Outstanding Rehab at Foulk Living, 1212 Foulk Rd., Wilm., DE. My mom was in the Rehab unit from Dec. 2024 - early Feb. 2025. They have dedicated staff who coordinate care to ensure proper rehabilitation. My mom and family cannot rave enough about Tirus (Dir. of Nursing) whose exceptional smile, demeanor, and personality are calming, uplifting, attentive, encouraging, comforting, and supportive. His energy is contagious. He is highly in tuned with a patient's needs and provided us with much-needed advice in terms of identifying subtle signs of symptoms in someone stoic. He was born to do this!! Lily (Dir. of Rehab) and Stephanie (Dir, of OT), Emily, and Bridgette (PT) were committed to ensuring my mom's rehab went exceedingly well. My mom surpassed some of the doctor's rehab expectations. Tirus, Lily, and Stephanie ensured my mom was not discharged prematurely - an option that could have been driven by insurance. Rebecca (Admin Coordinator) was very friendly and provided no limits on who could attend the weekly family update meetings. (My mom had 5 family members at these meetings.) Meetings were highly coordinated and provided realistic and forthright information. It was clear the people responsible for my mom's care had her best interests in mind. While the nurses/aides have many demands on them, they (too many to cite and I don't want to inadvertently forget to mention someone) took particular care to make my mom's stay comfortable and enjoyable. Many really went out of their way for my mom. They were truly special. They have 2 televisions in the Rehab lobby area showing different things to cater to wider audiences. The nurses/aides rev up festivities during holidays or whenever they can. With my mom and other patients being Philadelphia Eagles fans, they got them energized and engaged while watching the Eagles games (regular season, playoffs and Super Bowl VICTORY). They had entertainment come in to keep patients engaged. My mom loved everyone so very much that 6 months after her discharge she visited them and brought bagels and coffee to pay tribute and to spend time with them. She continues to be thankful to them. This review is long overdue. As my mom says, if you could put stars in the folders of those who work in Rehab, put in a whole galaxy of them. ENDLESS THANKS!!!

I am writing to comment on the care that my sister is receiving at Foulk Living's Rehabilitation unit. She was admitted following a hospital stay for a stroke. The amount of progress she is making, after just a few weeks, is amazing. Thanks to Rich her Speech Therapist and Stephanie and Bridget, her Physical Therapists, we see daily improvement!!! In addition, every one of the Nurses and Support Staff are kind and friendly. I am not sure if Leticia ever has a day off, she is always present, helpful, and pleasant. Rebecca and Jasmine have been immeasurably helpful with Medicare and finding a long-term facility for future placement. Also, the building is gorgeous, clean, and well kept.

I just spent 4 weeks in rehab at Foulk Living and cannot begin to say how good an experience I had. My husband was there last year for 6 weeks, and still raves about the care he received. From the minute I arrived I was greeted by warm, a caring staff. Thank you so much, Marlene Lindsay, for your wonderful smiles and care. And I also want to thank Selma, Fini, Yvette, Vicky, Marcia, Sean, Irene, J., Gina, Carter and Evelyn. If I forgot anyone, I am truly sorry. These people are all so special. They love what they do and they show it every single day. And I must add the Physical Therapy team. Lilly heads a terrific team with Bridget, Emily, Stephanie, Joe and Lindsay. They worked me hard to get me up and out. Thank you one and all. I highly recommend Foulk Living Rehab. I have been elsewhere, and this is the best!

Visited: 6/4/2025 I observed care and compassion. I also observed professionalism. I want to mention to staff members; Supervising nurse Paulina, she works the 3pm to 11p shift. I also want to mention, Jasmine Sharpie. Both ladies demonstrated, compassion and professionalism, they are the kind of people that you know will care for your loved ones. I do have to mention the area for happy hour, the staff that was serving the individuals on 6/4 showed enthusiasm and joy.

Every time I walk in it's a most delightful experince like nothing I've ever seen or experienced! It's Clean! It has NO bad ordors anywhere or on any floor! Things are neat & organized! The way you are treated for a complementry lunch is really amazing & the delicious armora is the only smell in the complex, wafting through the air! As far as Ms Nana - she is the bestest, greatest, nicest, smartest, delightfulest Representative of an Assited Living facility that I've ever had the honor & privilge to meet & know. She runs things with a fine tooth comb & knows answers to every question you have. A tremendously intelligent, yet, very approachable Director ever!! If you , a family member, or friend needs a fantastic place to reside, next to the NC County Library & a bus that takes you anywhere you need to go - - THIS IS The PLACE for YOU!!

The residents always seem happy and appear well cared for and are engaged in many activities throughout the day. Hello, I've been an employee at Foulk Living since October, 2023. From the first day I walked in the door to apply for a housekeeping position I knew Foulk would be a great fit for me. From the receptionist, Darlene who made the first impression exceptionally wonderful. The building was very beautiful, warm-inviting, clean and I felt a sense of belonging here. After meeting HR director Melody whose always very pleasant might I add made sure I was well prepared for my position and walked me thoroughly through the hiring process where I never felt rushed everything was organized and explained clearly. Now it was time to meet my supervisor and coworkers. Leroy made me feel very welcomed during our walk through of the building as he explained my position and showed me the building everyone was so nice and greeted me as if they've known me for years. He is a very straight to the point type of guy, that works hard just like his employees. Hands down he's the most down to earth supervisor you could ask for, given that all your work is done. Renee my coworker was God sent for taking me under her wing and showing me all the ins and outs. Renee made me feel comfortable and a part of Foulk from day one. I enjoy all my coworkers, everyone makes you feel like family. Foulk has been nothing but good to me and I plan to reciprocate that same vibe and energy. I'm very happy to be apart of the FOULK FAMILY.

What can you say about the type of care a 96+ woman requires, especially one who is very difficult and opinionated. Well, the staff at Foulk Living has been absolutely wonderful in dealing with and caring for my mother Mary! Individuals like Jeanna, who has taken a major role in dealing with her during her moody and obstinate periods. She has consistently calmed mom down and got her into a better frame of mind. Then there are the Nursing staff who interact and focus the physical and medical care on a very stubborn individual. Victorini, Ester, Stella all have this unenviable and difficult task. The phrase "with loving care" is so applicable to how they treat mom!!!! The entire staff in Foulk Living's 2nd Floor Healthcare unit have been absolutely amazing in how well they have cared for my mother and treated myself and siblings. We are so grateful!! My Mother has been here for almost 3 years, she's a demanding patient, that receives incredible care from a wonderful and patient staff. They always express how much they love her and it's evident every time I get to see her. Gina, Victorina, and so many others are such dedicated caretakers. I live in TX and get to see her every 6-8 months. Mom is always clean, well kept and happy! I'd recommend Foulk Living to anyone who needs this type of care! We are so Blessed to this care for my 96 year old Mother!

Our mom recently required short term rehabilitation after a stroke. We had been at Foulk Living two weeks prior to her stroke to tour their Memory Care facility and noted that they also have a short-term rehab facility. One thing that jumped out at us during the tour were the people who work at Foulk Living. Everyone was smiling and genuinely nice and helpful and welcoming. My sister and I have been to many senior living communities over the years for our Mom and grandmother and never experienced anything quite like this. That is what brought us to FL for short-term rehab. During our Mom's rehab stay at FL, we noticed each person at FL... from caregivers (Tay and Marlene) to nurses(Stella, Victorine, Teris and Evelyn) to administration (Rose) to PT/OT (Karen) to social work (Rebecca!) to housekeeping to maintenance... were smiling and so kind, welcoming and helpful and so respectful to our mother. Our Mom has never received such good care by caregivers...they were professional and went above and beyond to ensure Mom was well taken care of. Care of our mother is of utmost importance. That being said, our plans are to move her in their Memory Care when an opening becomes available. We cannot express how highly we recommend this facility for your loved one!! Thanks to everyone at Foulk Living!

My name is Marc and I have been a patient/ guest at Foulk Living for more than 6 weeks for rehab. I could not ask for better facility that got me back to health. They are are highly professional, yet caring and compassionate. Their aides, nurses, PT and supervisor were excellent. The entire staff gave themselves and made sure that my Rehabilitation went smoothly. As an added bonus the food was appetizing and presented well. I very much looked forward to my meals. It felt like I was being treated by a loving family. Even though I want to go back home it feels like I will be leaving my second family.

Foulk Manor North is one of the nicest facilities I have ever visited! The staff is incredibly friendly and the building itself is stunning. The facility is clean and the residents are very well taken care of by their dedicated staff! The staff are tight knit and you can tell they work so well together as a team! My mother has been at Foulk for about a year now. She has dementia and has needed Skilled Nursing. I can not say enough about how well taken care of she is! She is able to progress through this disease with dignity thanks to the staff. They don't just jump to medicating because they don't want my mother to lose her spunk (and she is a lot of work!) We recently moved my dad there as he is approaching end of life. Although he is in a different unit than my mother, the staff has helped us navigate this process and work through it while including my mother. I can not imagine going through this without the Foulk Staff.

Brought my grandmother here in July of 2023. It was a little outdated looking but the staff seemed nice. Now a year later I can say we are so glad we choose this place. It has now been fully renovated and looks beautiful. My grandmother loves the staff here and so do we. Nana was and is a pleasure to deal with on every situation we needed. We bothered her a lot. My grandmother doesn't stop talking about how great and how much she loves Tosha the activities coordinator. There are so many activities going on it keeps her out of her room and socializing and meeting new friends, something that we were worried about. Her not leaving her room. My grandmother is on the independent living side. It smells nice and new and not how you think an old person home would smell. We visit often and my grandmother always has a smile on her face. I wish we would have put her here sooner. She had a regular apartment before we moved her here, and was depressed and lonely. Not anymore!!!

I can't say enough about Foulk. My Nana is there and it totally warms my heart. Their staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond for their residents. The care, food, and therapy are just what you expect from a facility and you will always be greeted with a smile. The facility is beautiful, clean and quiet. There is always a fun activity going on for all to participate. I can't express enough how happy I am she is a resident there.

Foulk Living takes care of my mother who has dementia. She is treated with dignity and respect. The staff interact with her to help keep her brain stimulated. My father has been at Foulk Living for a short time. Sadly, he is there for comfort care/end of life. The outpouring of love for both my parents, my sisters and I during this difficult time is amazing! The staff at Foulk Living were attentive to all my father's needs. They ensured my mother and he had time together. And they made sure my sisters and I were cared for emotionally and physically. I cannot say enough about the staff at Foulk Living!! It was the best choice for our family!!!

We moved my dad into Foulk Living last April and could not be happier with the care he receives there. The staff are very caring and have become like family to us. Most importantly, he is happy there. The entire facility was just remodeled beautifully and the grounds are lovely.
