As a professional who makes a living from referring families to senior living for nearly 22 years, I have trusted the team at Maravilla Scottsdale many times in my career. Families of course love the elegance and the aesthetics at first, but it has always been about the customer service and care provided that brings me back time and time again. Recommending senior living is challenging and my main concern is always on families receiving great outcomes. I know that when we partner together for families that they will get those positive outcomes when they choose Maravilla. For years, Mary Poisson was my go to contact person and now it's Tracey Lundgren. These ladies are truly pros and I trust them with our families.

The Zest team is phenomenal. They organize countless activites each month. In addition to the exercise classes, I have enjoyed the field trips, lectures from fellow residents, and games in the Bistro Bar. Zest works with residents to offer many card games and art activities. Zest is always there when one has an idea or suggestion for an activity or outing. Sue Branson

Everything at Maravilla is excellent. The floor plans are spacious. The amenities are varied and of interest. My husband and I have lived at beautiful Maravilla for 10 years. We enjoy wonderful fellow residents, many fun activities, and lots of entertainment. I enjoy the most beautiful indoor swimming pool just about every day. The dining room is quite impressive.

We were very impressed with the tour Adam provided at Maravilla. We liked the relaxed resort atmosphere. The units we saw were designed to meet our needs. The cleanliness and maintenance were outstanding. We joined the waiting list because of the flexibility and reasonable attitude. They focus on the needs and desires of the current and future residents.

In the 7 years that I have lived here at Maravilla, I have taken part in a large volume of varied activities. Some of them for new to me. The Zest Activity staff are excellent. They provide a variety of lectures, live entertainment, special events and are very good at getting people involved. They are open to trying new items presented by the residents like Readers Theater, Cornhole Tournaments, You Tube Concerts in the theater and many The Fitness Director has a good variety of exercise classes and is available to help the residents in their own exercise fitness plan. There are so many activities that some days you have to choose what you want to do.

My husband and I have lived at Maravilla Independent living for a little over 2 years. We had shopped for months before we made a decision. When we visited Maravilla Scottsdale the atmosphere of the community was friendly and welcoming. My husband and I are involved in many activities. There is always something to do or not. We are enjoying our life with our new family in our forever home.

Fabulous tour with Tracey which included a delicious lunch with two friends who wanted to make sure that I hadn't lost my mind about wanting to sell my beautiful home and move into Maravilla! I've been a resident here for a little bit over a year now. The staff is outstanding and the location is wonderful and extremely beautiful. I relocated here from my home on the east slope of Camelback mountain where I lived since 1954. I truly enjoy meeting the other wonderful residents here from all over the US. The lifestyle here is great and I never have to worry about maintenance and housekeeping. I also feel very safe here and know that my needs are met. I feel very comfortable and fortunate to be a resident here!

This Maravilla Open House was a bit confusing. There were some very interesting Japanese-themed foods and drinks plus a few nice activities such as flower arranging. However, there was no meeting of any kind to describe the benefits or any facts about living at Maravilla. The "tour of homes" described in the advertising for this event was actually a quick tour of one small model, with the explanation that all the other size units are occupied, thus not available for tours. It all felt very disorganized, with our "tour guide" somewhat flippant in her responses to questions. Then to learn that there are no available units at this time and a waiting list of 78 people, made me question why they even had an Open House. This event did nothing to improve our impression of Maravilla.

Both my parents have been here several years and I dine with them at least 2-3 times per week. I've come to know the staff and Xavier always goes above and beyond. Tonight, my mother with dementia was in a bad way and wanted ice cream but dessert was something else. I didn't even have to explain he immediately understood and made it happen. Miraculously both my parents were served an amazing ice cream with cholate sauce. He always amazes me by his grace, understanding and service. I cannot thank him enough for how many times he has gone way above his role to serve, protect and honor other residence here from my observations dining her alot and no one in management even knows. He is gods angel to Mara villa. Thank you Xavier I notice! God Bless You!

The best place I've ever worked at. Residents are super nice. Management and staff are very nice and helpful. I remember when I first walked in there I felt like a family already. The place itself is beautiful. Everyone gave me that warm family vibe.

When mother was toward the end of her life we took her to tour many facilities. They were all fine but Maravilla was the only one that she embraced. It was the right choice. There was quality care, kind service, good food, and a supportive administration. I highly recommend this facility for their care & integrity. My only regret was that my mom, of blessed memory, didn't get to have more time there.

My dearest friend, in 2 years in assisted living is now with status of memory care. If a facility notices this, is there rehabilitation, a consideration of a med change(antidepressants, B 12, )? Other methodologies. Online, scholarly articles say cognitive impairment can be reduced. Seems so.
