It's a nice retirement community, but they can be rude to their neighbors. I live in Huntington Manor, adjacent to Broadmead; been walking my little dog through their neighborhood recently (always on a leash, always cleaning up after him) and a few days ago a groundskeeper called me over and informed me I could no longer walk my dog -- "Rules" was his only reason. It seems quite un-neighborly and, speaking as a practicing Quaker, un-Quakerly. I asked if I could bring my dog when visiting my friends who live there at Broadmead, and the response was a direct "NO." It's disappointing. . As a post-script, I would like to assure all Broadmead dog-owners that they will always be welcome to walk their little buddies through our neighborhood. Peace!

My husband had open heart surgery and went to Broadmead for rehab. The staff were wonderful and still ask how he is going since being discharged. If I didnt like the care, I would have pulled him out and not let him stay in a place and then complain about it on the internet. Everyone has choices. Insurance dictates how long a patient can stay in rehab, not the facility. Patients families need to make sure all goes according to plan. Thank you Broadmead for getting my husband back on his feet.

Sadly, we finished clearing out my m-i-l's Apt. Broadmead is nicely appointed. Residents are all pleasant. Staff cordial. It's not perfect, but a lot better than other places I've heard about.

Very nice place. Kudos that they are trying to get all of their staff vaccinated. Minus one star because there is no way for pedestrians to safely cross the road to get to the nearby restaurants and shopping.

My friends sold their six BR and got a 2 BR condominium. They seem quite satisfied. The materials used are cheap, and the work done is just enough to make the facade resemble a nicely built home in a lovely country setting close to I-83. However, from what I've seen as a former mechanic, I hope the tenants don't expect to enjoy their lovely new home very long before it starts to fall apart and malfunction.

Fabulous rehab staff!! Maureen is in charge and she is so kind & compassionate with the old folks and their families. Social worker TJ is so helpful. Everyone understands what you are going through when a loved one needs rehab. Many of the techs are great, some need to find a new career if they can't find smiles for people who need them.

Great place for the elderly alot of activities additional support available in house if needed for them. good pay for nursing assistants in healthcare, management is approachable clean environmemt many options for meals for the residents and many activities to choose from for the residents

Mom has lived there independently for several years and now in Assited Living apartment. Beautiful grounds, caring staff, many Cultural activities and excellent food options made it an easy transition to an active senior community.

Went for the Barn Sale, which is a fun event where the residents sell their old things in a yardsale type scenario. Make sure you go on day one because by day two it's slim pickings!

My mother went to Broadmead for physical therapy after she was hospitalized. The property is beautiful and clean. My mom made a full recovery after a few weeks. She was very happy with her physical therapists and we both adored the social worker JT. We were very pleased with the experience.

I have attended several very nice afternoon concerts at Broadmead. I don't know anyone who lives there and I'm too young to live there now, but I would certainly recommend it and might live there myself someday.
