My compliments to the staff during our power outage last week. In spite of the lack of hot water, wi-fi, A/C, and other conveniences in our rooms, there were some positive things. A generator kept the main dining room cool and several of the kitchen appliances working. The staff did a great job providing meals efficiently though limited in choices. Their friendly attitudes were tested beyond measure, and I believe they passed the test! The hallways remained lighted with numerous fans providing air circulation. Thank you, staff, for your good work!

Recently had to put a family member in memory care and I can't say enough about the process... they helped us every step of the way Gitte helped us to get all paperwork in and any info we needed and now Gloria has been so wonderful to our family member who is staying there. She always has a smile and kind word and she truly cares!! Its nice to know there are still people out there who dont just "go through the motions" but people who care... this situation is hard enough but Im thankful we found Augusta Woods!!!

The Landing at August Woods is a beautiful community, but what really makes it shine are the residents and the staff. Housekeeping, nusing, caregivers, chefs and servers, acitivites, leadership and managers, you can see they all care about their community and the residents of the community are their priority.

I follow the adventures of the residents at The Landing on Facebook and can't get over all the amazing things they are doing! Edward Craft creatively engages them in activities that enrich their lives by focusing on what they CAN do, not what they can't. Each resident's abilities drive the programs from creating and leading a dementia friendly worship service to dancing, baking or shopping for and arranging flowers. The Landing is a place filled with joy and laughter!

My husband and I visited the landing for my in laws. If distance hadn't been an issue we without a doubt would have had them reside there. The staff was very friendly and all the residence seemed very happy
