This is a wonderful community. I absolutely loved working here. The residents truly make this place great. Wonderful employees. The only downfall is management. The housekeeping supervisor is an awful person. She talks about employees and residents and tells there business, doesn't have a good plan to make things run smoothly, don't really know what she's doing . No one likes her but they keep her around and unfortunately loose good employees because of her. I hope they will see her faults and address the issues within that department

My mother has lived here for over a decade having moved in when my father lost his eyesight and could no longer drive. They both loved the strong sense of faith and community they found here. They made many, many friends. After my father passed away several years later, it was a blessing to have mom at Meramec Bluffs surrounded by those established friends. She feels very safe and secure there, loves the food, and has plenty of activities to join in should she choose to do so. It's really a beautiful campus too and the staff is superb. I've never encountered anyone who isn't caring and helpful.

We had such a great experience at Meramec Bluffs. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. My 102-year-old mom was living at home with a lot of in-home care, and we hoped we would be able to keep that up. Unfortunately, she had a fall and had to be taken to the hospital. We had to scramble to find a nursing home that would take my mom, most were full to capacity. Meramec Bluffs made room for her. While she was there, she was treated so kindly, compassionately and respectfully, and we were very happy with the level of care she received. Our family was also treated with the same regard. The staff went out of their way for us on several occasions. The facility itself it beautiful! It is clean and very well maintained, and we felt very good about leaving my mom's care in their hands. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one. If I could rate 10 stars, I would! Thank you Meramec Bluffs!!!

We feel very blessed to be residents at Meramec Bluffs. We have been here 6 years and have enjoyed the beautiful grounds, food, activities, and feel the comfort and care available for us now and in our future. During the Pandemic, we always have felt safe and appreciated everything that was done for us during that difficult time.

Meramec Bluffs has been a life saver for us! June 2021 my father had a health crisis, and my parents suddenly decided to move to St.Louis from a small town in eastern Illinois. I had a friend who had heard the community at Meramec Bluffs was caring and compassionate through and through. So the next day I made a call to Meramec Bluffs and made an appointment with Sherrie to tour an apartment. She went above and beyond for us on every level! Robyn ended up doing our closing and move in, and we received the same professional, compassionate service and care from her. My father was in rehab at The Bluffs for 10 days, and we were very pleased with the care there as well. My parents have lived in their beautiful apartment for over a month now and have been warmly greeted and cared for by the residents. We greatly appreciate the many quality resources available to my parents in this community, but more so treasure the love and care that surrounds them each and every day. Thank you Meramec Bluffs!

We can honestly say that moving to Meramec Bluffs was one of the best decisions we ever made, for many reasons: 1. There is a strong sense of Community, and many opportunities for social interaction, from bus trips, to in-house social hours, movies, games, holiday celebrations, exercise classes, interest groups (arts, veterans etc), and themed activities (carnival, Octoberfest etc). 2. Freedom from maintenance concerns. It's 6pm Saturday night, and our kitchen sink is leaking. We call maintenance, and by 8pm the sink is fixed. We lost our garage door opener and phoned maintenance. It was replaced the same day. When we think how long we would have waited for a plumber and how much we would have paid; and when we think of the time spent either on line or running to hardware stores for a garage door opener, programing etc, we are very grateful to be at Meramec Bluffs 3. Great food. Our dinners have included scallops and risotto, Korean tacos, prime rib, gyro bowls, kabobs, vegetarian dishes and more. We have never had a bad meal since we moved here nearly 3 years ago. 4. A Market where you can pick up anything from fresh baked cookies, eggs, milk, hot and cold lunch specials to stamps and laundry soap. 5. An on site clinic which we have used for doctor prescribed blood samples for clinical tests, flu vaccinations, minor injuries etc. 6. A staff who goes the extra mile: Organizing bus trips for residents to get Missouri Real IDs, organizing Covid vaccinations for all residents. During the Covid shut down, all our meals were delivered. The staff even delivered happy hour drinks door to door every Friday. We are very blessed to be here. Life is a lot easier, which means more time to do fun things!

My husband and I have been residents of Meramec Bluffs for 6 years. The residents and staff are very friendly. We especially like all of the activities available. We both play water volleyball, Mahjong, shuffleboard and several card games. The outside trips are outstanding. There is a big variety of food available. The chef works really hard at trying to please everyone. If you want to make new friends, enjoy great food and have a good time, this is the place to be.

I have lived here for nearly 7 1/2 years. I was not thrilled to be giving up our home but was urged by my husband that we make the move. So happy we did. This is a very caring community by both the staff and the residents. Through the pandemic we were cared for with love and very much help that has kept us safe and now we again are experiencing the joy of living more normally. i look out over beautiful trees and flowers, have a lovely balcony to view the changing seasons. One has the choice of many things to do and enjoy or to have the privacy that is important to me. The aging process is one we all experience. Meramec Bluffs allows one to do it in an atmosphere that is gracious and fulfilling. My husband died nearly 4 years ago and I am so grateful that I live here now. It was our home together,, and now it is my home today for which I am very thankful.

I have lived here at Meramec Bluffs for a little over 1 1/2 years. And I love living here! Where do I begin? - Meramec Bluffs is a special place - a place that I am so thankful to be able to call 'home'. I love the Chapel here where I can worship every Sunday morning - that was especially helpful during the covid restrictions. The site is beautiful - trees galore! Walking trails around the entire complex - right at about a mile around! Benches to sit on if you just want to relax a little. A wonderful view of the river - and more trees! and a lovely overlook where I often will meet others who are enjoying the weather and the view also. Many birds and a glimpse of the trains as they pass by far below us. A log cabin that was here a lot longer than Meramec Bluffs - usable for private parties in addition to events planned for the residents. I live in the 'big house' - where the Independent Residents live. The staff here at MB are so pleasant and helpful - and fun! And the residents are just great! I have found that we all are here to make new friends and to enjoy this time of our lives. Some of the days, there are so many options for us that it's hard to choose one over the other. And then again, if I want to be alone, I can relax in my own home. God is good and I thank Him every day that He has blessed me with this place.

My mother became a resident of Meramec Bluffs just a couple of months before all social activities came to a halt in response to the COVID pandemic. Despite the necessary restrictions put into place for the residents, every attempt to maintain a positive atmosphere was done. The staff and administrators tried very hard to keep a positive atmosphere throughout the residences. I made numerous calls and inquiries to Robin Cavanaugh to check on my mother and always received thoughtful reassurance of her well being. I have made other calls to Ms Cavanaugh with regards to my mothers apartment, her dining options, money concerns and so on. She has always responded quickly and respectfully and continues to make me feel that my mother is residing in the absolute best place for her.

My aunt married an American (for over 60 years) and is living in a nursing home here as her final home. I went to see him last year. Is this a nursing home? I stayed here for 10 days and felt the spaciousness, nature, abundance of facilities, and warmth of the people. America's generosity is unimaginable to Japanese people! Too amazing

Beautiful clean place! A+ on the care my brother and Dad who were both there for a month at separate times. No complaints! Food was excellent. PT worked with them and really helped them improve. This is the ONLY place I will EVER put a loved one!! Highly recommend!

My mom has spent time here 3 times in the past 2 1/2 years and every experience has been fantastic. The staff is amazingly helpful, the social worker, Kelsey helped me a lot when I was having problems getting my leave of absence paperwork done. Everyone here is so polite, helpful and friendly. Thank you all.
