It’s was scary knowing we had to place our 90 year old mother in a nursing facility. Copper Ridge has been nothing short of exceptional. I’m totally impressed. If you’re nervous about placing a loved one, this is one of the good ones. Special thanks to Stephen Collins for being so kind when transporting my mother to her appointments and verifying the info with me.

Copper Ridge is such an incredible facility. My mother has resided there for over five years and they have been nothing short of amazing. They care about her needs, they watch over her constantly, they have each built relationships with her. She feels very safe there. We feel very safe as well. Ashley has been incredible, Noelle, April, Doctor Jason, Mia, Ramen, Karen, I hope I’m not forgetting anybody. But we have had the opportunity to get to know the employees, support, doctors and nurses. My mother loves it so much there, it’s hard for me to even get her to leave the facility for lunch. I am so forever grateful. I refer this facility hands-down, to any other facility around. They truly care about their residents and go above and beyond to make sure all of their needs are met. Very clean and welcoming to all.

I can only express my deepest gratitude to the entire wonderful team at Copper Ridge. My mother spent three weeks there recovering from the hospital, and her recovery was extraordinary thanks to the team of physical therapists, nursing staff, and assistants! They are all trained to do excellent work, with great dedication and love for what they do! The facilities are immaculate, clean, and smell wonderful at all times. Hallways, rooms, bathrooms”everything is in excellent condition. I recommend it 10000%! It's an excellent place for your loved one to receive the care they need and return home in excellent physical and mental condition! Thank you, Copper Ridge team! You will always be in my family's heart for being so excellent, dedicated, kind, and caring to my mother! May God always bless you.

My Medicare insurance brought me here for specialty care and rehab after ER and hospital care for broken ribs and fractured femur on replaced knee joint. Steve and Jimmy in Transportation have been excellent getting me here and sorting out several diagnostic appointments back to the hospital. Staff were very attentive to my immediate needs and very supportive and empathetic getting me settled in. Occupational and physical therapists daily worked with me to adapt to mobility aids and strengthen muscles needed in preparation to transfer home. Nurses, CNAs and doctors made sure that I had the professional care I needed. The only reason for not giving a 5 rating is a bad day three days on when staffing didn’t meet the work requirements of several new admissions and patients were left waiting for care. That seems to have been remedied with appropriate staffing modifications. I can definitely recommend Copper Ridge for rehab and specialty care today.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Copper Ridge. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my mother felt comfortable, safe and respected. The nursing team is attentive and compassionate, and the communication they had with my family was excellent. The facility was clean, welcoming, and well-organized. It truly feels like a place where people are cared for like family. I would highly recommend Copper Ridge to anyone look for high quality skilled nursing care.

Only getting 2 starts because of the few individuals who actually do care. My mom was here for 2 months. I constantly got texts from my mom saying they are neglecting her. She was left in a recliner for 8 hours unable to get up herself. She kept pushing the call button and told they couldn't help her at the moment. 8 hours later she was finally helped into bed. She was rudely woken every night by nurses coming in at 2 and 3am turning on her lights saying "you doing ok Deborah?" So inconsiderate to do to people in the middle of the night, if your going to check on them, you dont need to turn on the lights in the middle of the night! She had issues with sneezing and feeling sick there, we looked at the air vent in her room and cannot believe this is a medical facility with filters like this. Every time she paged a nurse they would come in and say "I'm taking care of something and I'll be back" but it would constantly be a hour or more until they came back. If my sister or I was visiting they would see us there and help her right away, but if she was alone she was stuck waiting. One morning she paged around 10am asking for her breakfast and was told "you were already offered and you refused so now you have to wait for lunch" my mom is mentally competent and would know if food was offered to her. Another incident was a nurse was helping her in bed, she put her hand on her injured hip and my mom said "NO dont touch me there" the nurse then pushed even harder and pulled her down onto the bed really hard. I'm sure there are more incidents that I cannot think of but only a couple of the nurses actually cared.

Some of them truly care, and some very clearly do not. The food is massively inconsistent! Some days good, some days absolutely horrible. There are some amazingly kind, and attentive individuals working, and I’ve received a few very unprofessional reactions to simple greetings. Should be better. The Standards of any business comes down to the standards of the Executive Team. Curious about what they know

After a week of hospitalization from breaking my back I came here. They have an unbelievably wonderful staff. They feed you on time and are curteous. You feel extremely safe and well taken care of. Their response time for help is much faster than even the ICU at Riverton Hospital. This is the perfect place to recover from an injury. I would come back no question! *****Absolute Yes!!!

We currently have my Mom here temporarily. She came here to recover from a short hospital stay and then after the first 30 days in the recovery rooms (the 100 hall) she moved to a new room with a room mate. (there are no single rooms for long term care) The first roommate situation didn’t work so they moved her. She has been there 4 months. Although the space is small she has enjoy going to all of the activities! The 2 activity ladies Terra and Jennifer are so great and walk around to get everyone who wants to come for each activity daily. The food always looks so good! They had a family Thanksgiving dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The staff have all been very good and nice, from the girls at the Front desk to the physical therapists, OT and Speech therapists to the CNA’s and Nurses. We have really like all the staff, all that we have come into contact with seem to be dedicated to their job. Yes there are a few that seem colder to us than others. (We realize though that they are busy! So busy helping residents- so we don’t expect all smiles and sunshine) But overall we have had a good experience with staff. They are very dog friendly- although she can’t have her dog over night, they love it when I bring her dog to visit and are willing to help take her potty if I leave the dog for a couple hours. They have had 2 different doggy parades around the building since we have been there too. At times we do have to really advocate for her and keep checking with each new shift that something they said they would do was done. However we are realizing that almost anywhere you have your loved one, you need to be there often to see how things are going and to advocate!! When she has gotten a UTI it has each time been a bit of a struggle for them to listen and get her on an antibiotic. (They have to contact the Dr. and get orders- this seemed to be the hold up we have had) However as soon as they do have the orders from the Dr. they get it done as soon as possible. It’s nice that when they need to really up her electrolytes and liquids or when they have to do a Catheter to get a urine sample, they can just do it and we don’t have to go to a hospital or Instacare to do that. That’s the benefit of skilled nursing facilities. I wanted to write this because when we chose it back in Oct. we were super nervous since we live very close and over the years little rumors spread about negative situations. But overall we have been pleased.

There is no such thing as a perfect facility. But I have to say that Copper Ridge comes with a dedicated staff across departments from the entry level employee to the facility director. I have personally witnessed how committed the staff at Copper Ridge are to ensuring that the residents receive the upmost of care provided in the industry. If any of my family members would ever require long term care or rehabilitation services Copper Ridge is the place that I would choose. Thank you everyone there for all your efforts in making a difference in the residents lives.

There are some lovely people who work hard at this facility, but overall I'd say they are trying to be sneaky about how they handle their rehab care at Copper Ridge. Do your research and don't let a hospital- especially Jordan Valley in an emergency- pressure you into going here. First, I understand no individual is going to fall into the same care category and wish they did too. We had some special circumstances and it seemed that unless we were actively present in the building the communication was horrible. They were supposed to have weekly care meetings and in the 5 weeks our loved one was there we had 2. I had to beg to get the few emails that I did and still never received some things in writing that I asked for. In the time my dad was there was there I didn't speak to the PA once. They avoided bathing and basic hygiene routines. His hair was never cleaned and they never bothered to bring him his tooth brush from the bathroom. He was not able to get there on his own and not cabable of asking for it. I had to make signs to remind staff about hearing aids. They dumped him at appts before being sure that family was there and without any pain meds to get him through 2-3 hour appts. Planning in general for anything was abrupt and at their whim. They never answer their phones and "forgot" about all the things I asked for in writing... especially the insurance info in writing. Then, when things weren't working to THEIR standards they stated insurance wouldn't cover him and asked if he we wanted to have medicaid pay to keep him there long term. Ironically, the same insurance information they came to me and told me I had a copay for when he was double insured. Something else to note: While I was there I tried working outside in their courtyard and couldn't because all the residents were outside smoking. There were cigarette ash/butts everywhere as well as the small area was so uncomfortable to sit. No matter where I sat, I breathed the smoke from the smokers. I don't think that would be a place to put my dad if he wanted to go outside and enjoy some sunshine. I know I didn't enjoy it out there at all. The pictures are misleading on their website. Be very careful here. They are used to doing things one way and one way only. They like their happy little path of people of who fit their 4 week rehab mold or who will stay long term on medicaid. They do not like extreme cases or patients who have extensive issues. They are also in bed with Jordan Valley Hospital who will immediately send you there and pretend like out of all the other options out there this is the best. This means you can't choose your follow up care or see your usual specialists. They make all your apps st Jordan Valley even if you have someone else you see already. Once we moved my dad I was surprised to see what options were out there and that other places with put mini fridges INSIDE patient rooms. They have tables and chairs so that we can have our conference calls in his room. Visitors dont just have to stand around. He can watch more than basic cable.

I had my mother in law admitted to Copper Ridge and I couldn’t recommend it more. Jordan Valley recommended for us to continue her care here and the admissions process could not have been smoother. Lindsay was the one who helped get my MIL admitted and the care and support she puts into making sure each of your individual concerns get addressed and makes sure you’re absolutely prepared for what’s to come. Injury to any family member can be so sudden and throw you for a loop and the reassurance that Lindsay provides through the process is so appreciated for in stressful times. My MIL really appreciated her stay here and we are so grateful for the progress she made. Can’t give enough thanks to the entire therapy department. The nurses are dedicated and made sure she was well taken care of. We especially appreciate Lauren and Helen. The continued support and care that the staff really made a difference in her recovery. Copper Ridge has definitely left a lovely impression on our hearts.

My Vietnam Veteran was sent here from the VA after being Septic. He needed Physical Therapy and time to recover. What a great Rehab Staff ! Lauren & Greg in OT really made a difference in his life. Micah in speech and memory work were so kind and considerate. The nursing staff were mostly wonderful. I can't say enough about their good care Brian, & Helen. The discharge planning on 08/30/2023 was nonexistent . We were notified on 8/24 of the pending date and the staff seemed to not know it was discharge time. The facility was clean. His room was clean and the maintenance worker was very responsive when needed. I never smelled anything disturbing. My husband thought the food was great. I would go back for care again.

My grandmother was sent here after being hospitalized for a blood clot in her lungs. She didn’t have a POA at the time and chose the place herself, which was so unfortunate. She was left unattended momentarily and fell flat on her face, with terrible bruising (also inflicted by meds). She also got covid-19 from staff. There were several other issues but because the director of the building addressed our concerns immediately, so I will give 2 stars for the one person who actually cares, unfortunately that person isn’t directly caring for patients or working from them. The rest of her health has been a domino effect since being there, I do NOT recommend.

I’m posting this for my Aunt Lulabelle Burgess who stayed after knee replacement surgery. She would rate this facility higher if possible. These are her words to me I want to express my gratitude to all the staff from cleaning, Physical Therapy, Nurses, and CNA I cannot tell you how good everyone has been to me. I feel like I have been in a resort instead a skilled nursing . I wouldn’t want to be in any other place if I need to have therapy this will be the place to come. now I would like to express my gratitude to all that made her stay so enjoyable.
