My grandmother suffered from dementia and lost a husband of over 50 years. The first few months in this place were great when she was still active. The gym guys are sweet, the cooks are sweet, but I didn't notice a ton until time went on. After months of being here she started to decline rapidly to where we thought we would lose her any day. We thought that this was normal with her condition until a hospice nurse was hired. Our nurse notified us that my grandma was not being taken care of properly and that it was in her best interest to move to a care facility that actually cares. This was because she didn't have teeth and was cognizant maybe half the time, yet she was being fed fried chicken and other whole foods she could not devour. Not only this but the food she didn't eat was just wrapped and eventually tossed. I can attest to this as nurses would feed her if I was there, but if I came post meal, the meal sat wrapped and untouched. After we got the affairs in order, we moved facilities and she went from a RAPID decline to now being stable and has remained this way in the new facility for multiple months now. If your loved one is in a state of need and cannot take care of themselves on their own, I would not recommend this facility. My mother was a registered nurse at a hospital and now works hospice herself and has for years. I have a medical background not as extent but I'm not oblivious to the medial attention needed for someone of my grandmas status. Though I will say there are some people with great hearts that work here, it just seems over time they did not adjust to her changing state of health and mind. I kept from posting for months as I still was unsure if her condition or care caused the decline, but after her time in the new facility I am certain it was due to the care she lacked receiving. Thank you Avanti for causing my mom and uncle unbearable amounts of stress, most likely declining my grandmas health, and possibly ruining some of the time I had to spend with her and my son together.

I live here and I am so impressed by the convenience of being able to reach my apartment without stairs. Exercises and brain games are at the top of my list to do, in addition to the interesting guest speakers we've had lately. They have been quite informative with their lectures. Staff is very accommodating and considerate, and the housekeepers are excellent. I am really glad that my kids found this place!

We have loved this place for mom. She's lived here a week so far but every issue she's had they've addressed quickly and made her feel heard and loved. She had told us every day how friendly and caring the whole staff have been and she wishes she had moved here sooner. We couldn't be happier…. Well the other shoe dropped quickly. Promises were made that weren't fulfilled. Added costs we weren't told about ahead of time. Mixed up billing issues, and services promised weren't done. Had to move her after a year & half as she was no longer safe and had chosen Avanti specifically for Mom's end of life care. What was told wasn't the reality. Beautiful place, super nice well meaning people, but follow through in care was awful.

The front desk ladies, Patricia and Jennifer are always inviting you into the community and very helpful. Our company has had patients there and the families have raved about the staff. My mom has been in the memory care here for a little over a month, and I'm so impressed with everything about it. It's very clean and nicely decorated--it feels more like a hotel than a facility. She loves the food, and there is a nice variety of daily activities for the residents. Most importantly, though, is the level of kindness of the staff toward the residents. I've spent easily 50 hours there, helping my mom settle in, and the compassion and level of care is wonderful. The directors are all very personable and have reached out to make sure she is having a smooth transition. Family members are warmly welcomed, and there is a very friendly, positive vibe. Couldn't recommend more highly.

My mother has lived at Avanti Augusta Pines assisted living for 9 months now and when I told her I was going to write a review she said, “Give them the highest marks.” My siblings and I appreciate the care that Mom is getting from the entire staff and if mom is happy all of us are happy. Most of the staff know me when I go in the building. If mom needs anything they’ll text or call. Mom seems to be involved in a lot of activities and has made quite a few friends. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I moved here in June due to changes in family support. She has memory problems and I needed respite from caring for her other health needs. I worked with A Place for Mom and our son who lives in Spring. The previous Assisted Living facility in the Dallas area was not meeting our needs very well due to corporate involvement. The major asset here is the staff. They know the residents and lend a hand with happy attitudes. We're very happy to be in this community. Go with a private company like Avanti and NOT a publicly traded senior iving company down the road. Trust me when I say that.

I am so happy that my mom is at Avanti at Augusta Pines! The staff is so professional, caring and friendly. The facility is beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. The activities are varied and appropriate. Mom loves the parades, holiday parties, social hour, art projects, musical performances and bingo. She had no problems making friends in the warm and friendly atmosphere. Mom came to Avanti after being in rehab and needed assisted living and continued physical therapy. Avanti's fitness department was a big reason she chose Avanti. She gives a lot of credit to the exercise classes for keeping her going at 96 years young. The staff is the wow factor at Avanti! They meet all her needs in a manner that demonstrates that they truly care. You can't find that everywhere, but it is evident at Avanti.

My mother in law has Alzheimer's and we made the difficult decision to move her to memory care 9 months ago. Avanti Augusta Pines has been a blessing for her and our family. It's a beautiful place with the feel of a boutique hotel, but more importantly the staff is cheerful, kind, loving, and patient with her. They keep her busy with exercise, field trips, crafts, happy hour, parties, etc. She is very happy living at this exceptional place, and I would highly recommend Avanti for your loved one.

I dont even know where to begin as I rant and rave about Avantis Salize Memory Care. The staff is wonderful, and the caregivers are superb!...very loving and kind in everything they do to care for our loved ones every minute of the day. My mom has been there about five or six weeks now, and I am positively sure this is the perfect match for her. They keep them busy doing the things they love, whether it be exercising, painting, doing crafts, working on puzzles, singing Karaoke, dancing, reading to them, and, or having them read aloud to their peers. Their minds are kept stimulated. We are very happy here! An added bonus is that they celebrate every holiday big! They put on the best Christmas party ever! So thankful, blessed, and grateful to have my mom residing at Avanti Augusta Pines.

Our dear mother spent her last weeks in Avantis Salize memory care wing. While Mom declined rapidly after admittance and spent only a couple months there, in that time we were all impressed very powerfully with the care attitude of the leadership and staff at Avanti. It made things far easier to be able to feel like Mom was getting not only good and regular functional care, but more: there was an attitude of love from the staff; maybe it sounds corny but I dont know how else to put it. Avanti is so different than any assisted living place weve been to. My folks have housekeeping DAILY which is so helpful. They even have a little backyard theyll enjoy once it warms up. The residents are very independent and seem very happy. They love socializing and enjoy happy hour with each other every day! My parents have enjoyed the food so much. Its wonderful dishes and not just your typical cafeteria food They can even have food delivered to their room anytime of day if they dont feel like dining with everyone. There are exercise classes in the morning and afternoon which is awesome. My dad actually loves going to them as well. The caregivers are very discreet and caring. We have been really happy with the staff. My parents have made friends already in the 2 months theyve been here.

Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines has made Senior Living what it should be. It is a joy to work here, and each day is full of laughter and smiles. Our residents are engaged and very active. The fitness program is amazing. The Taste restaurant has many choices and it is all so delicious it is hard to choose what to eat. I tell our chef that has worked around the world to simply surprise me, since I cant make up my mind. Our seniors are finally living the retirement they deserve. The management and even home office are so supportive, and really make you feel empowered, and always open to listen to their teams ideas. I love it here! I cant wait to see all of the greatness that will come when we open the doors to our Salize. The attention to detail in our Salize community is beyond compare, and the focus on resident choice, individualized care and programming is great! It is rare to find a team that is so cohesive and I feel blessed.

We had very short notice to move my great aunt from Phoenix, and the amazing staff at Avanti led by the most compassionate, caring and awesome executive director, Becky made everything perfect for her! She absolutely loves everyone on staff, cannot stop talking about nice everyone is, how great the food is, and all-about the awesome party they had this week. Shes extremely pleased that she can simply push a button the staff will come help her within a few minutes. She loves the landscaping, shes excited to use the art studio to make a new wreath for her door, and shes looking forward to our family gathering for Christmas in the family room which looks like a high-end boutique. Today she told me all about the Wednesday weekly outing, and how shes excited to ride in the van for the trips to CVS, Walmart, Steinmart and lunch out on the town! We lost track of time while visiting today, and the kitchen staff called to ask her if she would like room service! I cant say enough great things about Avanti at Augusta Pines, if youre looking for senior living, dont bother looking anywhere else, Avanti has everything your family member will ever need accompanied with the level of guest service youd typically find at a 5 star resort!
