The first time I walked through the doors of Sunrise Senior Living Aurora, I intuitively knew that this was the place where I wanted to work. The atmosphere was so warm, welcoming, and inviting. I have the privilege of working with a wonderful, cooperative Management Team and I am continuously amazed with the exceptional level of care, compassion, support, and dedication of all the Care teams, they truly have the Resident's best interests at heart. I believe that it is of the utmost importance to have a healthy working environment and I can truly say that I look forward to coming to work every day.

I've been at Sunrise of Aurora for 19 years and I consider it to be my second home. We have a great working environment and management team. The residents enjoy our welcoming and warm environment and care managers that enrich their lives everyday.

Sunrise is a beautiful residence. When you drive up to it you feel like you just pulled up to a Muskoka resort. The interior feels the same as well. My mother has been there since January and she tells us all the time how much she loves it there. The staff know everyone by name and every time I'm there I see them display a genuine tenderness to all the residents. They have a smile for everyone. My mother participates in all the daily scheduled programs and events for the residents (ie.exercises, piano player, dancing, trivia games, movies, etc). I've never seen her smile so much. My family and I couldn't be happier with Sunrise of Aurora.

I have had the pleasure of working at Sunrise of Aurora for almost 20 years and have always been treated with kindness and respect from my co workers and , as well The Management Team and our wonderful Executive Director, Sarah Soleymany. Love our residents , the beautiful environment I get to work in and all my fellow co workers and friends . Would highly recommend Sunrise of Aurora for your loved ones, I see the care first hand the residents get and it's awesome , hats off to all the passionate and hard working Care Managers I have worked with over the years .... i have worked in the wellness department for most of my career and our residents are so lucky to be seen and cared for by all the wonderful nurses and Med Techs , especially Nurse Nancy Mcgowan .........Christina Daza our RCD , you are the best , so professional and kind and your passion for nursing and running the Wellness department is beyond amazing

My mom has been in the Sunrise community for almost 6 years. She has been treated with best care and compassion that we could ask for. This is her home and she appreciates all the staff and care managers that have been in her life since she got here. When problems arise, the staff goes to great lengths to solve all issues with the same care and compassion that we are accustom to. The programs that are offered to stimulate the residents mind and body are very good. Thank you Sunrise for taking such good care of our mom.

The Sunrise community have provided our family with a safe, caring, and comfortable home for our Dad. They take time to explain procedures and policies, consider his point of view/opinion, show appreciation towards his continued interest to remain as independent as possible and try to adjust to his varying needs. The sense of humour amongst staff and genuine desire to understand and get to know him, enriches their daily interactions. We appreciate the care that goes into ensuring his well-being is at the forefront. Taking time to really listen matters and has a tremendous impact. I have to give credit to the staff at Sunrise of Aurora. They work hard to make Sunrise a home for their residents. They become "family" to those in their care. All staff are available to speak with me and never make me feel as if I have asked one too many questions. I aways feel welcome anytime I come for a visit or a quick pop in. My mother passed away peacefully at Sunrise with the support of the staff while her husband continues to be a resident.
