Typical of our nation's for profit healthcare system. Overpriced, severely understaffed with 100% chance your family member will be neglected or abused. The staff is great but being so short staff on a continuous basis hurts thr patients and is exploitive of the worker. This place is just a dressed up, second rate nursing home for people who can not speak for themselves.

Both of my parents were in their nineties, suffered from dementia, and did not want to leave heir home. When my mother suffered a stroke my sister and I could not care for her and our father was was incompetent and needed 24/7 supervision. The staff at Silverado helped us get both of them out of their home and into safe and caring environment at Silverado Belmont. They assessed our parents condition and we're able to manage them with proper medication and supervision! I don' know what we would have done without the assistance and support of the Silverado Belmont staff!

Beautiful place to have your elderly loved ones spend their golden years. Not just any "Old Folks" home! They really care! Especially concentrated on are "memory" and mental health as well! While being cared for in the most exquisite way, constant learning and research is also conducted! First class place, iSight next to wonderful greenery and trees, and lots of little or larger projects and hobbies are constantly being presented and available, often for family members to part take! Karaoke night is always a favorite. And nurses and Doctors always on duty! Yes, it's not the cheapest of places, actually the price isn't something that everyone could probably afford, but worth every penny! The food is delicious, fresh, served in a wonderful lovely hall that won't remind you of an institution. Family members are always welcome during visiting hours. They just treat their "tenants " and "patients" just like family. My friends grandmother found a wonderful happy home! And we wish her and everyone well! We need more places like this, where everyone is so helpful and super friendly!!!

I recently had been witnesses to one of the most caring and most lovable invironment a Senior citizen could possibly be resident of. As we all get older, it is good to know, that there are still places that will treat their patients/ residents just like family, and even though I myself di not have a family member currently residing in one of those, a friend of mine has an elderly aunt, we visited,strictly enforced by all safety measures acording to COVID 19 guidelines of course! The staff and employees have a smile and a positive, bright aura about them, are extremely patient professionals and glad to answer any questions a caring family member might have. We spend about an hour there and left shortly before meal time. It smelled so good, we almost wanted to stay and join the group! Plenty if curricular activities and one in one care, for those with memory issues, wether mild or advanced, as Silverado Belmont Hills Memory care is specialist in successfully! The grounds are surrounded by luscious greens right near the Twin Pines wonderful park, we even got to see some deers stroking up the hill! I was really impressed, as my friend had already spoken highly of this facility. I sure hope to be so lucky some day, to be placed at a wonderful home such as this one! Everyone is cared for, no one ignored, and medical attention is always available of course! What a great day the 3 of us had! Her aunt, now residing there for about a year, smiled a lot as she told us about her days and ended it with a joke she headed from one of the staff members! Plenty of parking, easily accessible and super clean without getting the feeling of it being an institution or being not wanted/ forgotten! To the contrary! Very nice people! All thumbs up and 5 STARS !!!!

I have had great success in referring my challenging cases to Silverado. This means dementia patients with behavioral issues. Silverado's staff is well trained to handle these challenging cases. The grounds are beautiful, spacious and safe for those clients who like to wander. The neighborhoods are tailored to the level of care needed so clients find themselves among like clients. I highly recommend Silverado for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

I have referred many of my clients to Silverado. I do it because 1) I know the staff is first-class so my families will be taken care of 2) I have learned about how they are always trying to stay ahead in the research and applying the latest findings to their care and 3) I have been there so many times and have witnessed first-hand what a difference their open space environment means to people with dementia. This is an ALL memory care community and there are lots of open spaces (and chickens!), pets, and activities to engage and nurture our seniors. If you have never visited Silverado, my recommendation is that you visit once so that you know how different this is from all the other communities out there. I would want a place like this for my parents. Wonderful job, team!

Both being advocates for the quality of life of their residents but also in their support and education for the families involved. Between the excellent team, their ongoing specialized programming, the beautiful grounds with room to roam, all the way to the very special and oh so sweet rescue dogs this is a lovely place to be both for those living with dementia and their extended support networks.
