Michael Flores was incredibly helpful to my family. For several months he worked with myself and my children, guiding us through the unfathomable process of preparing my wife to transfer from living at home to a full care facility. Michael was willing and available to answer any questions that came up along the way. He was always quick to respond and handled our needs with care and generosity. Our family is grateful for the time, information , and comfort that Michael offered to my family during this difficult time.

My mom entered at the tail end of Covid and we had had excellent experience with another Atria. This was May of 2021. It was a Lovely facility but dealing with Covid challenges that also included some staffing challenges. Over the past year and a half, this facility has blossomed under the new direction of Lauren Palladino. The place has an energy as soon as you walk through the doors. Valerie and her staff are amazing with a choice of activities that would exhaust a young person. The guest artists are all top notch! From Bingo to ice cream socials to Exercise with Jerome to great movie choices 3x a day ( popcorn included!) to guest speakers, jewelry making and more, the staff is compassionate and like family.You can have a beautiful facility anywhere but in the end, it’s all about the people. I mentioned a few but honestly, they are all great. We, as a family are very happy. Our mom is very safe and happy too. Jenny and Priscilla Wallack

I was given a tour with Judy Forrest from the Atria. She is such a lovely person and took so much time showing us around. I got such a warm and cozy feeling from the Atria!! It is truly a lovely place filled with love and caring. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility. ♥️

I am happy and comfortable at the Atria. Particularly the past 18 months. 2019 pre-covid pandemic was great too! I love my apartment and the atmosphere here. I particularly love the peace and quiet and relaxed environment. As I write this, Im in my occupational therapy appt which I love and typing on my new Lenovo laptop Ideapad 3! At home, I never thought I could accomplish such a feat but the serenity here enabled me to concentrate and attend to many things. I am not here for memory issues although many of us cant recall what we had for breakfast yesterday! The activities are wonderful although there not many during the pandemic for safety reasons. I love the lectures re opera, art and had fun in the horticulture group around two years ago. Exercise classes were fun too and now they have resumed. Im a private person so during lockdowns I enjoyed the comfort of my beautiful one bedroom apt and got a lot of work done. Housekeeping is very good. We have an Engage Life Dept which makes life easier. Our current director seems to be great at what he does with a very kind demeanor. Hes been here around a year. I am also very happy with my residence relations counselor that has been very supportive of me. There is a nurse and LPNS on the premises but this is not a medical facility We have a new chef. Ive had some lovely meals. The food is good and times very good! The dining room is so pretty but there is also a meal program where food is brought to the apts. During the height of the pandemic all meals were brought to the apts. The menus have choices for the main course and sugar free desserts. There is a beautiful lobby and patio. We can have visitors. If you need extra help you may have private or agency aides here. Thumbs up to engage life including Valerie and Arnez. We have 24 hour concierge reception and they are very good. Like any community there is room for improvement in a few areas, but overall I am happy. For me, Atria is a blessing and has brought peace and security to my life. Peace and quiet juxtaposed against Henry Hudson Parkway, Riverdale, Bronx! This Manhattan gal is smiling! 😮 )

My best friend of 42 years is a thriving and active member of the Atria Riverdale Community. Following considerable research including reviews, professional referrals, etc., on March 11, 2021 the unanimous decision of friends and loved ones, Atria Riverdale was selected.Atria Riverdale received excellent recommendations from various personal friends who were familiar as visitors. The amenities are lovely. The setting is warm and comforting. The administrative staff are attentive and responsive to concerns, issues, recommendations, and requests.Atria Riverdale is genuinely an impressive community setting with diverse staff, services, residents, and activities. My friend and others refer to residents as neighbors. That serves to promote a sense of community; rather than institution. My friend has been a resident for less than two months, however, I fully anticipate that things will continue to progress in the best possible manner.We did our best to select the most appropriate setting, Atria Riverdale is definitely the right fit for my dearly loved friend. Five star rating requires more time. Further along I will follow-up up w-updated review. Look forward to five star rating...

I recently moved my mother across the country from Southern California to the Atria Riverdale after my fathers passing. I can honestly say that they care. Thank so much to the Atria Riverdale Staff, particularly Lissette, Natonya and Ann, for your amazing and conscientious as well as respectful care of my mother.Lissette, you and Natonya are truly appreciated. My brother and I are blessed to have such kind, thoughtful and truly wonderful people taking care of my mother, and I am sure the entire Atria family feels likewise.Bryant is also very kind and helpful and was great during the move in process and continues to assist on the month to month issues. You should feel comfortable moving your loved ones here!

We needed help with hooking up the DVD player for Irene and David was very kind enough to put his knowledge and effort in working it for us, fr the setting up, directions and he even provided us with new batteries! Not only that, he came back up to hand us the batteries and made sure its working before leaving the apartment. Very nice fellow, thank you so much again for all your effort, David!
