My friends and family ask, "how is your mom and how are you liking the center where she is?" Honestly, other than wishing Mom still lived on her own at home, we know Hidden Springs is the absolute best place she can be. The facility is home, it feels like home, smells like home, and the tremendous care and compassion she receives there could not be better! Placing our Mom in a facility due to dementia has been and is heartbreaking, but we have never worried about her care and our saving grace is knowing she is in the best place she can be. Our Mom is SAFE, she eats well, is safely taking her meds and participates in almost all of the activities, which is a lot! Thank you to the owners and the entire staff for all you do daily!

My family and I are very happy with the care and attention my Mother-in-law receives at Hidden Springs Senior Living. The Owner, nurses, aids, cooks, and front desk all seem to care about the residents and their quality of life. Communication has been very good as well. With advancing dementia we could not continue to take care of Mom at home; We are thankful that she is now in a pleasant environment where her needs are being met and she is doing well.

It is a blessing to be able to have my husband in assisted living where the location, facility, staff and amenities reflect the love and dedication of its founders, the Davison family, Vicki, Daryl & Aron. The facility is immaculately clean and full of light and space. Three distinct units address special levels of assistance and the staff are very caring. While a move to Hidden Springs was a difficult decision to make, the transition was as seamless as possible through the coordinated efforts of the Director of Marketing (Courtney North) and staff of Hidden Springs, Warren Memorial Hospital, the Veteran's Administration, and our family. At an emotionally stressful time, I felt supported by all. I highly recommend Hidden Springs as a multi-leveled assisted living facility. You will not be disappointed. My mother-in-law is a resident at Hidden Springs and it has been the biggest blessing to her and our family. Hidden Springs has compassionate, attentive staff; delivers high standards of care; and sits on top of a beautiful mountain with calming trees and wildlife all around. And so importantly, the owners are fabulous. They are involved and care about each of the residents; always extending kindness and truly taking the time to help each resident grow emotionally and physically stronger.

I recently had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life. My Mother was diagnosed with dementia, and was unable to take care of herself on her own any more. Not only that, but she was 1,300 miles away in Texas. I had no idea where to go, or how to access help for her here in Virginia. So I asked my friends and colleagues at my school. As teachers, we are experts in taking care of people, and I knew my teaching friends would have great recommendations. Every one of them with any kind of experience in elder care recommended Hidden Springs. Courtney, and the rest of the staff, had to work extra hard to make my Mom's transfer from a rehab facility to HSSL as smooth as it was. We have often become emotional together thinking of the condition Mom was in before to how meaningful her life is now!

I am grateful to have found Hidden Springs Senior Living for my elderly father. He is in assisted living there, and the care and support provided by the staff has been exceptional. The staff at Hidden Springs have been committed to ensuring my father's comfort, safety, and overall well-being from day one. Their professionalism and compassion have been very reassuring to our entire family. The facility itself is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. They take great pride in creating a comfortable and safe environment for their residents. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and common areas are inviting and thoughtfully designed to promote social interaction. The mountaintop setting is lovely, and Dad and I enjoy sitting out on the porch and looking at the view. What sets Hidden Springs apart is their dedicated and caring staff. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, addressing their unique needs and preferences. In terms of communication, they are excellent. They keep me updated on my father's health and are always open to answering questions or addressing concerns. I am grateful for the peace of mind Hidden Springs has provided during this challenging time. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone seeking the best care for a loved one.

The residents are respected and well cared-for, the setting is beautiful, the food is delicious and the entire staff could not be more helpful and caring. This place is amazing! I am so grateful for the extraordinary care my mother received. My mother has a particularly difficult case of Alzheimer's and everyone did everything possible for her. My mother has lived at HSSL on the Memory Care unit for more than three years. Everyone talks about how kind ALL the people who work here are, and it's true! The building is always clean and welcoming; the activities staff works creatively to keep residents engaged; the staff nurses and caregivers treat residents with compassion and dignity, and the on-call doctor and NP are top-notch providers. It seems that everyone who works here knows each resident's name. I rest easy at night knowing that Mama is so well-cared for, and that she is being treated like a valued member of a caring family.

From day one I was impressed with the facility. From the moment you walk in you notice a well lit, and clearly cared for facility that has an at home feel to it. My father moved into Hidden Springs in June after living by himself; he truly is thriving. The staff take great care of him, he gets three meals a day and they manage his medications. When he was living by himself, he often would have debilitating headaches. Since living at Hidden Springs, he has not had one headache. He takes advantage of all the activities and has enjoyed getting to know the other resident. Vicki and Daryl have created a warm and loving environment; I always enjoy visiting.

Our family had both sets of grandparents living at Hidden Springs at the same time. I always knew they were safe and well-taken care of. My mother even referred to Hidden Springs as her home. Daryl and Vicki are there everyday, they know what's going on in their community, and they do a great job of taking care of our family member as if she was their own.

It is a beautiful rancher type building out in the backyard of the national park. The residents are well taken care of by the staff and with plenty of activities to keep them busy. The supervisors work hard to help the employees grow in healthcare. Vicki and Daryl are awesome owners that participate with the residents. Im a frequent visitor here, and when I need extra care, I'm coming here! This is a home and a community, not an institutional setting. Daryl and Vicki love the people in their care and it shows in all they do. If I had a loved one who needed some extra care, this would be my first choice!
