My husband was a resident for a little over a month. He was unable to do anything for himself at that time. He received excellent care and was treated with utmost respect. They were very couteous to me as well and addressed all of my concerns very quickly.

Well my father was placed I'm the care of Salem when I was talent away from him and after I was no longer tp help he he declined felaster them I ever seen him deteriorate within dour mounth I was called to the office with a notify of his deaths which I never would have believe happen of they would have followed peotocall and had a person with him who know how to same him and honestly I believe I choked on his own mucus and wasn't helped in time to revive him The help he needed please looks into father's passing I was 100 pounds take ing rediculus amount of pain for him megare size good he didn't last 4 month there... please contact Me when you need get a chance.thanks Mitchell Brewer son, I Overton

I am so thankful I found Salem Woods for my brother. As i walked in the door, I was kindly met by Rita the receptionist. She was warm and wecolming. While waiting on the Addmission Director, i glanced around and noticed how clean and tidy everything looked/ There was a pleasant clean smell. if you are like me, there are thing you expect when choosing a nursing home..Then i was greeted by Liz the AD. Again, she was wecolming and kind. I had so many questions. she was so patient with me. while walking with her. Everyone we we passed nodded and smiled. From the head of housekeeping( Heather , her husband the maintence man and the nurses along the way. I have ask for help from the business manager, the social worker and the head nurse on my brothers unit Shelly! They have all been soo kind to me and especcially Shelly. She has gone beyond expectations in helping my brother Ken feel safe , secure and that this is home. He feels everyone there cares about him He says the food is good!! What a plus!!! I have worked at Salem for twelve years, I love it here and have no plans to leave. My own mother had a bad fall and was in hospital for a week. I brought my mother here for rehab and a week later my mother was home with us.

Salem Woods is such an incredible place. Great staff who have all been there a long time and enjoy caring for their residents. The building is clean and safe and the food is great 🙂 Tons of great activities and admissions are made easy. Highly recommend!

The Willow Unit there is full of amazingly caring people who have been lifesavers for the people I know on that unit! Can't say enough positive things about their attitudes, sensitivities, and willingness to go the extra miles for them!
