I was in the Broadmoor at Creekside for 2 weeks for rehab. Abby was great in housekeeping. The nurses were Nisha, Jennifer, Erica and Aya. They were excellent!!! They have a great Physical Therapy team!! I wouldn't want to live there but for the PT activities it was ok. The food wasn't that good.

The therapy at this facility is wonderful! My foremost concern was trying to get pain medication in a timely manner...particularly at night. I would suggest always having family members available to help monitor any concerns, especially with an aging parent. I did appreciate that executive staff post phone numbers in the patient rooms if there are any issues to be dwelt with and seemed concerned and willing to listen. Most of the nurses/aids were nice & caring. The facility was clean and the grounds were well taken care of. The food was tasteful for a nursing/rehab facility. I also liked that the rooms are private and offer a microwave and small fridge.

Absolutely gorgeous facility, and as with all places there are many amazing people and many less than amazing people - one of the latter being the director of nursing, Mario. I spoke with him and two nurses mid February to offer some assistance in dealing with my bed-bound mother, who demands a lot of their assistance, for their benefit as well as my mother's. Needless to say it fell upon deaf ears. I am still awaiting a call back, from Mario, since mid-February......even after calling him on his cell, while on vacation, which he assured me he would call me upon his return. Well, I'm still waiting. Yesterday, I received a VM asking if I knew where my bed-bound mother was???? No. She had called 911, that she had to call herself, and went to the hospital for chest pain, yet the facility did not know where she was taken. Since this is a dangerous situation, I have contacted the management company, CANTEX. Hopefully, they will make some necessary changes. Bottom line, the facility has the potential to be a great one, under new leadership, with someone that possesses integrity. Addendum: Andy P., the administrator, contacted me and he promptly addressed all of my needs. Maybe the team will step up now. 07/21: It's been 3 weeks since a response was sent to my review and I STILL have not heard from anyone. I left a VM for the Ombudsman on 06/21, and have yet to receive a call back - this is really shocking and SCARY as this is the office that addresses patient issues/ complaints. All of the staff I have encountered seem to care; the apparent issue is with leadership and their inability to respond to family members of their patients. Again, I started contacting Mario, the director of nursing, back in February. Not sure how he can accept a paycheck or sleep at night. When I communicated with Andy P, the administrator, yesterday to let him know I still hadn't heard from mom's new doctor (as I'm confident Andy instructed him to call me), and he said he would follow up..........again, not sure why communication is such a challenge for this facility. And btw, I did contact CANTEX & you guessed it - no response. 08/14: I am very happy to revise my previous star rating from a 2 to a 1 to a 5!!! Since my last review, Andy, the Administrator, made a doctor change and I am very pleased with her. Also, Mario, Dir of Nursing, finally called me back, apologized for dropping the ball and since then has been accessible to me & my family. The team really stepped up and I am very appreciative and confident she is receiving the care she needs during her decline.

Once again I find myself back at the Broadmoor. And once again I am very satisfied with my care here. The Physical Therapy Dept is always on point, they never let me down. The nurses I had had he as been wonderful, always checks on me and make sure all my needs are meet. Want to send a very heart ful Thank you to Mario the head of the nurses department. He has always went above and beyond to help me when ever I needed help with anything. Being a patient here you observe a lot of things. And I see the way he interacts with his staff which I think is wonderful. With the problems I have had here he had always been able to fix them. Cantex need more DON's like him. He is good at what he does I am a returning patient of Broadmoor. I have truly loved the care I get from the Medical staff as well as the Office staff. Here is a list of some of my personal best I would like to recognize for doing a exceptional job. I'd like to share a little about the Broadmoor. I fractured my leg back in January and need Rehab. I went to Broadmoor and was greeted by Mr. M. Garza and he told me about the services they had available. Being on a wheelchair I was worried having to go too far as i had no experience with this disability, Mr. Garza pushed my chair to their Rehab facility, he introduced me to the Rehab team. They were friendly and helpful, Evan the Director for Rehab evaluated my documentation and my needs to get me back to better mobility. Dillan was assigned to work with me on my Rehab. Couldn't have asked for a better Rehab guy, he was exceptional, worked with me and was patient as I struggled at this because I had some pain. He assured I was comfortable and always positive attitude gave me that little extra push to progress slowly, but surely. After about 2 months of Rehab at the Broadmoor all I can say is that I'm extremely grateful and would love to highly recommend them. Their staff is very friendly and always helpful you just can't go wrong with the Broadmoor team. Dave L.

The clinical, operational, and therapy staff worked as one team, gave a high level of service, and most importantly, made us all feel wanted and cared for. I work at The Broadmoor and this is one of the best facilities I've worked in my 24 years in the nursing field.... The staff are the nicest people you ever wanted to meet...all are extremely helpful. On a recent visit I hand a most wonderful experience. Felt like home and a 5 star hotel at the same time. The place was clean and the food was exceptional. It seemed the people who lived there were treated with dignity and respect. I was greeted by a totally delightful person, Martin Myers. The other staff were very pleasant also.

Here at @The Broadmoor at Creekside Park" The grounds are so pretty. We have 3 courtyards. The Administrator is always around, he can be seen, helping in residence room, helping them put shoes on. Helping all around the facility. All the office personal are always glad to help in anyway. From the; Executive Director-- Andy Pisarik Financial Manager -- Kalaivan Ramanjam Rehab Director ---Evan Moore and all the Therapy guys and gals, Director of Nursing --- Mario Garza he will keep you in stitches as well as helping with how you are feeling. I have had friends of family and colleagues with family members in this facility. The aesthetics of the building are beautiful and there are many rooms to visit and play games or puzzles or read with family members. The customer service is excellent. No place is perfect but the staff endeavors to correct any issues that arise. Rehab team is excellent and enabled my friend to go home independently. I would send family members here and I refer my friends to this rehabilitation facility.

I'm a resident here at Broadmoor..I've been here 2 yrs..and of now we have a AWESOME bunch employees..that have turn around. our house..Mr. Andy administrator..Mr. Marlo our D.O N.he is best letting go and firing of Nurses and or CNA's. not doing their jobs RIGHT being hired too job their well being Rude and job hallway right no caring for us..CNA,s doing jobs right halfway doing them not being on halls helping residents..with care love..If not doing their jobs RIGHT..being Fired are let go..it's the only solution that will done....We are Family here..when someone hurts are sick..they need to best care that time.. Terri CNA She goes far beyond being giving 100% of time when's here .Mr Marlo he's soo hard to get our house to be BEST...MR. Andy..wants this to best for us.. This is the most beautiful skilled nursing facility in the area!! The management is top notch and customer service is amazing. I would definitely feel comfortable having my elderly mom or dad here for rehab or long term care.

My Mom was in the skilled nursing part of this facility early this year. She loved the physical therapists and the PT room. We appreciated the room having a mini fridge and microwave. She came home much improved!

Ashton made my mother's physical therapy bearable and fun at the same time. We all know this can be hard for our elderly loved ones. She was kind, supportive and effective. Very blessed to have this experience.

My elderly father fell and broke his hip. He needs to be transferred to a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy. I contacted the Director of admissions with a list of questions we had prepared and she was very receptive and answered all my questions including questions about some older negative reviews explaining they had had many changes in management on the medical side. We toured the facility and it is beautiful! It is newer and has nice equipment and amenities and all rooms are private which was a huge difference from other places we toured. The physical therapist took time to discuss what we could expect for dad and we left feeling very comfortable that it was the right place for him to recover. Don't rely on old reviews. Take the time to talk to staff and tour facilities and judge for yourself. Lk
