My mother lives here and because of work I, sadly, have to be 1000 miles away in Minneapolis. But I'm eternally grateful that she has the ability to live in a place like Jefferson's Ferry where I know she's being looked after! It's a little like living in a hotel but with a community that cares because they get to know you. They have independent and assisted living- with medical facilities as well. It's not a depressing "old folks home" at all! They do all kinds of activities, take trips, go into the City to museums and to the theater, they have movie nights, lectures, Friday cocktails, classes, workshops, clubs--my mum actually started the Garden Club! They have a beautiful indoor pool; a salon, a work out room, a library, a cafe and a more formal dining room, and many more amenities. Also the food is quite good! Always fresh and they go out of their way to please you. Our favorite is the summer barbecues! If you are considering Jefferson's Ferry do not hesitate to visit for yourself!

My brother (i wont say his name but it starts with a B and ends with yo) works here and the workers are really nice, everyone here is great and it is a great place to live in, has various activities and many clubs! I love jefferson ferry. 🙂

My parents have lived at JF for over 10 years now. The staff is lovely, the activities are well-planned, the food is delicious, and most importantly the respect and care for the residents is obvious. My parents are very happy and grateful that they are able to live there. My brother and I share that same gratitude.

The best Ferry on Long Island unless you're counting Orient Point this Ferry runs like clockwork from Bridgeport to Port Jefferson and back wonderful experience good food some times they have music $$$
