I want to tell you all a few wonderful things about Woodlands at Forbes Lake Senior Apartments. First of all the staff is great: Mae, Almira, Ace, and all the rest... top notch. Responsive and kind. Also, the many helpful amenities we are offered: Hopelink PSE for help with electric bill/Food Bank, Kirkland Cares for rebates on utilities, auto tabs, etc. Very thankful. And a word about Brad Turner, our RSC. Brad is available to help us with any questions/concerns about applying for these programs, and many other things. Intelligent and thoughtful. Ace came and replaced my lightbulb a couple of times. The area is quiet and lots of walkable area. Almira helped me with my PetScreening profile and Mae manages the property very well.

Our Manager, Mae, has gone over and above to assist in getting me a closer parking place due to a health issue. She also helped guide me in requesting a grab bar installation in my bathtub, which Ace installed quickly and efficiently, saving me from a possible fall. I’m so grateful that I live here and would recommend it to all my senior friends.

Mae Macy is the most professional manager I have ever known and I've been involved in management during my career in Human Resources. She is actually the person I admire and like better than anyone else in the whole world. She also has a lovely sense of humor. She is a joy and I'm so glad she is manager at Woodlands at Forbes Lake. I have also had confidence with Ace Miranda being top notch with all maintenance issues. Almira Dorotan is new here and I'm already supremely impressed with her intelligence and professionalism and friendliness. I also would like to add Christian to my list of admirers specifically because I spent years learning Spanish and it's so fun greeting him in his own language. El es muy bueno.

Almira gave me a tour of the apartments and I really liked it. The place is clean, quiet, and everyone we met was super nice. I’m looking for a place for my grandmother, and this definitely feels like it could be home. Almira was great, walking me through everything and answering all my questions.

It is great to have Orlando and Ace on the job here at Forbes Lake. Industrious, polite, thorough with excellent follow through. I specifically requested help in the garden ( I am a volunteer) and they gladly assisted. And they did a fabulous job on cleaning our pond. I hope they stay a long time.

I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our outstanding management and maintenance team at Woodlands Senior Housing. They’re always ready to assist with both small and big issues. Recently, my refrigerator stopped working over the weekend. I called the team, and within 10 minutes, they came to check it. Shortly after, Mr. Marlon Dato, a repair man, arrived”prompt, professional, and efficient. He assessed the situation and quickly replaced my refrigerator with a new one. I truly appreciate the excellent service. Thank you!

Very friendly neighbors and lots of activities. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood and it's safe to walk to several local parks. Grounds are very well maintained and maintenance is outstanding. When my shower faucet broke, it was fixed within hours.

I can't say enough about the whole team working for Woodlands at Forbes Lake. Professional, friendly, attentive, caring. Complex is very clean and nice looking. The people who live here are very friendly. It feels like home. We are especially thankful to the Community Manager Mae Macy, Assistant Community Manager Kenia Alberdin and Maintenance Supervisor Victor Guerrero. All of them really helping us with our needs.

Finally! I'm at a place that feels like home. Both the Assistant Manager and the Property Manager are on top of it all. Especially, Carolyn -- she's extremely helpful and personable. My apartment is wonderful.....very well maintained, beautiful outside and really nice people. ....and very close to Totem Lake shopping and downtown Kirkland. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

We really lucked out finding these apartments for my mom. The assistant manager, Carolyn, helped us out tremendously. Without her, we couldn't have done it! She was efficient, prompt, professional, kind, and went WAAAY out of her way to help us move things along. Not everyone would have done that, and we are beyond grateful. The apartment itself is spectacular. It's quiet, in an excellent location, well maintained, and everyone we encountered was friendly. Logan, the maintenance manager was also prompt with responses, friendly, and responsive to any simple questions we had. Would highly recommend Woodlands at Forbes Lake!

This is a lovely, small, and friendly community. I aided a friend in moving here from Boston - a challenge in the best of times - during the Pandemic. From the beginning, Asst. Mgr. Carolyn Deeming was warm and responsive. She worked with us throughout a challenging situation from December to July (my friend postponed his move 6 months in order to be fully-vaccinated), and my friend was able to get a lovely apartment that met his need (due to a disability) to minimize the distance from the building entrance to his doorway. We cannot say enough about Carolyn's willingness to go the extra mile with us - even letting me do a video walk-through for my friend from the parking log to his apartment, stopping at all the complex's highlights (mail area, laundry rooms, common rooms, etc.).

I say this as someone who doesn't live there but visits a friend who does - the interior apartments are really cute and there's a cool fountain out back. The recreation area is really big and has a lot of tables, a group of us have easily spread out and done crafts. Bonus, they're dog friendly. Only downside is there is absolutely no parking for nonresidents. You have to park in the cul-de-sac.
