I want to Thank AHC for their excellent service to me during my Rehab there. Special mention to my Rns June, Cujo, Kathy & Comfort. Nurse Assistants Bridgette and Cam gave me special attention to the meals I was so limited that exchanging a cup of coffee for tea meant everything when you don't have a choice of food to eat. Cam did wash my hair after my trip to the hospital and being sick . She worked with my matted hair like a pro. She doesn't want it known. Lol. I want to send flowers to them all including my great Housekeepers.

Today was the first day I went to this place to see my wife she was just admitted there. I was very impressed. The rooms are more like home with end tables and lamps. And even a dresser. When I first walked in I went to the front desk to find out her room number. A man overheard me saying her name on address so he introduced himself and took me to her room. He was her physical therapist. I watched as he did his job and explained everything he was doing for her. He even said he would bring his little dog in to visit her as she is badly missing her own at home . In my opinion, this place rocks ! ...

I cannot say enough about this facility. My father came there in September. He is no longer at this facility. He's home, praise God. I just would like to thank the staff. The admissions director Melissa and they had an aide that was just phenomenal. Her name is Bridget.I would like to say thank you. You know when you have to leave your loved 1 in 1 of these facilities, you don't know exactly what you're going to receive. Wow! Smh I'm not gonna say it's all bad but it does need a lot of getting it together. Food service I didn't eat a few times. I don't eat pork so they just didn't give me a substitute or anything. Proportions was very small I went to bed hungry a few times. I did take pictures also. Took forever to get your meds I was in a lot of pain a lot of pain. I felt as though basically they kicked me out as well. The holiday King they have a big grill outside I would have thought they would at least gave the residents hot dogs hamburgers for memorial Day. We had a egg salad sandwich a handful of chips and a fruit cup.

I had a wonderful time staying with these caring people. I made some new friends and some of the people, Becky Tuchek, provided me with great support when I would get depressed. Therapists are really encouraging and reallly great to work around their positive attitudes. It can really be hard to keep a positive attitude when you are in pain and discouraged with your progress in therapy. As a whole I could not have had a better experience! Thank you to all the employees who work there!!

I came in on Saturday with a fractured arm. I cannot believe how quickly i was attended to. Everyone has been so nice, I was seen by therapy the next morning. The director of nursing stops in just to check on things, she helped braid my hair and is so friendly and caring. This place is the best when you are scared and hurt and Austintown healthcare team makes me feel right at home and eases my anxiety. My room is huge and beautiful. I am so happy I came here. Would highly recommend.

Austintown healthcare is a very nice place for physical therapy. The therapists Brad and Gale are very personable and very good at what they do. The lead daytime nurse Megan is also very personable and she is also very good at her job. Very nice staff all the way around. Needed social worker Brandy to make the transition to home with a bunch of equipment i needed along with home healthcare. She worked diligently to get me home with everything I needed to make going home as easy as possible. Thank you all for getting me ready to go home.

Recently, I had my father transferred from another care facility to Austintown Healthcare Center. My first impression when I entered the facility was how clean it was and how friendly the staff were. I spoke with Melissa, who is the admissions director, and she was amazing. She was friendly, courteous and very professional with my questions and concerns about my father’s care. His room was clean and well kept and the facility offers the option for family to do the patients laundry, which I opted for. The RN’s, the nurses assistants, the physical therapy staff are very professional and helpful with the patients and family members who may have questions regarding patient care and therapy progress. I’m blessed that AHC is less than 10 minutes from my residence, which allows me to visit my father throughout various times of the day. In short, I sleep better at night knowing my father is receiving quality care from such a wonderful caring facility. I hope this review is helpful as I am speaking from the heart. This is Leslie writing this. I accidentally opened my wife's account. My stay there was at the time I needed a little help. The staff there were very knowledgeable and very kind. A young man came into my room and said it is time for you to have a bath. He didn't have to do that but he did. I will always be grateful to him. The therapist were amazing. The driver to dialysis was great. He talked to me a lot when he picked me up. He knew i wasn't was not feeling good. I appreciated his kindness. Your call was very sweet. Thank you to you all.

I was placed in AHC after surgery. The experience was much better than I anticipated. The care I received personally and saw provided to other residens, was wonderful. The day nursing staff and aide staff provided exceptional care and empathy to each and every person they worked with. Bridgett, Darlene, Dani, Jose and Patsy were the absolute best and my favorites! The night staff, Nurses Tina and Lisa and aides, Judy, Amy and Cam were the best!! Physical Therapy staff, Pete and Stephanie were very professional and provided great assistance. The most professional, caring and personable facility for rehab.

My father was a patient at Austintown Healthcare for 5 months. He was 94 years old and had falls at home and a couple hospital stays. He needed rehab to get a chance to return home with his wife. The entire staff of nurses, aides, therapists and even the administration took great interest in him care and made him feel like he was a home more than a facility. He had his favorites that took care of him and that made his stay at Austintown much easier as he had never been away from his wife of 70 plus years. When family visited him the staff was always so kind and caring to us. They really looked out for my mom. My father was a tough patient at times but this never bothered the staff and they always gave him excellent care. He enjoyed his showers and his therapy. He would tell me stories about the aides as they would always have him ready for a visit and they never forgot to have him up and dressed to watch The Ohio state football games. He never missed a game. He did get his rehab and returned home for a while until he returned to Austintown Healthcare center. This time he was much sicker and would never go home and eventually passed away. When he was at the hospital, he would tell me to get him back home. Home to him now was Austintown healthcare where his family of cares givers were his was of living as he could do less and less until his passing. The employees of Austintown healthcare center make it a 5 star facility just as their rating shows. Thank you for taking excellent care of my father.

The rehab staff and nurses and nurses aides are all very good at what they do. The nurse practitioner and wound care nurse practitioner are very on top of things and easy to get a hold of and speak to for updates. There is a great group of staff there who really try to do a good job. All departments are willing to answer questions and update me frequently. I was recommended to try here for my moms rehab, and they are definitely living up to the good things I had heard about them!

I would like to comment on how caring and friendly the Austintown staff are to our residents. The nursing team cares about the health and safety for the residents. The dietary department provides nourishing meals and snacks. The Activity department keeps the residents entertained and busy. The housekeeping department continues to clean to prevent illness. The management team is present and ready to help at all hours. Austintown Health Care is a great place and the star rating shows that. If you have a loved one in need of nursing care or rehab services then this is the place. Thank you Austintown.

The nurses are acceptional. The Center is smaller and I think they are able to give better care to patients. Giving a shout out to nurse Darlene & aid Bridget. You couldn't ask for better care. When a patient puts their light on for assistance they respond quickly. If something happens to my loved one again I would absolutely return to Austintown Healthcare. Not happy with care and communication. Monica was fabulous but ended up moving my aunt back to her previous facility because she kept telling me she was scared and they didn't know how to take care of her. The last straw was when they dropped her and she ended up with a broken leg that wasn't diagnosed until she got back to her previous facility.
