be a part of a team that goes above and beyond not just for the residents, but for each other as well. I really enjoyed working there. I loved every resident there. Jennifer DON is a very sweet and special person and is willing to solve any problem you may have. Ms. Brandi administrator is very sweet and kind. I really enjoyed working with this group of caring individuals. I left due to my mom being sick I would have stayed with them Laurel court but I had to leave...

Laurel Court is a great place to work! I have visited the facility a lot and the staff are very nice and answers all questions. The nursing department: Jennifer (DON), both UM's Chelsea's are a great leadership team. Therapy dept. rocks. Housekeeping (Tracy) are wonderful. Ken in maintenance takes his job very serious and gets things done. Brandi (ED) always try & solve any problems. Brittany in HR, Martha (Admissions), Chrystal (Social worker), Crystalla (BOM) always go above and beyond. The CNA's, CMA's and Nurses truly do care about the residents and that is what is important.

It is clear in everyday interactions that the staff at Laurel Court care for the wellbeing of their patients! Rehabilitation after a life-changing experience can be challenging and emotional. The DOR, Lauren S. (PT) and her team ensure that therapy is meaningful and focuses on the functional needs of the patient. Lauren and her team are knowledgeable, skilled, detail-oriented, and have positive bedside manners. We appreciate all the support we have received!

I would love to thank the staff that helped with my mom on Monday. She had an episode and needed help right away I called for help and I had an amazing team of nurses and staff there within seconds. I would like to thank Jennifer Laden- Lauren Swindell- Penny( for caring for me) - Kim Blair-Chelsea Brown- my mom's nurse David- Monica Gonzales- Chelsea Brown! They were Wonderful and New exactly what needed to be done! And thank you to Jacqueline ( Jackie) and Elise for always will to be there! I know I am forgetting a few names and I am sorry if I did ! Lauren PT AND Kim OT are wonderful. They helped my stepdad gained his strength from TBI. They are awesome ladies. Thank you ladies to keep him in line along with my mom The nurses and the whole staff is really caring. They treat the residents as their own family.

This place takes such amazing care of their patients. My grandmother was admitted here last summer. We were all very saddened and worried by this, however, the nurse manager, Chelsea, really put our minds to ease. She explained everything in detail, answered all our MANY questions, and most importantly, she made my grandma feel at peace with her stay. She continuously provided care above and beyond throughout my grandma's time there. By the time to leave for home, we all felt like family. My grandma was is great spirits. This in itself should mean 6 stars for Laurel Court. Thank you to Chelsea and all the amazing staff here.

I have been so pleased and blessed with Laurel Court! My Mother had been a resident for several years up until her passing in April. The staff always treated her with the utmost respect, care, and concern, as well as our family, as they constantly made every effort to make her happy and comfortable, I honestly do not know how i could have managed without their help and honest concern! My Aunt still resides there and I continue to be very grateful for the care they give her as well. I continue to visit and monitor her wellbeing and care several times a week, if they need to ask or advise me about something, they are quick to call me! I have personally observed staff, from maintenance to the Director, walking around and talking to or checking on the residents! Although i have had a few complaints, (very few) they are always addressed in a very timely manner and the Director does not tolerate rude, much less abusive treatment for any of her residents! If you have a concern or complaint, talk to them about it! I have and will continue to recommend Laurel Court to those facing the hard decision to place a loved one in a facility! We are on our second visit to laurel court in Alvin. My husband was there the first time due to a severe TBI and walked out with the assistance of a walker. We returned cause of the amazing staff at the facility. The therapy department is amazing. I would like to give a special shout out to Lauren PT and Kim OT for their amazing job on getting Mark back to his daily living. I have so much faith they will do the same this visit. Also a special shout out to nurses Brittiany, Abby, Amy, Kasey, and David for the care they give their residents. The CNAs Debbie, Courtney, Jackie and peaches also for all the hard work they do. I highly recommend this facility. Gale Anenberg
