My husband was taken to Broad Creek for rehab after pneumonia and the flu left him totally weak. The staff was very kind to him and the food was good. The downside was a total lack of communication to me. It was 8 days before anyone contacted me or discussed how he was doing and plans for rehab. Requests to have rehab or social services contact me went unheeded. They claimed he had physical, speech and occupational therapy daily, but I never saw anyone work with him other then the speech therapist. On Fridays everyone was gone and no therapy on weekends. I figured he had maybe 8 days of therapy out of 14 days. After we were told he was ready to go home, I heard nothing from them for days. After 4 days I asked that he be released and was told he had to stay until the insurance company told them they would no longer pay! So they kept him over the weekend, with no therapy given (But they got paid for 2 more days). When he was released, I was given a prescription slip that said Outpatient pt/st. They did not set it up or give any kind of report to the outpatient facility on his condition or needs so they knew what he needed and what had been done with him. I have dealt with other care facilities and was not at all impressed with Broad Creek other than the kindness of staff and their cuisin

My mom has been at Broad Creek now for 4 months. After scouting out numerous places, my family and mother couldn't be more impressed with this facility. First, a must mention, Jessica and Samantha (admissions/case care) are absolutely wonderful, caring people. They are always around, interacting with the patients and patients family. It's obvious that they truly care about their jobs and your family. The nursing staff and therapists are motivating, caring and very interactive with the patients. Emily and Sara have been so accommodating to my mom; there are so many people to mention, the list goes on and on. We knew there were a lot of choices, but I can share that the socialization that is encouraged here is second to none. Tom, who coordinates activities and events is a rock star. My mom never joined in any activities, with Tom, she is at every event from trivia, to bingo, family feud, you name it. I care for my mom, and 100% I would send her here again, or feel 100% happy if she made it home, because I know they truly do care for her wellbeing. Oh wait, Did I mention the food is good too! I am not a person that is easily impressed, this place impresses me. No issues=happy family.

My mother was discharged yesterday and we cannot say enough good things! Her care was excellent and we would especially like to thank her nurses, in particular Emily and Sarah, and her CNA Brenda for their compassionate care! The social worker Samantha was an excellent advocate and went above and beyond to ensure my mother received wonderful care by all.

The finest of many options in our area, Broad Creek's facilities, outstanding staff, positive attitude and professional assistance is more than first rate - we were so pleased with their in-patient care and now ongoing support. My father, Dr. Leon Liverett, has been at Broad Creek for several years, having been a resident at TidePointe since they first opened. We are thrilled with the care that he has received. The entertainment, the planned activities, the physical therapy and exercise programs, the marvelous food with an exceptional chef, and especially the care are all A plus. The staff is excellent.

My husband was a resident at BCCC for almost 2 years, and each and every one of those days the staff showed such compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for him. He was so happy at BCCC, and he considered it "home". I, too, thought of everyone at BC as family, and it was always a pleasure to arrive and be greeted warmly by the receptionists and any staff member who I might encounter in the lobby or halls. My husband was in both skilled nursing and assisted living, and the attention to his needs was always superb. And, anytime a nurse needed to call me, including the morning he died, they were professional and full of empathy. I have had a totally positive experience....the quality of care, Dr. Hall, the nursing staff and their assistants, the attractively presented meals ( and just the right amount), the lovely ambiance that is kept spotless daily,the friendly atmosphere, the very diligent and productive therapies, both physical and occupational, the welcoming atmosphere to my family and friends....For me it has been a vacation.... Except for one thing....a battered leg which I have no doubt will be fixed when I leave this very special place!!

My Fathers recent experience at Broad Creek Care Center was a positive one. From the start of his intake, everyone from admissions to the doctor/nursing/therapy staff, were superb, kind and welcoming. His daily needs were tended to on a timely basis and the food was very good.

We are thankful for the staff at Broad Creek. My mother lives in assisted living and is well cared for by friendly, professional people. Having medication managed daily, nutritious meals and multiple weekly activities for socialization has allowed her to improve greatly from living independently. As her daughter, I can rest assured that she's safe and in the best environment for her well being. We also had positive experience with the skilled nursing unit at Broad Creek last fall as mom broke a hip and she stayed there to recover and rehab. They were excellent. I would recommend them for your loved ones.

Our father moved from independent living to skilled nursing at Broad Creek. It was quite an adjustment for all. The staff at Broad Creek have been receptive of our requests in his care. The social worker, therapists, nurses and CNAs are coordinating his care for him to succeed and hopefully regain his independence. Jessica in Admissions has been a huge a resource throughout our experience!

Our father moved to Broad Creek in December. We have been very impressed with the quality of the staff and the care. They really have made the effort to learn about him and his needs. We are grateful to know he's being looked after by qualified and caring people. Also, I notice that the staff just generally seem happy to be doing what they do. I think this must be a rare thing in elder care. Highly recommend.

We experienced the warm and professional services of Broad Creek Care Center recently when our Dad, a Tide Pointe resident, required rehab and skilled nursing. Each and every staff member in every department was kind, friendly, responsive and very helpful. We want to extend sincere and special thanks to RNs Sarah, Emily and Nena, CNAs Gwen, Dequota, Tina and Lavanya who were all so caring, competent and encouraging to our dad and to us family members attending him. The therapists in Dad's case also deserve recognition and thanks too for restoring his confidence and stamina. They were so patient with Dad whenever his willingness flagged. Special mention goes to Devon, Jordan, Holly and James. On the administrative level, both Jessica Bigos and Samantha Perkowski, LMSW were able to gracefully and professionally handle our many questions on so many topics as we struggled to cope and manage Dad's medical crisis. Their assistance was and continues to be invaluable. We were very satisfied and recommend the facility even as we hope Dad does not ever need a second stay. But such is life....we know where to turn. Our sincere thanks to all of you!

My grandma was put here when she was moved from her house, and is back again after some health issues. Seems like they treat her well. She complains but she complains about everything, but haven't seen any signs of malpractice or abuse here.
