I had an excellent experience dealing with Renee and Lalita when I was looking for a retirement home for my mother. During the tour Renee was very helpful in providing us with all the information about their facilities. From the tour, I can tell the residents were happy and well taken care of. From dealing with both Renee and Lalita, it is obvious they both are passionate about what they do and they really care about the well being of the residents.

Putting a love one in a senior living is always a stressful decision but Sunrise at Richmond Hill makes it so seamless and stress free. I can't thank enough the whole amazing team: Salome, Jacqueline, Michael in management. Farhang and Irum and Simmi were absolutely fantastic individuals. They have saved my Dad's life once and extending his longevity to the impossible. The room is always clean and each support worker is always kind and lovely. I am grateful and feel blessed to have chosen Sunrise at Richmond Hill.

Sunrise at this location is so amazing. I did my college student placement for social work here. The residents are so sweet; I learned so much during my time. The staff does such a fantastic job with the residents; they do such great work to keep things running smoothly and making the residents happy. I loved that they had activities and entertainment for the residents every day; I think it really helps for the mind, body, and soul and the residents do look forward to it. It really takes a team, and I saw nothing but teamwork here. It was so admirable. The residents I spoke with always had such nice things to say about how they're cared for. I honestly didn't hear one bad complaint from any of them. Sunrise is definitely a place I would feel comfortable having my family because I know they will always be in good hands. I hope they continue with the great work they have been doing.

My mom lived very comfortably at Sunrise of Richmond Hill from fall 2021 to fall 2023. We found the facility clean, pleasant and well-organized, and the staff — from the front desk right through to the back office — cheerful and courteous. The nursing team and care coordinators were proactive in keeping us up to date on my mom's wellness, and the care team on the memory care floor showed genuine kindness and fondness for her. Sunrise provided a range of activities for her to engage in according to her ability, which we always felt welcome to participate in during our visits. We were very happy with our decision to make Sunrise Mom's home.

We are very happy with the care our parents receive at Sunrise of Richmond Hill. The staff really care about the well-being of our parents. They are dedicated, kind, compassionate, loving, and do their best to help improve the quality of life for each resident. I'm writing this review on the 1 year anniversary of moving my mom to Sunrise Richmond Hill. I'm very pleased with all aspects of the community and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent level of care in a supportive, family like environment. I had to move my mom from Ottawa to GTA based on declining health issues. I toured over a dozen retirement communities in Toronto, where I live, and had not found the right fit for mom so began looking outside the city. It was pretty stressful at the time to make such a big decision on someone else's behalf. Right away when I walked into Sunrise Richmond Hill I could see my mom living there. It was smaller and homier feeling that other places I had toured. And the staff were friendly, smiling and happy which I also didn't see in some of the other places I toured. One of my objectives was to find a home that could address mom's current care needs and accommodate future changes through to palliative care, should that be needed. Within the last year, moms mobility has declined and the Sunrise team has been very helpful and proactive in coming up with solutions. My mom loves living at Sunrise Richmond Hill where she feels safe and well cared for. The care team & nursing team are amazing and have been very responsive and communicate well with me on all issues. I truly feel it's a partnership with my mom's best interest and wellness at the center of it. While the cost is on the higher end, the assessment was accurate for the care level needed and there have been no attempts to up-sell to increase costs. I appreciate the fixed cost for care. One of the places I was looking at in Toronto provided a set number of care minutes per day and charged extra per minute if more time was needed. Sunrise has a full roster of activities that my mom enjoys. They have live music / entertainment in on a weekly basis. Mom also quite likes the food. The soup, in particular, is often mentioned by her and other residents ... seniors do like their soup! The Sunrise kitchen team also makes texture accommodations for mom's swallowing limitations. The maintenance and cleaning teams have been great too. My mom's room and the common areas are always neat and tidy. Any time I mention anything that could be improved, it is. In summary, my mom is very happy at Sunrise Richmond Hill and that gives me the peace of mind that I made the best decision on her behalf that I could.

Visited Sunrise Richmond Hill and had a friendly and informative session and tour of the facility. Our host was James Manning and he did a great of listening carefully to our needs and then he presented us with all the features that Sunrise Richmond Hill has to offer. James knows his stuff and answered all of our questions and concerns in a convincing manner. We had heard good things about Sunrise and our visit certainlty supported those claims. During our walkabout, it was a pleasure to see so many residents happy and engaged in meaningful activites throughout the site. If and when necessary, Sunrise will surely get our full consideration.

I'm a visiting nurse coming to Sunrise. Since I started working in the community, Sunrise Richmond Hill staffs are very professional to work with. PSWs are very accommodating on the time I'm visiting the resident and are very willing to help. Nurses who are very involve and proactive in providing the best quality of care,easy to approach whenever there's a concern regarding the resident. Concierge staffs who always greet you with a smile. Care managers who are always willing to help whenever you need assistance. I usually go to memory care unit and I always admire how Danny provides activities to residents to make them active socially and mentally. All in all, Sunrise RH staffs are amazing

And the food are more variety or choices everyday there always have entairnment concert at 4th floor area. the performer is Danny Paragas..
