Being to this nursing home to do my customers nail, I was surprised how cleanness and comfort of this building. I need to pass a very rigorous security system that can lead me to my customer. Joining the time I doing my 93years old lady's nail, this lady name Deyarys came in to check my customer, she was so sweet and professional, we had very nice conversations. I'm sure this is the place that people can rely on.

I visited my family member recently and felt the need to write a review . I was highly impressed by the cleanliness, and how friendly the staff was. The physical therapy is working, I recommend this place to all.

I am very pleased with the care in this facility. Extremely clean, professional, and caring staff members with a very family oriented community. So happy to see how well my father was taken care of. I would especially like to thank Dee and the admissions team for being so informative and answering every question with no detail left behind.

Facility is very clean and well equipped. The staff at every level of care are professional, attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. The rooms are private and have individual bathrooms. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility for rehabilitation or nursing care.

My 94 year old Aunt M was admitted to the rehab about 10 days ago. Pretty much everyone there from admitting to therapists to social work to medical have been fabulous. She looks better and feels better than she has in at least 15 years . I wish she could stay there forever .

L was there for a few months, the care and service is great. The food is delicious. The staff are there for the patient's needs. The staff keep a family member updated with the care of the patients.

My dad Bob was just discharged after spending 5 weeks for short term rehab.Words cannot express the wonderful care he received here.The entire staff was caring, friendly, respectful and had such positive, upbeat attitudes. He left there stronger than he has been in a while. A special thank you to Elizabeth (his social worker, for always answering my questions), Benny and the 3rd floor staff, for taking such great care of him, and Arnold and Evan, his therapists as well as the entire therapy department. Thank you so much !!

I have wonderful memories of my mom living there. She was well taken care of and we all enjoyed visiting her there. We had many birthday parties, Easter, Thanksgiving and Xmas celebrations their with all the family present. I've even told my daughter when my times come this is the place I want to be. I would recommend Methodist Home to anyone. Thank you for taking care of my mom!

Good rehab facility

Over the past year and a half, both of my parents have done their rehab at Methodist. My mother had brain surgery and my father broke his leg. The rehab program for each was very different and Methodist worked with them perfectly. I was impressed with the care and attention they gave both my parents as well as the family. The staff was easy to talk to and communicate needs to. I hope I do not have to see my parents in hospital for a while, but if I do, it would be at Methodist!

This was my mom's second extended stay at Methodist Home Nursing and Rehabilitation and as the first time, everything was great. The staff was attentive, friendly and caring. I was able to relax knowing that when I wasn't there, my mom was in good hands.

After suffering a series of falls, my mother was hospitalized 3 months ago. Against my better judgement, I allowed her to choose a rehabilitation facility close to her home. Needless to say, the care and overall professionalism was horrific and my mother was prematurely discharged with little to no improvement. A week later, she was admitted to the hospital again, but this time I sent her to the Methodist Home upon discharge. She had been there 6 years prior for a similar incident, and I remembered how amazing the staff was. Jilian, CJ, Michelle and the rest of the team were so helpful to me in dealing with her care and insurance issues. Jilian even called after my mother was discharged to check in on her. This was such a far cry from the treatment my mother received from the for-profit facility. No help from the social worker or a follow up call. Undoubtedly, the money they rake in from the patients are going towards glitzy renovations throughout the building; mere lipstick on a pig, I say. Methodist Home is a beautiful, non-profit historic residence with private rooms in bucolic Riverdale. The staff truly cares for the patients and their families; it's not about fleecing pocketbooks. I highly recommend the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

my uncle landed here after 3 strokes. i seen him go from a robust healthy man to a non responsive skeleton . absolutely horrific, please avoid having strokes bu avoiding salt and eating healthy and of you have hypertension take your medicine to avoid ending up like my poor uncle. came in today and me and my mother cried seen in the terrible condition he is in

My mom has been there for a little over 2 yrs now. She Never wanted me to put her in a nursing home but to uncontrollable circumstances she had to go. Now she's so comfortable she doesn't want to leave. When you walk into a place that has "old folks" and it has no foul smell whatsoever at anytime, well you should know. This was my dad's third stay at Methodist for rehab. I've consistently been impressed by the kind, respectful staff and the positive manner in which they interact with the clients and their families. Every staff member who came into the room for whatever reason was pleasant, polite, and friendly. The grounds are lovely and when my dad is there I have every confidence that he's very well taken care of. As a temporary resident, my dad has also been consistently impressed with the level of care he has received. It's a small, intimate facility that is very well run and staffed with caring oeople.

We went on a tour of the facilities after they visited us at the hospital for our mom in law. The place was warm, friendly and professional. The director of marketing was extremely helpful. I have high hopes it all goes well with the admission process and rehabilitation.
