My stay at CareOne was bittersweet. While I was happy to return home, it was hard to leave behind such a caring team. Special thanks to Nurses Kalia and Gina for their kindness, professionalism, and support throughout my recovery. The Physical Therapy team was outstanding and played a key role in helping me regain my strength and confidence. I’d also like to thank Linda and the kitchen staff, the Activities Team, the aides who assisted me, and the administration team for their dedication and positive impact on my stay. I visited here recently to meet their new Social Services Director IC, who is wonderful and so accommodating. She showed me around and introduced me to few of the nurses, their administrative staff and got to meet some of the residents. Working in healthcare, I have been to a lot of nursing homes, and I could say that this facility is well maintained. It is clean and modern with cozy touches all around. Talking to the residents, I felt their sense of belonging, being part of the community, in a place they call home, where their healthy well-being is first and foremost. It’s refreshing to see a facility that not only provides the highest quality of care possible but as well as a safe and comfortable home-like environment for its residents. I had a wonderful experience at CareOne at Livingston Acute Care. The staff truly stands out”they are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. Care One Livingston is a great place to be! You're welcomed into the beautiful building with smiles and support. The front desk receptionist does a wonderful job decorating the lobby for every season! All of the staff, from nursing and physical therapy to dietary and recreation work to ensure a holistic experience where patients and residents and truly care for and cared about! The building itself very clean and taken good care of. There's always so much going on here, ensuring that everyone, from staff to residents and families, can get involved in the fun! The team at Care One Livingston works together to create a home like environment with top notch care!

Although I am forgetful at times, I remember a lot. In February 2025, I had a stroke due to a brain bleed. I was admitted to Care One Livingston at the end of April 2025. I knew Care One Livingston was my new forever home. I now have lived, ate, and slept almost a year here. The people here from the administrator, nursing staff, and everyone else, all work to make every resident and patient comfortable and happy. Every department is just as kind as the next. Most of the food is delicious. The soup is SO good! I have soup for lunch and dinner. The administrator is such a good listener and help with problems. All the nurses are just as kind as the next with extreme gentleness. Then housekeeping and maintenance will help with any problems or anything g you may need. The Recreation Director plans crafts and music to entertain us! She also plans luncheons and parties for each holiday for us to share with our friends and families. During the summer, all departments work together for us to enjoy the war, weather! Why I am writing this is to say that I love living here! My room is my home and I decorate it as I please and even my roommate pitches in to have other residents to look and enjoy everything we put out. Last month, a lot of my fellow residents voted me to be the President of Resident Council, and I accepted with pride. I can honestly say that 5 stars is too low of a rating to give to Care One Livingston. 15-20 stars is a better rating for how much I love my new home and the people in it.

It is very difficult to experience a relative losing the ability to live alone. It was a scary and emotional experience and Care One on Passaic Avenue in Livingston has made their place my Aunts Home. She is settled and treated well. She is not only happy but thriving. We are so grateful for the staff and nurses that help make this experience be a decent one for our Aunt. I would highly recommend this Care One facility to anyone in need. From the moment my mother was admitted for rehabilitation following her broken leg, the entire experience was handled with professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. The CNAs, Sharon, and Joseph, provided excellent care and were consistently warm and friendly. They were attentive and kind, always treating both residents and myself with respect. It was clear they truly care about the people they serve. The PT/OT teams were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. They took the time to explain how the exercise would set her up to be ready when discharged, and provided the motivation she needed during recovery. Their dedication made a difference. The RN's/LPN's, including Fernedine, Ernistina, and Gina(Mom thanks you for the Valentines Card) were all professional, responsive, and supportive. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and care. The social workers and administrators were equally outstanding. They were compassionate, organized, and helpful in guiding us through every step of the process. Overall, the entire staff at CareOne at Livingston were friendly, professional, and truly supportive. Our family is grateful for the care, attention, and kindness shown during her three-week stay. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of post-acute care.

I was really impressed with the empathy and level of care at CareOne. We took a chance on them and felt like we were very lucky to land there. My mom had severe back wounds that they treated w care and compassion. The nursing team and staff as well as aides should be highly commended for their work. My girlfriend is miserable while recovering from hip surgury. Nurses are short tempered, almost rude. Air-conditioning doesn't work well. Food isnt good. I feel horriable for her.

My 91 year old father had the privilege of receiving amazing care from the team at CareOne Livingston SNF. After having such a traumatic clinical experience where he required unexpected brain surgery, Dad was blessed to receive the proper clinical oversight for his complex needs and specialize rehab services which ultimately allowed him to return home to us ! And yes, he was even walking when he left Care One ! My family and I are grateful for the amazing customer service from everyone include Administration, Housekeeping, Recreation, & Dietary and most importantly the outstanding nursing and therapy services. at Care-One in Livingston..I can attest to the fact that now I am able to walk again Thanks to the great Staff at their Therapeutic Facility..they are the most experience and knowledgeable group of Therapists when it comes to the Rehabilitation of Spinal Cord Injuries.. when I rolled in a Wheelchair into Care-One I was wondering if I will ever walk again..Thanks to the Therapy Staff, Carol, Ken, Maghen, and Gonzalo, Lanni and Anna, Ms.Harsihta, Allison under the Supervision of J.P.Rogando I was given the most Professional Therapy that Care-One could ever give.. within a short amount of time from January to mid February my legs were strong enough to stand..I was able to rehabilitated to Dress, Shower, Stand, use Steps and now instead of a Wheelchair I can access a Walker..and move and walk around to live a normal life within a span of Four MonthsThank You Forever I Will Be Grateful..The Nursing Staff and CNA’s are also the best in the State when giving their care to its Patients in time of need.. Their true compassion and empathy to the Patients are genuine.. Thank You Nurse Gina, Gigi, Kalea, Stella, Remy, Tiffany, and Wesna for your Professional care..and to the CNA’s Marie, Gyna, Joseph, Elysise,Yonette, Miss Gail, Victor, Roy, all of you made my care comfortable at my time of need.. My grandmother Silvia, was fortunate to be able to receive her rehabilitation therapy from having heart surgery at Care One At Livingston, New Jersey. The entire facility went above and beyond to accommodate all of her needs, as well as made her feel very comfortable. From the Administrative Department, to the staff of highly trained nurses, to the Physical Therapy Team all were exceptional. The entire facility is immaculate and decorated beautifully. There is even a hair salon at the facility. What an superb facility for your loved one.

This was my mom’s second stay for Rehab within 7 years apart. Medical and Staff are exceptional and very attentive towards her needs. The comfort level and trust she feels safe to be her #1 pick. Although she and roommate complained about what can picked for food. More simple options needed. I felt she could have used more time but when Insurance calls, it ends like that.

I truly recommend careone of Livingston and careone Rehab my husband Jeffrey Stern was a resident in the rehab and the assistant living after he came out of the hospital were he almost died from being overweight his starting weight was 500lbs and thanks to these places he lossed a total of 213 lbs they helped him with nutrition and weight loss they took great care of him and I came to visit him all the time did his laundry and linen for him sometimes they let me eat dinner here ty too the all the staff ty kirbee and Jeffrey stern hi ty to all the staff for saving his life The room was great and I had my own room ty all the staff in both love buildings love jeffrey stern and his wife Kirbee stern

In a day and age where many healthcare facilities are being strangled and crippled by employee shortages and staggering patient to nurse ratios, Care One at Livingston rose to the challenge. They did not allow anything to stand in the way of them giving my husband excellent care. My husband came into the facility close to midnight October 20th. He was greeted with a warm smile and bed. The next day, he was greeted by the director of Physical Therapy to evaluate him. Did I mention that it was on a Sunday? My husband was in a bad way, unable to even sit up on his own. He met him where he was and gave him encouraging words mingled with the facts about what the future would hold for him as far as therapy was concerned. We appreciated the time he took to explain everything to us. The doctors visited performing evaluations and assessing the situation always allowing for questions and clarification. They were always willing to go over test results to make sure that we had a clear understanding of what was going on. The nurses and CNA staff were an absolute treasure! They treated my husband with dignity. They were vigilant with his care. They constantly monitored everything from his weight and state of mind to his medication and urine. They left no stone unturned all the while maintaining a friendly disposition at times when I knew they were exhausted. Because of their consistent care, I was at peace if there was a day that I could not come to visit because I knew that he was being well cared for. It was more than just administering medication and taking BP's. Their bedside manner eased our fears and helped us to believe that everything would eventually be alright. The cleaning staff fluttered through the rooms making sure that everything was clean and sanitized taking care not to wake all that were asleep or carry on pleasantries as they cleaned that ended with "have a good day!" The chef, cafeteria staff and nutritionist/ dietician played a huge part in our day. Along with giving a weekly menu, they would do their best to meet his individual needs if they were not on the menu. They would even warm my meals whenever I asked without a scowl or a look of irritation. They would oftentimes ask how my husband was coming along. I thought that was nice. The director, social workers and office staff made everything come together for us in terms of our stay there. They advocated for us with insurance as well as transportation. They directed me as to who to call and what to ask to get the answers I needed. They were always a ready and willing resource that I was thankful for on many occasions. The physical therapy, and speech therapy staff was absolutely phenomenal! They were relentless in their pursuit to assist my husband in his recovery. Every day they would come into the room with a pleasant, yet determined demeanor that was contagious. It was a slow, hard and painful process. However, they never gave up and they never let us give up. My husband went from having difficulty breathing and pronouncing certain words to breathing effortlessly while pronouncing words correctly. He went from not even being able to lift his head from the pillow to walking out of the building. Not only did they help him pick his body up, they helped to encourage his spirit. We rolled through those doors on a stretcher October 20th and walked out bidding them farewell December 23rd. All praise to God for this facility and a heartfelt thank you to the staff for the best Christmas gift ever! We will never forget them and will continue to pray that God gives them the strength they need to do for others what was done for us.

Had a wonderful experience. Physical therapy group was very helpful and supportive. The aids (Especially Ms. Sharon) were a delight. She was very helpful in getting me to do things on my own. The nurses were very attentive and wound care nurse Ms. Libby was great!! I’ll never forget the experience!!!

This was a really nice experience and I'm grateful to have rehabbed here after a hospital stay. The building is well maintained and the residents really enjoy the community activities as I did. It is a very upscale looking, attractive facility. The staff has been very kind and helpful. It's overall a good situation. Doctors and Nurses are, of course, on hand whenever needed. Physical Therapy has been a game changer for me and my issues with spinal stenosis. I was taught core exercises that I will definitely do on a daily basis, since they, as well as using a walker properly, were very beneficial to me. If in the future I find myself in need of a nursing home, my search is already over and I will definitely refer friends and family here. Again, this has been a very good experience and a much needed one for me. Thanks to all. - Linda
