My Aunt was taken under the care of the Accolades Team (Paxton, IL) on July 5th in the rehab unit. Over the next 45 days, the care and attention she received during this time was exemplary. From the day she got there until the day she left, I felt complete confidence that she was getting the best care and medical support possible. The social services staff were phenomenal in getting her settled through a very efficient and organized process, and her nurses treated her like family. Everyone I encountered made everything as easy as they could for me considering I live several states away. A huge shout out to Lane (Social Services Director) and Jordan (Activity Director) who were so unbelievably supportive that I don't think I could have gotten through this journey without them. After my Aunt left for the next leg of her journey, I really missed communicating with Lane and Jordan and the guidance I received from them. Their support meant everything to me. My mother is in this facility and I'm so so grateful for everyone at the facility. They ensure that she is well taken care and get to know her personally and work with her to ensure she's happy. The number of activities she does is amazing - there fun things every day and her walls are covered in her artwork she's proud of. The staff knows me by name and are truly like family. They also have a hair stylist and someone who paints her nails. I can't say enough good.

Enjoy the care that Accolade shows for all the residency esp. including how they participate in all the holidays , bringing arts and activities to the residents. Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living activities is the best part of the experience at PSL. Their activities staff cares deeply for the residents and creates a space where their involved in several community activities: the Easter Egg Hunt for children of families and community, trick-n-treating at Halloween .... the wonderful Christmas Dinner and program. The residents are blessed to have a wonderful staff that cares. This is our family's second experience with Accolade and both times PSL has done a wonderful job caring for them. Thank you! Families considering long-term care facilities might be discouraged by the appearance of the facility, it might seem old, but the caring of the staff and the activities, they engage the residents in out way the appearance. It's what's inside not outside that counts.

My sister is a new resident at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior living. I wanted to spend time with her and see her new home for myself( I live 3 hours away). And I left feeling confident this place is the right place for her. I was very impressed with the staff and their sincere care about the residents. A friend of ours was at Accolade for a 32 day rehab stint. We found the facility to be well kept and our friend received excellent care throughout that period. Staff was amazing. 10/10!

I have been pleased with my mother's care. Tammy who works with the finance part has walked me threw everything. And Josh has been wonderful in sending updated on mom threw pictures and activities. And helping me get moms hair done when needed and talking her out of getting it cut too short!! Thank you for that! The nursing staff has been good to her as well! I didn't want her to just lay around in bed and not get up. So when I asked their help they all pitched in! Overall I think that this is a good place for your loved ones!
