Laura Hospitality Director was so tentative to my needs. The kitchen staff was so kind . When I came here I wouldn't expect this treatment at all that . I have been to other facilities that weren’t as nice . I was treated like family here . I had good therapy they really took care of me and have patience with me. Super exceeded my expectations!

Edit: I wanted to come back on here and say in my grandma’s last few months she was treated like an absolute queen at this place. She ended up passing away a few weeks after she came home. It was just her time. After my grandma was released all the staff congratulated her on her wellness and leaving the facility. I’m so grateful my grandma got to be surrounded by such caring people in her last moments. Thank you so much to the staff. You made her last few months. My grandmother was in this facility for a few weeks. They provided her with around the clock care! As much as she wanted to come home she very much enjoyed her stay. The staff is amazing and caring towards their patients!

I was at the facility today and I had a great experience visiting friends and loved one and miss buzz lori gave a great introduction and showing of where to get around to location and everything and I believe that she is worthy of a 25% raise in her salary, she does awesome job of letting people know. How to get an in and out as well as all the conditionings that are going on and making sure the residents as well as visitors are being treated properly and fairly with the way that is being done.

My friend and I both live at the same senior center so when she fell and then got a really bad infection, had to be taking the hospital and they cut her knee open from side to side clear around the knee anyway she’s only been at ignite about a month and already she is regarding the full motion of her knee and it healed up really nicely. At first she was talking, so good about the therapy people that I thought they must not be doing their job they must not be pushing her, but for her to have regained the full range of mobility already. It’s phenomenal ad for her to like the people that pushed her into doing that is totally unbelievable. anyway, thank you guys with my whole heart. She has nothing but smiles and good things to say about you all.oh Yeah she also called one of the nurses Angel, and when she introduced me I called him Angel turns out that’s not his name and once again, want to tell you thank you.

The nurses and staff were all very nice and helpful. My only complaint was not being able to talk to a nurse when we called after hours, just to check on our mother. She didn’t seem to get as much therapy as we thought she should have. Also, it smelled in the hallways most every time we went to visit.

We have used Vera’s NW OKC for grooming and occasional boarding. They have done an amazing job each time. The grooming is done just as we ask each time and our girls seem to love it. Today they came out with fall bandanas and a pumpkin spice smell (not strong). Very sweet touch. The staff always are patient and seem happy to seem them. Thank you so much

I visit my good friend and neighbor Joe. Over the years he has been in multiple rehabs. Friday donuts are a tradition, and with the advance entry at ignite, visiting hours aren’t an obstacle. The staff is awesome he is thriving, and I can’t wait to get him home

TL;DR: Kind, respectful staff who truly care about residents and families. Great experience overall; highly recommend Ignite OKC. The staff at Ignite OKC were fantastic and treated both my grandmother and me with kindness, humor, and respect. Everyone, nurses, CNAs, PT, kitchen crew, maintenance, housekeeping, and admin, was friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely cared about the residents. They did their absolute best with the resources they had to make sure my grandmother was well taken care of. They were also incredibly accommodating, even putting up with me staying with her for most of her stay so I could help out. If any of my family ever need temporary care in the future, I’d absolutely recommend this facility.

I currently have a dear, loved one at ignite medical resort. I will update my review as his stay continues but at the moment I have concerns. Their front lobby is very nice, the room is a single that shares a bathroom. We are told there is no hot water In a shower room resulting in a bed bath. Why is there no hot water? Receiving medications In a timely manor seems to be a struggle. Even when family requests/reminds medaide about the time and medication needed. Saturday was a 3 hour wait. We did see an occupational therapist on Saturday which was a joy! Hoping for a pleasant stay and quick recovery.

Thank you to all of the who took care of me. This has been a great experience from the day Tina called me hey sweetheart at the hospital , I was sold right then and there. Everyone has been so kind to me from the front desk girls, the 2 ladies black hair and blonde hair who sat with me and all the staff. My MIL was there for several weeks. She loved the Physical Therapists and her nurses so much. April (in admissions) has been amazing helping us and answering questions - even after hours. I truly don't know where we would be today without her guidance.

This one star is mainly in response to a notice my family got about a respiratory “outbreak “ in the building with a request for visitors to wear a mask, but nothing about precautions a RESIDENT should take. Also I WILL BE DISCHARGED VERY SOON AND IF I END UP SICK AT HOME WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TO TELL MY DOCTOR WHAT TO TEST FOR AND WHETHER I HAVE BEEN VACCINATED FOR IT. IGNITE WILL NOT REVEAL THE NAME OF THE INFECTION CITING HIPPA .THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. We were finally told it wasn’t in my area if the building but I go to therapy and walk all over the building and work on activities inna common area.I have had reasonable care at Ignite, not perfect, but Therapy was excellent, call button answered promptly, a decent version of institutional food, but cleanliness of me and my room lousy. At one point for three days there were feces on the floor in front of the sink of my shared bathroom that I reported three times. Finally when housekeeping came on the fourth day for routine cleaning, it was cleaned up.

The staff here was very warm and welcoming and tended to all of my needs through out this entire horrendous expirence of pulling my nose plug. I know as a patient I can't do a lot but putting a smile on someone face is something I can do. TJ nurse , Tralica And Jessica (it was a miracle I didn't break your hand) I hope this proves this facility the beautiful staff they employ.

I sincerely appreciate the effort put forth from Laura to pick up belongings at st,anns nursing home. It was above and beyond the call of duty. Being over 100 degrees this was a dangerous thing to do in this heat . I had no more clothes to wear so this was extremely vital. My Mom’s stay at Ignite Medical has been overwhelmingly positive. The nursing staff and therapists deliver A-level care”Mom’s progress in therapy has been impressive, and she even raves about the food (no small feat for a rehab menu!). The call-light response time is quick, and the facility’s location right next to INTEGRIS is super convenient for follow-up appointments. A couple of caveats: the building can feel a bit warm at times, parking is tight, and case management is atrocious and has been the lone pain point. I’ve left messages for two weeks about care-plan scheduling and still haven’t heard back. If they tighten up that communication piece, Ignite would be a solid five-star experience. Overall, though, for therapy results and day-to-day care, they’re top-notch.

I wrote a review last week and some of it was good some was not. You really have a good staff/employees that work at this Ignite. The area that is not good, very poor is your aid division. You have great nurses such as Ben, Regina, Rachel, MaryBelle, Mark, TJ, Tiffany, Becky, Don. You have some ok aids but some that don’t give a damn. The good ones are Victor, Angel, Jessica, another night nurse just don’t know name, Bailey, Tralica. Your ones that don’t give a damn are Lacy, Jada, another aid day worker. Shes short heavy set wears her hair up in brades. Shes on her phone 24/7, ignores the call lights. She can be in a room and get a personal phone call and leave w/o taking care of patient. She walks up and down the hall loop talking on her phone. She was asked to clean out bedside toilet and she left it. She says she’ll be back with whatever and you never see her again. Lacy isn’t quite that bad. She’s bad about saying she’ll be back and you never see her again. Another area that is horrible is the bath/shower. I went 8 days before I got a bath and I washed myself. I’m leaving tomorrow and asked for a bath because it’s been 5 days-nothing. I’m not a dirty stinky person. But this place this area has made me feel this way. I’m embarrassed to have anyone come near me. I just don’t understand why they won’t give me a bath. The next area you have that is the greatest is your therapy division. Your pt/ot is fantastic. If it hadn’t been for Edna, Debbie, Pierre, Tyler-and Michelle I wouldn’t be the strong person I am today. They got me ready for my surgery and they got me ready for my discharge. Thank you for these wonderful people. You definitely need to keep them. Thank you again. I know I’ll probably get the reputation of being a critic but I was in 4 different facilities before I came to ignite OKC. This is or was by far the best place. Both of my parents went to Ignite for rehab and both left the facility in better shape. The staff were friendly and communicated with us regarding their care. My parents said they were comfortable and the food was good. Physical and occupational therapy were provided, which allowed my parents to regain strength.

So far all staff have been very friendly and helpful. The nurses seem so happy in providing care. Nurse Erin is so happy! Upon arrival nurse Rachel made sure to get my family member an air mattress for a bed sore she got while staying at Jim Thorpe. They have been ensuring position turns every 2 hours instead of 4! Place could use some tlc here and there but we will take the awesome care they provide over aesthetics!

I am so impressed with the care I received at Ignite. The accidental fall that broke my hip was traumatic. But ignite staff started immediately to make me as comfortable as possible. Through the care there I started to gain strength, from needing help to get up to being able to get up on my own. The therapy is incredible! They worked to make me stronger each day until I was able to go home. Everyone there was kind and encouraging! Even the food was delicious!

My elderly friend had broken his hip & was sent to Ignite after having a steel rod placed to stabilize the bone. To continue his PT. Over all care was alright. Though I was called on 1 incident where he was being transferred from the wheelchair to the bed & wheelchair wasn't locked & he fell. When I had asked about nicotine patches, I was told that I had to purchase them myself, & after doing so, was told by another nurse that a Dr would have to write a prescription for them. I think that all the nursing staff should be aware of what the Dr will/wont allow unless prescribed by him/her. In the whole time (i believe) 3 weeks he was there, I never saw the Doctor. I'd come in different hours, when I asked, was told the Dr comes in the afternoons, so, i stayed at the facility until 7pm on my days off hoping to speak to the Dr. No such luck. He enjoyed the food immensely. Some of the nursing staff are really great! Thank You to those ladies on overnights YOU ARE A BLAST! THANK YOU KALEB! FOR ALL THE HELP YOU CONTINUE TO GIVE EVEN AFTER LEAVING Ignite!
