If you have an aging parent in need of more help and are evaluating assisted living providers, I can't recommend Avanti enough. My father-in-law lived in an independent retirement community for several years and it was a great fit. As he aged, he became more confused about completing daily tasks like taking medication, whether he had eaten, and other mundane, but important tasks. When my wife and I decided it was time to move him to somewhere that could provide more care and assistance, we set several appointments to evaluate local providers. After touring several options, we decided Avanti was the best fit. The property was bright, clean, and welcoming. We loved that we had many support options depending on what he needed (and if he needed increasing support). We also appreciated that they had a memory care wing, should that become necessary in the future. The thought of moving him again and disrupting his environment/routine in the future was not something that we wanted to contemplate. The staff here is unbelievably special. My wife and I live fairly close so we spent a lot of time at Avanti after moving my father-in-law in. We have had the opportunity to see a variety of caregivers, housekeeping, foodservice, reception, management, and other staff interact with our loved one. I am always struck by their kindness, patience, and care. It truly is a special place and we were fortunate to find it. A special highlight of the Director Chris. He was always friendly, supportive, and willing to help. This special team at Avanti is a direct reflection of his leadership and dedication.

I’ve been so pleased with the exercise program at Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines, especially as it relates to my mom. She has memory challenges and it’s been incredible to see how thoughtfully the program is tailored to meet her where she is. A special thank you to Maricris, the fitness instructor, who is truly outstanding. She is patient, encouraging, and has a wonderful ability to connect with the residents. They all love her and look forward to her exercise classes. She adapts each activity so my mom can participate safely while still feeling successful and included. Maricris is a positive and bright part of the resident's day. It means so much to our family to see my mom engaged, moving, and enjoying herself. The care, attention, and personalization of this program really stand out. The dedicated fitness program was a critical factor in my decision to choose Avanti as a home for my mother. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend this community to others.

Keionna involves the residents in a variety of activities that are focused on their abilities and interests. I appreciate that she calls each of the residents by name, understands their limitations, and treats them with respect and dignity. It is very apparent that Keionna loves the residents and loves her job!

Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines offers a beautiful and modern environment with a lot to like. I moved my mom in over a year ago and we could not be more pleased with the overall care she has received. The facility is beautiful, clean, well-designed, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The caregivers are kind, attentive, and we are always greeted with a smile, which makes a big difference. They have great activities and social opportunities, and the community does a nice job creating a lively environment. Bingo twice a week is one of my moms favorites. Happy hour every day in the lounge at 4:00 pm. Outings each week outside the facility for lunches, shopping, etc. They strive to keep the residents moving with an amazing excersise program (which is my favorite - I love that my mom goes everyday). If I could give Avanti TEN STARS I would!!

I can't say enough great things about Avanti. I often refer to it as the "country club". My LO has been here for 17 months. She stays so busy with all the activities that she forgets to call me! I only live 7 minutes away so I pop in often. My mom enjoys her omelette every morning, The menu is the first thing I look at when I stop by (who doesn't want shrimp and grits for lunch©?!) But the great thing is the alternative menu (hamburger, fries, sandwhich etc..) The fitness instructor, Marichris has become my moms best friend. Her heart is as big as Texas! Maylynn and Stephanie, the med techs are great and very communicative. The activity director Kameron keeps them busy with crafts, outings, afternoon movies, holiday parties as well as various volunteer groups coming in. The concierge desk Pat and Jennifer are so happy and welcoming. Elijah has saved the day on multiple occasions with the TV. Apparantly it's easy for my LO to click on the wrong HDMI Becky is my "Goto" person...she has been really helpful in helping me navigate this unknown journey. All of them are led by Chris, the director so it's a great reflection of his leadership. We have not tried the beauty shop yet but I've seen her work. The ladies love showing off their manicured nails! I sure hope I get to retire here!

After spending over $140 thousand dollars for my mom to live at Avanti for 27 months I have alot to share. Real truthful facts. First , The website shows amazing restaurant style foodFALSE!! 75% of the meals are not good. My mom threw it in the trash. When she got a decent meal it was maybe 1 out of 5 that she would consider eating. Yes we complained. They try with the resources they have. Facility is beautiful. Kept clean. Concierge Patricia and Jenifer are the sweetest and very professional and helpful ladies. They make it better there. The assisted living side of AVANTI is good. The med techs are loving and attentive (Stephanie and Maelyn are amazing) but then there is the Memory Care side. As soon as I moved my mother to memory care her health declined at a rapid pace. We were warned of this happening by employee of Avanti and now we understand why. The exercise classes were amazing. The instructor is so caring and helpful. A few of med techs were knowledgeable and helpful but a couple not so much. I strongly advise anyone considering putting your loved one in memory care to install cameras. The 10pm to 6am staff was bad. They are not watched or checked in on and bad things occurred. However when I exposed bad behavior it was handled asap. But it continued in other aspects. My mother was on hospice the last 2 weeks of her life there and if she had been well enough to be placed in a private care home we would have removed her. Communication and employee training/knowledge is on the low side for some med tech employees. Group texting doesn’t get it done! But a few med techs are very experienced (Kiki, Nikki, Raven, and Paris) and they saved us more than once. My mom was put in some dangerous scenarios, ( meds/food given while in comatose state) but luckily Hospice was very helpful. Oasis Hospice is wonderful. Avanti has some really good caring employees. They are overworked and under paid (IMO) but have the heart for loving the elderly. Management of memory care did not impress us. Would we advocate for Avanti for other relatives of ours? On Assisted Living yes, but without the expectation of eating high end mealswould we advocate for memory care absolutely not unless those employees got proper training, had better communication within their med techs between shifts, if director was professional, and late night shift employees were screened, and cameras were installed in hallways. Who wants to spend almost 7 grand every month and not get top knotch care, food and meds safely given? My mom is gone now. I fought hard for her care and have zero regrets sharing the truth of her experience navigating through her journey to meet Jesus. My advice after spending years with both my parents in several facilities in different towns, when touring a facility, sit in the parking lot. Wait for a family member or a resident to exit and ask them how they like the facility and what they don’t like!! The blessings.. people who show up to work to keep elderly safe and as happy as possible and there are some here. It takes a special breed to do their job. ( P.S Chris see Bill gets his coffee at breakfast) ™

Decisions regarding the proper care and lodging of a family member that is experiencing dementia and other related mental disorders can be filled with anxiety and sadness while praying the decisions ytou make on their behalf is in their best interest. I know because I/my family have faced these decisions. Our loved one was moved into the Avanti Senior Living and Memory Care facility last year and has most recently been relocated to the Memory Care wing of the Augusta Pines facility. Fiest of all I must applaud Avanti leadership and staff. They are the most professional group of care-givers I could have imagined. Their sincere empathetic approach to giving love and attention to my family member and others under their care has been very rewarding and sincerely appreciate by me and our family. The facility is extremely attractive and comforatble for me as a visitor and to my loved one. The room that she occupies is big enough to be comfortable with a right sized bedroom and ample bathroom. The facility is very clean and well-maintained both inside and in the outdoor sitting and lawn. I attended the Thanksgiving dinner celebration. It was very festive with entertainement supplied. The food was absolutely delicious from the Turkey to ham to sides and desert. I initially thought food this good must have been catered but it was in fact prepared onsite by an outstanding team of cooks/chef and support staff. It was a great evening for me and my family member. I want to mention by names the staff and care-givers of whom I have been so impressed. Chris Holland, Executive Director. Having met with Chris a number of times, I find him to be totally interested in the residents and their well-being and very helpful and available to me. Thank you Chris. Tony is responsible for the Memory Care wing. He is fantastic in his role and has made such a great impression on me and my loved one. She is very happy to be under his care. Thank you to Melynn, Raven, Jax, Kiki , Wynonna and the others that have been so attentive to her needs while under their care and support. To Ms. Jean the head chef. What a wonderful sweet woman that takes great pride in her food prep and to her stsaff that are so willing and caring to please. To Mary Chris who invigorates any space she is in. She takes care of all physical activities to keep the residents engaged, doing exercises and leading in games and activites. She is a wondeful person and as I stated her energy in infectious. To Becky that is responsible for community outreach and marketing. She is well suited to her role and is always willing to meet for discssion about your loved ones needs and progress and affirmation. To Ms. Penny in billing, to Ms Kay, Nursing and also to the concierge team of Patricia and Jennifer at the front desk. Wonderful perople to be around and to deal with on behalf of my loved one. I heartily recomend Avanti Augusta Pines for anyone making decisions for their loved, as we had to do. Thank you Lord for leading us here. We coud not be happier with the decsion.

Both of my parents are now living in the assisted living part of Avanti. Becky, was amazing from the moment I inquired about the facility, to the tour, and providing me with all the information I requested to assist in making a decision. I got the sense that she genuinely cares about the residents and their family members. I chose Avanti because of the facility and the care that I saw other residents receiving during my tour. Since my parents have lived there, they have flourished. They were at another facility that was really taking a toll on their mental health. The lighting in the facility also makes a difference. There is a lot of natural light which really improves the mood. I can't say enough about this residential facility.

Exercises and brain games are at the top of my list to do, in addition to the interesting guest speakers we've had lately. They have been quite informative with their lectures. Staff is very accommodating and considerate, and the housekeepers are excellent. I am really glad that my kids found this place!

My grandmother suffered from dementia and lost a husband of over 50 years. The first few months in this place were great when she was still active. The gym guys are sweet, the cooks are sweet, but I didn’t notice a ton until time went on. After months of being here she started to decline rapidly to where we thought we would lose her any day. We thought that this was normal with her condition until a hospice nurse was hired. Our nurse notified us that my grandma was not being taken care of properly and that it was in her best interest to move to a care facility that actually cares. This was because she didn’t have teeth and was cognizant maybe half the time, yet she was being fed fried chicken and other whole foods she could not devour. Not only this but the food she didn’t eat was just wrapped and eventually tossed. I can attest to this as nurses would feed her if I was there, but if I came post meal, the meal sat wrapped and untouched. After we got the affairs in order, we moved facilities and she went from a RAPID decline to now being stable and has remained this way in the new facility for multiple months now. If your loved one is in a state of need and cannot take care of themselves on their own, I would not recommend this facility. My mother was a registered nurse at a hospital and now works hospice herself and has for years. I have a medical background not as extent but I’m not oblivious to the medial attention needed for someone of my grandmas status. Though I will say there are some people with great hearts that work here, it just seems over time they did not adjust to her changing state of health and mind. I kept from posting for months as I still was unsure if her condition or care caused the decline, but after her time in the new facility I am certain it was due to the care she lacked receiving. Thank you Avanti for causing my mom and uncle unbearable amounts of stress, most likely declining my grandmas health, and possibly ruining some of the time I had to spend with her and my son together.

We have loved this place for mom. She's lived here a week so far but every issue she's had they've addressed quickly and made her feel heard and loved. She had told us every day how friendly and caring the whole staff have been and she wishes she had moved here sooner. We couldn't be happier.... Well the other shoe dropped quickly. Promises were made that weren't fulfilled. Added costs we weren't told about ahead of time. Mixed up billing issues, and services promised weren't done. Had to move her after a year & half as she was no longer safe and had chosen Avanti specifically for Mom's end of life care. What was told wasn't the reality. Beautiful place, super nice well meaning people, but follow through in care was awful.

I toured Avanti in 2023 when we had to move my MIL into memory care & it was by far our 1st choice in the Spring, Klein, Woodlands area. The place is BEAUTIFUL & everyone was so friendly. Fast forward 6 months I was looking for assisted living for my sister in law, who could no longer live on her own. It was a big transition from being so independent, but Avanti has made this transition as smooth as humanly possible! The staff is always friendly, helpful & will assist in everyway they can. Maintenance has been on top of anything we ask & the activities are great. She has meet so many new friends and there is always an activity she can join. My SIL enjoys the lunch outings once a week, Happy Hour daily, workouts with Zay, crafts & her favorite is the karaoke!! The staff have been great & med techs are so friendly & helpful. I highly recommend Avanti.

My mom has been in the memory care here for a little over a month, and I'm so impressed with everything about it. It's very clean and nicely decorated--it feels more like a hotel than a facility. She loves the food, and there is a nice variety of daily activities for the residents. Most importantly, though, is the level of kindness of the staff toward the residents. I've spent easily 50 hours there, helping my mom settle in, and the compassion and level of care is wonderful. The directors are all very personable and have reached out to make sure she is having a smooth transition. Family members are warmly welcomed, and there is a very friendly, positive vibe. Couldn't recommend more highly.

My mother has lived at Avanti Augusta Pines assisted living for 9 months now and when I told her I was going to write a review she said, Give them the highest marks. My siblings and I appreciate the care that Mom is getting from the entire staff and if mom is happy all of us are happy. Most of the staff know me when I go in the building. If mom needs anything they’ll text or call. Mom seems to be involved in a lot of activities and has made quite a few friends. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I moved here in June due to changes in family support. She has memory problems and I needed respite from caring for her other health needs. I worked with A Place for Mom and our son who lives in Spring. The previous Assisted Living facility in the Dallas area was not meeting our needs very well due to corporate involvement. The major asset here is the staff. They know the residents and lend a hand with happy attitudes. We're very happy to be in this community. Go with a private company like Avanti and NOT a publicly traded senior iving company down the road. Trust me when I say that.

I am so happy that my mom is at Avanti at Augusta Pines! The staff is so professional, caring and friendly. The facility is beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. The activities are varied and appropriate. Mom loves the parades, holiday parties, social hour, art projects, musical performances and bingo. She had no problems making friends in the warm and friendly atmosphere. Mom came to Avanti after being in rehab and needed assisted living and continued physical therapy. Avanti’s fitness department was a big reason she chose Avanti. She gives a lot of credit to the exercise classes for keeping her going at 96 years young. The staff is the wow factor at Avanti! They meet all her needs in a manner that demonstrates that they truly care. You can’t find that everywhere, but it is evident at Avanti.

Avanti is so different than any assisted living place we've been to. My folks have housekeeping DAILY which is so helpful. They even have a little backyard they'll enjoy once it warms up. The residents are very independent and seem very happy. They love socializing and enjoy happy hour with each other every day! My parents have enjoyed the food so much. It's wonderful dishes and not just your typical cafeteria food They can even have food delivered to their room anytime of day if they don't feel like dining with everyone. There are exercise classes in the morning and afternoon which is awesome. My dad actually loves going to them as well. The caregivers are very discreet and caring. We have been really happy with the staff. My parents have made friends already in the 2 months they've been here.

I don’t even know where to begin as I rant and rave about Avanti’s Salize Memory Care. The staff is wonderful, and the caregivers are superb!...very loving and kind in everything they do to care for our loved ones every minute of the day. My mom has been there about five or six weeks now, and I am positively sure this is the perfect match for her. They keep them busy doing the things they love, whether it be exercising, painting, doing crafts, working on puzzles, singing Karaoke, dancing, reading to them, and/or having them read aloud to their peers. Their minds are kept stimulated. We are very happy here! An added bonus is that they celebrate every holiday big! They put on the best Christmas party ever! So thankful, blessed, and grateful to have my mom residing at Avanti Augusta Pines.

Our dear mother spent her last weeks in Avanti's Salize memory care wing. While Mom declined rapidly after admittance and spent only a couple months there, in that time we were all impressed very powerfully with the care attitude of the leadership and staff at Avanti. It made things far easier to be able to feel like Mom was getting not only good and regular functional care, but more: there was an attitude of love from the staff; maybe it sounds corny but I don't know how else to put it. I was a performer for a resident's 100 birthday party there, but the performance of the facility and its staff is nothing short of five stars. From the front desk to the dining area this place is exceptional, beautiful and very professional. It is the kind of retirement community that really feels like home.
