My husband recently stayed at your facility. We are so thankful we found you. Everything about it is excellent. It is clean, organized, professional, but most importantly, it is caring. The entire staff, from Terry at the front desk to the kind people throughout the entire building are topnotch. We didn't get all their names, but we should have. After a two week in-patient hospital visit I was sent to Cumming Health and Rehab for further recovery. The rehab and OT staff were top notch. I have had a lot of rehab in the past and would recognize a top notch staff. You have that here. I became stronger in a short period of time. I also needed time to recover from a serious illness. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and vested in my recovery. They were professionalThe CNA I had the most contact with took excellent care of me and went over and beyond to see that my needs were taken care of. She was kind and compassionate. Her name was Hopie. One can only hope that if one becomes a patient anywhere that they will have a CNA like Hopie. She made the dark days look brighter. My experience here at Cumming Health and Rehab could not have been better. I would unequivocally recommend this facility to anyone looking for care for themselves or their loved ones.

I spent 2 weeks here around Christmas time after a back injury left me in pain and unable to stand, sit or walk. There were some wonderful caretakers who were helpful and compassionate. Unfortunately there were some that were terribly mean and actually refused any request (especially the temporary help at holidays.) The facility is old and depressing and the food mostly inedible with no alternatives for vegetarians. The lack of professional oversight is appalling. I often waited over an hour for fresh water, hygiene supplies, and pain medicine. If you must stay in a rehab facility it's imperative that you have family or friends come by to give you some TLC and good snacks!

It's been 92 days and I'm finally home!!! My recovery so far has been intense but fruitful. CHR therapy is excellent. Being in rehab so long has taught me many new life lessons. I met many wonderful selfless people with incredibly big servant hearts. That was the biggest blessing of all. Special shout out to CNA Jeannette in 200 hall. She helped me my first few weeks when I was at my worst and needed it the most. She is an angel. Hopie, Cherry and Mikal Ann were also my faves. There are so many who were so good to me from therapy to activities and beyond; too many to list but you know who you are. I am forever grateful! ™

Medical staff is exceptional! Drs, NPs, Nurses and Med techs are all amazing with communication and care. Nursing support staff are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely hard working. Kitchen and dining staff go above and beyond ensuring all dietary needs and wishes are met. EVS crew is hands down superb! Facility is clean, bright and cheerful. Social services team are always two steps ahead of residents needs. Therapists are superb with rehabbing clients maximizing safety and confidence. Admissions and concierge work tirelessly ensuring that patients and family both admit and return home with ease. Excellent choice facility for you or your loved ones needs.

My husband Al is a patient at this facility. I cannot say enough good about it, the CNA's are so good, and the nurses OMGosh I cannot say enough good about them, the Med-Tech Sam, she is the bomb.. the Doctors and Nurse Practioners, are so caring and really helpful, the Social Services ladies are always kind and helpful, Nancy in transportation and the Concierges Lisa and Katlyn are so helpful and Tim and Fallon that host the games Bingo and Jeopardy and Karaoke are the best. But I think the very best thing for us is the Therapy, the girls and guys on "The Therapy" side are so wonderful, they know the patient's inside & out and they know when they are having a good day or bad day and they meet the patient "where they are in therapy". I want my husband to stay at this facility but there is a waiting list and I see why. Take your loved one here, you won't be sorry, they are kind and compassionate and very loving to your loved one and they are so very kind to me also.

My mom just left Cumming rehab and was there for a apx a month. The staff was WONDERFUL and the facility managers did a great job communicating about her care and answering any questions we had. They had wonderful physical, therapists, occupational therapists, nurses and doctors on staff. This was her second rehab facility and was night and day different than our first experience. I would trust Cumming rehab with her care again!

My mother was recently discharged from Cumming Rehab after a relatively short stay. Our experience was a good one that was facilitated by several contributors. The rehab team was terrific, getting mom back to her ambulatory self, moving like there were no residual effects from her condition and events. Her team of CNA’s was fantastic, KAT, DANIEL, and OLA. Without their care, positive attitude and patient dedication, the stay would have been far more difficult. Last but not least, Shawntae, in the Social Services office, helped us get mom back to NC and into assisted living to further her rehabilitation. To you all we say thank you, but to those mentioned we say, THANK YOU!

My mother was in Cumming Health and Rehab for 4 weeks due to a broken pelvis. The care that she received there was very good, and we were very satisfied with her treatment. The rehabilitation department is excellent, with very caring and concerned physical and occupational therapists and up-to-date equipment. The nursing staff and admissions personnel also provided exceptional care. All in all, I would be happy to recommend Cumming Health and Rehab for anyone needing rehabilitation.

We can not say enough good things about Cumming Health and Rehabilitation. From our initial tour with Kaitlin, Admissions with Lisa, Concierge staff, PT/OT (Director Angel, PT - Lindsey and OT - Meme), daily care from Nurses, Aids and Techs, Social Services Director (Shawntae), and Dr. Wu, our experience was top notch. They did everything and more to ensure my mom was comfortable and getting the appropriate care. My mom’s care team helped us navigate a very delicate situation which entailed moving my mom to the next step in her rehabilitation which was Assisted Living. Please do not look at the exterior/interior building, but appreciate the professional and superior communication, and the exceptional day to day care given to patients. We could not have navigated our mom’s situation without our mom’s team at CHR. She grew very close to her therapists, nurses and aids and was sincerely sad to be discharged. We are very thankful for CHR and wish everyone at the facility a blessed and happy 2026!

I had a total knee replacement this month and this facility, especially the Therapy Department, was great!!! There were times I really did not feel like going to therapy because of my pain but I pushed myself and I came in with a positive attitude! It really paid off, when I saw my surgeon, he said I exceeded his expectations of my recovery! I would like to give special thanks and recognition to the following in therapy: Noah, PTA, he was so patient and informative about continuing my therapy at home; Avani, PT; Rose, OT, she was patient, caring and kind; Len (Lem), very helpful and supportive! They were all excellent and professional and I thanks each and every one of you that helped me if I forgot your name! Special thanks to some awesome Nurses: Emily, (so professional and efficient; ) Philip, great person; I’m sorry I didn’t get all the names of those who were there for me. A BIG thanks to the CNAs and Techs: Nirpal, such a kind and caring person who I will not forget; Margaret and Natasha and several others. It makes such a difference when staff is professional but kind too. It makes us feel good, a smile goes a long ways! My experience with this facility has been nothing but positive. The employees are truly great”always helpful, caring, and dedicated to the residents. You can immediately notice how clean and well-kept the building is, which really stands out. The dietary department does an excellent job meeting the needs of all residents, making sure everyone receives meals that are both appropriate and enjoyable. One of the best things about this facility is the activities offered to the residents and patients. They always look excited, engaged, and genuinely happy. The enthusiasm and joy during activities says a lot about the quality of care provided. Overall, this is a place I would trust and feel comfortable bringing my own family to if ever needed.

I rated Cumming Health & Reb tops for the following reasons. The facility is clean, including patient rooms. Cleaning staff coming in all day long cleaning the rooms & patients beds. Food was tasty, & plentiful. Breakfast is light; however, lunch & dinner are full meals. A menu is given to each patient to order. If the lunch & dinner are not a choice for you, there is a menu to order cheeseburgers, sandwiches, etc. Therapists were attentive, patient &, I believe, highly qualified. I suffered a hip injury & I was walking with a walker in the two weeks I was there. Doctors visited the patients & answered any questions the patients asked. Administrative offices, if called, always responded - coming to the patient's room to address the problem. The entire staff at Cumming Health & Rehab were pleasant & helpful. I cannot say enough good things about Cumming Health and Rehab for the care and attention to Mom's health during her stay there earlier this year. So many good, knowledgeable and caring people work there, all treating Mom so well that when I wasn't there I knew she was being well looked after. They gave me peace of mind. Lisa was always checking that things ran well; Shawntae and Hemani in social services were always going out of their way to guide, help and assist me, whatever the need. Margaret, Connie, Emma, Jennifer and so Many others made sure Mom was fed, clean, well-tended, received TLC and checked her medical requirements. Norma, the wound care nurse and so proficient at her job, took great care of any problems Mom had immediately. If I had concerns or questions about Mom's condition and her care, Barbara, Jennifer and Dr. Wu were all very helpful to me and to Mom. Angel and the others in physical therapy made a big difference in Mom's health and outlook: very beneficial to how Mom felt. Terri, the receptionist, did and amazing job of getting the patients the proper transportation to their appointments and back, keeping track of them, relaying messages and offering guidance. Any way she could make it better or help, Terri did so. The cleaning staff all work tirelessly at a big job, making sure to keep the entire facility is as clean as possible-not and easy task in such a high-traffic, large area-but they do a great job every day. The laundry staff also does wonders at another demanding job, keeping the clothes well cleaned and the clean clothes going back to the rightful owners and even doing all they can to find missing garment when needed. They were always glad to help me in any way. Everyone there, and there are more than I can name here, did all they could to take very good care of Mom, myself and my family. Again, I cannot say enough good about Cumming Health and Rehab, nor can I name or thank everyone there, in every job, enough for all they did for my Mom. They are the best car facility I've ever seen and I highly recommend them.
