I had a wonderful experience with Falls Run Nursing & Rehabilitation while my aunt was a resident there. The care she received was excellent, and the therapy team was outstanding. The admission process was fast, smooth, and easy, which made a stressful situation much easier for our family. The staff did a great job communicating with me and keeping me informed about my aunt’s care. The facility was always clean with no unpleasant odors. One of the biggest surprises was the food, my aunt is a very picky eater, and she genuinely enjoyed her meals. I’ve been at falls run now going on 2 years. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for employment, rehab or a place to call home. Once you enter our doors you and your family become ours and we do everything in our power to make sure you have to best stay possible. My mother had the pleasure of staying here after her hip replacement. She was treated with kindness and respect. Every single staff member we interacted with was polite, helpful and courteous.The facility was well maintained inside and out. You could tell cleanliness was a priority. My Mother had everything she needed and wanted while there. The meal plan was excellent! The Bean soup is chef's kiss! Everything tasted good. The Physical and Occupational therapists were extremely helpful, understanding and thorough. The facility had daily activities which allowed my Mother social opportunities and kept her mentally and emotionally active. Everyone there was so thoughtful and I cant thank them enough for everything they did not only for my Mother but for myself. I want the entire staff to know how much I appreciate each and every one of them.

I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is in search of rehabilitation for themselves or a loved one. The facility itself is nice, demonstrates cleanliness, and very welcoming. The staff is also very approachable, as well as helpful throughout the whole process. The director of admissions, Brittany made the admission process for my family member so much easier. Any questions or uncertainties that myself or other family members had were easily answered, as Brittany is very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Upon my relative’s arrival to the facility, numerous staff members made themselves available to make the process an easy transition for him. They also made sure that the family was accommodated at all times. Which makes it comforting to know my relative would be taken care of. In such a short amount of time, we were able to notice his improvement here. His care team works well together to ensure he is getting the proper treatment to recovery. They also make themselves available to keep us informed of any updates of his condition. I would recommend this facility to anyone without a questionable doubt.

This is one of the nicest rehab center I ever been in, when I showed up the first thing I noticed was the freshness and lack of the hospital ordor, the staff was excellent, from the assistants to the medical staff, the food was excellent, the special meals could be ordered if you needed to change the menu to suit your taste. The mngt staff made you feel like you were the only patient In the center. Jeff the manager { sorry I forgot his last name } was the best, he heard me said that I liked the strawberry flavored protein shakes, then one evening he brought me one. The room was cleaned twice a day, bathroom too. The rebab staff, Tom and Ty were excellent treated me with utmost kindness and respect, could not walk more than a few feet when I arrived with my walker due to reconstruction on my complete spinal area. Worked me hard and when my stay was up, I was using a walker like a pro, I have nothing but praise for this place, my home was 2. I want to thank the team at Falls Run. I was hit with a heart attack and stroke and left in VCU for 15 days. They told me upon leaving it would take me 3 months to return to work. The people here were always checking on me and pushing me in therapy to where I was back in under 30 days. I don't normally write reviews but this facility deserves one. My husband and I needed to quickly find a nursing home for our nephew. The Director of Admissions Brittany Carter got him in and processed in 2 days. She was the best in making sure we loved the facility. When we first walked into the facility, we noticed the cleanliness with no odd smells. We were so pleased and knew this would be our nephew home. There are always staff around, and they are friendly and caring with mom. My mother had a stay at the rehabilitation/skilled nursing. The care she received was fantastic. Every single person we came in contact with from The intake coordinator approving a transfer from another facility to the social worker Laura putting her into a room that best suited her to the caring and empathetic nursing staff and finally the physical therapists Sam and Myra and ot staff. I arrived without an appointment to tour this facility and to my surprise I did not have to wait long. The first thing I noticed was, there were no foul odors at all. We did a lot of investigation before we made a decision of where to place my father who has dementia. Falls Run Nursing and Rehab made the top of our list! The staff is so caring and attentive! The medical care he receives is excellent! The atmosphere there is wonderful! I visit once a week on random days and times of my choice. I have always found it very clean, and there are no foul odors such as what you find in most other nursing homes. All of the residents there also seem very happy and well taken care of. The activities director does a wonderful job of keeping the residents involved and happy. I can't say enough good things about Falls Run. We are thrilled that we were able to place my Dad there. He tells me he is very happy as well, which is of the utmost importance to us. Falls Run has been an excellent choice, and we highly recommend it!

Our family reached out to Falls Run yesterday to seek rehab and possible long term care for a loved one and was greeted with extreme professionalism over the phone when inquiring. We went by to check it out and was welcomed with open arms. We expressed our concerns for the current rehab she was in and that it wasn’t meeting expectations. We were told to send over the information and they would see if we could get her placed at Falls Run. Much to our surprise, we got the phone call today that she was accepted, had a bed waiting and they would see her as soon as they get her there. We were over the top with their urgency to get the switch done so that our loved one is receiving the dignity, and the care that anyone would expect their loved ones to receive when they aren’t in the comfort of their own home. We are excited for her to feel at home away from home, not be scared, and get the care she deserves! Thank you Falls Run for all you have done already in two days!!

My Mom has been in long term care at Falls Run Nursing & Rehab since August 2019 with progressive dementia and immobility issues. From the time mom arrived as an often difficult resident, the staff in every department has worked tirelessly and compassionately with her. She was often not cooperative in PT/OT and still they continued to work with her while following protocols and high standard of care values. During COVID-19 shutdown when we were no longer able to visit mom, the staff set up opportunities to video call mom on a regular basis. We still are connecting this way weekly. Mom has thrived through this very difficult time. Her demeanor has softened, she is more cooperative and her dementia has become less severe at times because she feels at home, safe, cared for and a sense of belonging. Her nurses and activities director and staff are heroes. They stay in touch with us on a regular basis with impromptu check ins, updates on covid status, and anything new with mom. The facility is also working with United Health Care’s Medicaid program and she has an addition set of nursing eyes on her monthly in their routine check ins. I have a sense of peace knowing mom is doing well here. Life threw us a curve when we realized she was going to need long term care. Falls Run has been a blessing through it all. Our family is truly grateful for all they have done for mom and how beautifully they have embraced her and made her feel loved.

My Mom had to have her leg amputated and was originally at Woodmont for rehab. Our decision to move her to Falls Run for Long Term care was made easier by discussing the care and attention she would be getting by Jamie Sevier, the admissions director. He also stayed involved as she got settled in. There continue to be small issues and the roommate situation has been difficult, but the staff is fabulous. Mom has memory issues and can be mean. The group takes everything in stride. I hope they continue to provide excellent care.

I can't believe it was one year ago that my mom came home from Falls Run Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. From the first day that my mom was admitted, the PT nurse said, she walked about ten steps independently. I had a meeting about her progress weekly, and the admin even helped me figure out the paperwork for assistance. As the days turned into weeks, I saw her improvement. Before her final days, the nurses came out to the house to ensure that the home was safe. Last year, I remembered feeling overwhelmed with the entire process, but the admin staff and PT department had her best interest and this was the best places for her recovery. Once mom was settled and driving on her again, I decided it was time to start giving back to the community. I signed up as a volunteer at the Healthy Generations area of aging. After helping so many people buy and sell, I became a Senior Real Estate Specialist and dedicated my focus to local Seniors. Falls Run Rehab not only helped my mom gain her independents back but also gave me a greater purpose in serving my local community.

Toured the facility today before my moms placement for rehab tomorrow. Very nice staff. Clean beautiful rooms. The admissions director and assistant were very accommodating. I chose this facility based on a dear friends assessment of local nursing homes. She is a nurse who is very familiar with most rehab centers in the area. She told me that it was the best. Based on what I've seen so far, I believe she was right. I will review again in 6 weeks and give the outcome!
