Golden West has been my home for 9+ years. Boulder Housing Partners is in the process of acquiring it, which has brought many smiles to the current community. The BHP team truly cares about the residents, and MJ Fimple is our new activity director, and is quite a force for good. Kudos MJBrittany Drach has been hired by BHP and is staying on here, and will continue helping residents as the Resident Service Coordinator. Great teams do great good

Hands down the best facility I've ever worked at and had the pleasure of experiencing before closure. The care the residents received was far above what you'd think a "low-income" facility could provide. This is such an amazing community, company and facility and I'm devastated that it's closing. I will forever look back on my time at GW with a smile and remember the incredible experiences and people. Thank you GW for being such a beacon in the community for so long. You will always be remembered fondly throughout Boulder and the community. I'm honored I had the privilege of working there for 3 years, the best place ever and I will miss it dearly. Thank you GW for the best job opportunity of my life and for the incredible family environment you all created. The residents were beyond incredible and inspiring people and they were always so happy and pleased with the care they received. The memories will live on in my heart forever and I feel truly blessed for all the time I had at such a wonderful place.

Fantastic low income residences in heart of Boulder. I'm so grateful to know there's Independent Living for seniors in Boulder w/o costing an arm and leg. Staff is great and helpful! Views are AMAZING. And, I enjoy interacting with the residents, who all seem very pleased with the newly renovated buildings, while I work w/individual clients.

The food has gone way downhill. It seems the chef is fine the cheapest of products it makes me wonder if he's siphoning at the top. Food is in edible. Actually for assisted living who is dependent on that food. If you have any you can forget it

Recently introduced to GW through some friends of ours. Great company! Working with Anthony Garcia on quoting a complete overhaul replacing AC, furnace and water heater together. They have been fantastic to work with and they even replaced our sprinkler vaccuum breaker in the meantime. Great price and top notch work. Their plumbers were very courteous and professional and worked so clean. Took time to answer all my questions and never made me feel silly for asking them! Highly recommended.

Okay place, better than some of the reviews state. I cosigned and paid the rent for my daughter to live here while she went to school at CU. The best part of this place is they do have enough parking so that was never an issue. Old-school 60's/70's style, hasn't been updated in exchange for less rent, no security cameras etc. Place wasn't very clean upon move in, cockroaches at one point. When moving out, I personally helped my daughter clean the place - it was immaculate! Very disappointed that they still took money out of deposit stating that the kitchen and bathroom were dirty which is an absolute lie. Disappointing way to end a lease after daughter being there for over two years. I'm a landlord, I would've been grateful to have my rental be as clean upon tenants moving out as this one was! Be sure to take pictures when you move in and move out!
