My mother lived in the independent living community for about 11 years. She was very happy there until it became Oxford Enanced living. The rennovations that were done unfortunately are not the taste of older residents, and appeal more to the millenal age group. It is very pricey and not at all homey. The wicker furniture was part of that feeling of home, cozy and clean. Now its more like a hotel. They took the card room at the front to make a bistro complete with high top marble table which very few residets with mobility issues can even use. The food is for the most part borders on ugh! Food is often served lukewarm or cold and is tasteless. Its a step or two below when Attleboro owned the facility. My mother was not very happy there for the last 2 or so years. A sad ending to an otherwise beautiful full life. There are numerous issues. that need to be corrected there. If a resident falls the facility depends on amblulance crew to pick them up. After 5:00 its like a ghost town once dinner is over. My mother has lost her balance and has fallen at least 3 times in the past 5 years and most of those times they depended on family to assist my mother in getting up. If family is not available they call the ambulance which is a considerable expense to the resident. The rent is quite steep and I feel she did not get value for her money. I have been to several other facilities and to be fair they have some of the same issues. Its just a big change for the residents who have been there a long time. The icing on the cake is the complete lack of caraing on the part of the corporation that owns it just doesnt care for the comfort and happiness of the residents. Its just a busisness to them and that is keeenly ferlt by yhr folks that live there. Make sure you get to taqste the food before you sign on the dotted line.

As a Real Estate agent who specializes in helping Seniors transition to senior living communities, I've seen and worked with many different communities. Oxford updating their facility beautifully, and the staff is not only professional, but thoughtful and caring of their residents - a really wonderful combination!

I recently visited Oxford Enhanced Senior Living I was so impressed with the beautiful, updated facility. The staff was so friendly, and the grounds are very peaceful. The independent living apartment are spacious and well equipped. A giant party was being planned with a flapper theme for the day after my visit, the residences were excited for this special event. Corey Ann Compa is the senior living liaison such a warm, lovely and kind person to work with our loved ones!

Impressive, Beautiful and well maintained. Enhanced Independent Senior Living, if you are living here you have $. Upon entering you are greeted at Hospitality desk, walking the spacious hallways, you'll see men and women in small groups in different game rooms playing cards, Rummicube, having conversation or enjoying a book. There is a full dining room where dinner is served every night ( unless you prefer to have delivered to your apartment), a full beauty salon an auditorium which boasts weekly events and entrainment. There are so many amenities not to mention the beautiful large modern apartments with biweekly housekeepers....I could go on and on but you'll have to see for yourself.

I toured Oxford yesterday and had lunch and was so very impressed with the community! The food was outstanding, and every staff member that I met (and there were many) were warm and personable and ready to assist. I look forward to growing my relationship with them and this outstanding community.

I wouldn't want to end up here. It's run-down, crowded, and looks really uncomfortable. The very few and very small lounges have cheap furniture. I've seen worse, but I've also seen much nicer nursing homes.
