My Dad’s health has been a challenge for the past 3 1/2 years and my Mom has been struggling to take care of him. Although they didn’t want to lose their “independence”, we felt it was the best thing for them both to move into this facility. We looked at many facilities in the area, and we felt the Oaks at Post Road would provide the best atmosphere by far to any facility we toured, so we moved them into the Oaks at Post Road in early March. We can’t say enough about the people who run this facility. Doug Nestlehutt, the Executive Director of the facility is very accommodating and has selected a great staff who really cares about the residents. Angie Hatzileris is the Community Relations Director and she was instrumental in helping us get my parents into the apartment that would best meet their financial picture & physical needs. Sam Cavrk, the Maintenance Director allowed us access to the apartment early and made sure all the minor modifications we requested were completed very quickly so that we could get things staged before my parents moved in. Last, but not least, Jennifer Zwolinski, the Lifestyle Director is a lovely person who met my parents to understand their needs and has been encouraging them to join in the group activities she has planned. I have been witnessing her work over the last several weeks as she continually matches residents up with activities and similar interests so that they can form friendships and feel that they’re part of their community. As a result, the transition to this new way of living has been a lot easier than we thought it would be. We would recommend this facility to anyone who has older parents who need a little extra care.

My mom is a resident of the Oaks on Post Road. She has been there for two years and it has been a great place for her to be. She has friends to be with and talk to. She loves to play the piano and Jennifer and the staff urge her to play. Which is exercise for her memory since she has dementia. The staff is always kind and helpful and I love each and everyone of them. They work very hard. Other things, my mother loves are the activities, especially the Bible study, doing art, music, the movement classes, and playing games, bingo in particular. There Seems to be always something going on to keep them busy. Which is just a great thing because they need the community and the activities For their mind and just creating a happy atmosphere. I just want to thank all the Staff that work there.

Six weeks ago, our family made the incredibly difficult decision to move my mom into The Oaks at Post Road after a year of trying to meet her needs at home. We toured many facilities, but from the very first visit, The Oaks just felt different. Jennifer, the Activities Director, met us on a Saturday to give us a tour. We later learned it was actually her day off”she had come in to prepare activities for the residents that week. That moment spoke volumes, and since then, she has continued to exceed every expectation. Jennifer knows every resident by name and creates meaningful, engaging activities each day. My mom, who has never been particularly social, now looks forward to participating every morning and afternoon. It’s been incredible to watch her come alive again. One of the things we love most is how welcoming The Oaks is to families. Our two daughters love visiting their Mimi because there is always something fun happening”crafts, bingo, snacks, or even planting flowers outside. It has turned visits into joyful experiences for all of us. We also notice, every single time we visit, that each staff member is actively engaging with residents and meeting their needs. That consistency and level of care is something you don’t always find, and it brings our family so much peace. Seeing my mom truly thrive has been such a gift. Her smile is bigger than it has been in years. We are also so grateful for Eve, one of the nurses, who is simply exceptional. Before coming to The Oaks, my mom had many hospital stays, and we have never experienced the level of care and genuine love that Eve provides. She knows all 14 members of our family by name and always takes the time to update us when we visit. Her compassion and attention to detail are unmatched. Moving a loved one into assisted living is never easy, but The Oaks at Post Road has made that transition feel right. It truly feels like home”not just for the residents, but for their families as well. We are beyond thankful.

My oldest sister lives here and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. They are constantly updating the facility to look even nicer and the staff Jennifer Zwolinski and Angie Hatzileris are awesome, very cordial yet professional. They are always reachable and open to requests. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing assisted-living or memory care support.

If I could leave a 10 star review, I would! Moved Mom in 3 days ago and every aspect of the experience has exceeded expectations! Personnel from the top down are extraordinary! Management Doug, Angie, Jennifer Caregivers Kay, Chiquita, Debbie Med Tech Eve Head Chef Trivita and even housekeeper Cindy are ALL exceptional!! God’s Grace shines through the care here. They truly care for each resident and serve with Faith, Knowledge, Compassion and Love! So grateful God led us here for Mom to thrive under their care!

My grandmother has been living here for the past year, and I can honestly say we’ve seen such a positive transformation”especially with the new management in place. The leadership team has truly made a difference in creating a welcoming, well-organized, and supportive environment for both residents and their families. What stands out the most is the staff. Have passed by there several times and stopped in to see if the community would be a good fit for my mother. The residents were smiling and happy and the community was very nice inside. The marketing person gave me a tour and she was very friendly and helpful. Oaks is definitely at the top of my list at this point.

I recently toward the facility, as we are currently looking for a good place for my father-in-law. Angie was amazing! The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. It just felt so warm and inviting, which is what we are looking for. The residents were all smiling and seemed very happy and content. They were talking with one another and busy doing an activity. We've toured A LOT of places so far and as of right now, this is TOP on our list! I think it's a very good probability that this is the place we will choose for dad. Definitely recommend calling and setting up a tour for this place, if you're currently looking for something for a parent or elderly relative. 🙂

I recently visited The Oaks to visit a friend’s elderly aunt and was genuinely impressed. The facility was very clean and felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. Jennifer was especially kind and made our visit easy and comfortable. We didn’t know where to go, and Jennifer was kind enough to help guide us and even filled us in on some fun things she has planned for the residents. Everyone we encountered was friendly and professional, and it was clear the residents are well cared for and respected.

I just left The Oaks At Post Road after visiting a friends son who is in memory care. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and beauty of the facility, but the real stars are the staff. Everyone is welcoming with a smile. They know and truly care about their residents. Several lady residents proudly showed me their polished nails and new hairstyles. There was a pianist there before we arrived and guests were enjoying story time when I left. I’m so happy my friend found The Oaks for her son. I’m totally impressed and I’ve been to many facilities.

We moved my dad into the Oaks 3 weeks ago. I thought he would be kicking and screaming to leave but it was quite the opposite. He was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia around 3 years ago and it became to hard for my mom to continue to care for him at home. The Oaks staff welcomed him with open arms and has provided top notch care since the first day he arrived. The entire staff is very caring and treat my dad like there own family member. I live 2 states away and it is very comforting knowing that my dad has the around the clock care he needs between my visits to see him.

Beautifully remodeled facility, clean, well lit and cheerful. All the employees we met were smiling and friendly. Angie took us on a tour. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Residents we spoke with all seemed very happy here.

My mom was here for over 12 years. She loved the community, people and staff. They had some turn over for awhile but now the new director Jacque us fabulous and the community is back in track! The Oaks has recently been updated and is so beautiful. What a great place to put your loved one 🙂

We moved my mother into Oaks at Post Road last week. This was a move from Michigan that required a 12 hour drive with my 89 year old mother. From our first visit to the Oaks, Lynn Stromwall, Community Relations Director, has been a wonderful help in making this move happen. As the move date approached we needed to get paperwork completed by her doctors and of course the Covid 19 test. Lynn was a great help and was there for us all the way. While we are still in contact with Lynn we have met many other members of the staff and all have been wonderful to work with. We are very happy to have my mother living at the Oaks. It is a very nice Senior Living facility with all the care available my mother needs.

My parents moved to the oaks the day before the pandemic shut down. My dad passed away 2 weeks later. This pandemic has been aweful for our mother having lost her husband and now cannot touch or hug her kids and for months could not even see us. She was use to our visits 3 times per week. The Oaks family has taken such wonderful care of her. Making sure she has gotten involved and made friends. I can not even imagine what it would have been like if we had not moved them when we did. I just love all of them.

My mother has been a resident at The Oaks for 1 1/2 years. She loves her new home. The staff are very supportive and kind to her, and they are in immediate contact with us, her family, should they have any concerns. She enjoys the salon and looks forward to having her hair done every week and the concerts that occur almost daily.

My mother is 98 years old and had been living successfully on her own until she fell in January of this year. She could no longer live on her own and although we had discussed this scenario the actuality of what was next was daunting to us both. The Oaks at Post Road has been wonderful. Keith, Kenneth, the staff, I wish I could name them all, they have made my mother feel welcome and involved in life again. She's happy, healthy and well cared for.

My mother has been a resident here for quite some time. She plays group games, participates in craft activities, listens to live music, goes on field trips, gets her hair done at the onsite salon and participates in a whole host of other events. She has made many friends with the residents, caregivers and management. The staff takes very, very good care of her and makes her feel special. For me, I have peace of mind knowing she is under expert care and is treated as an individual with unique needs and sensitive feelings. This is the place to trust the care of your family member!!
