We have been residents of Alura Assisted Living for over two years and are very pleased with our choice. There are many events that the Activities team (Ruth, Lisa and Ann) plan for us, as well as bringing in entertaining musical guests weekly. The very capable kitchen staff, along with executive chef Chrysta, plan, prepare and serve a variety of meals daily. The nursing staff, under our recently appointed Director of Nursing (Kim, who is very familiar with residents and aware of Alura practices and procedures since she was appointed from existing nursing staff, good choice) is always available and very visible throughout the community. Caregivers tend to our needs, and are available 24/7. Residents formed a choir, Alura Songbirds, and thanks to the leadership of Celeste, choir director, performed for the residences on a number of special occasions during 2024 (Mother’s Day, Fourth of July, Fall Festival, Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas concert) and we look forward to additional celebrations in 2025. Housekeeping staff members ensure rooms are cleaned weekly and are also available when needed. And of course all of these directors, managers and staff members are under the leadership of our Executive Director Rose. She is always available, as she really does have an “open door” policy. She truly cares for the residents and is highly visible throughout the community. All of the administrative staff members are caring and continue to work for the safety and comfort of the residents. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with our new hospitality director to tour Alura. You may find your new home! Imagine, no more cooking, house cleaning, washing dishes, or planning things to do! Bingo anyone??

We moved my parents in just a few weeks ago and we could not be more impressed!! The staff are always smiling and greet everyone with kindness. My parents have shared that the food and nursing care are exceptional. They offer so many food options, that it's hard for them to choose which option. The Director of Nursing, Krystal is organized, an excellent communicator, and supports her team and residents at the highest level! Super impressive! Would like to give a shout out to the nursing team! Nursing Team: Krystal, Katrina, Andrea, Lisa, Takira, Elianna and Victoria They also said there are so many activities to choose from and have been kept busy! They especially like the social happy hours! We are so grateful to finally have my parents in a safe, happy, fun place!

We want to thank Alura Senior Living. My mother was only a resident for short time before she passed. The care and kindness of the staff was extraordinary. We would highly recommend this facility for anyone that needs extra treatment either in assisted living or memory care. Mom has been at Alura since March and i can't say enough about the MC and DON Krystal. If it wasn't for her nothing would get done and I would have most likely already moved Mom again by now. If there's an issue it doesn't get remedied until I talk with her about it. The nurses are awesome and several of the newbies are too, but I can always count on her to listen and fix a situation. Believe me when I say it matters when you have such an amazing director who listens and cares! You can tell she loves the residents and wants nothing but THE VERY BEST CARE for all of them!!

Thank you so much for checking her and staying by her side to assist her accordingly. Without your prompt interventions, I don't think the outcome would be the same. Their critical thinking was crucial for treatment. Your expedient actions are greatly appreciated. Also, many thanks to those my mother adored. She greatly appreciates your support and assistance when needed.

My Mom is a new resident and I am so relieved to have her at Alura. The facility is locally owned and operated. They have a true open door policy and have been very attentive to every request. The staff is very caring and everyone speaks to you with a great deal of respect. The facility looks like a resort hotels with every detail carried out. In addition, Alura has relationships with local doctors, physical therapists, and others that reduce the need to travel outside the facility. We could not be more pleased with the recent transition to Alura.

We moved my mother to Alura 3 months ago after viewing other facilities. It was the perfect spot for her. The staff is so caring, professional and treat everyone like family. They are also very inclusive when family members visit. There is a full schedule of activities for the residents which are diverse and engaging.

Alura Senior Living has been taking excellent care of my 101 year old grandmother for 4 months now. The entire staff including Krystal, Mary, and Yvette are kind and welcoming. They take care of Grandma's needs and are always helpful with special requests. Everyone goes above and beyond.

I feel the teams that work at Alura Senior Living are outstanding. They take much care in taking care of all the residents especially in the memory care area. I feel very relieved that my mom under their great care. Mary who runs the memory care unit is one the most caring persons that I have ever met. The attention to detail and all the residents is wonderful. It is tough to see my mom going through these struggles but knowing that Alura and Mary are there for her is comforting. Thank you.

We have provided musical entertainment for the residents of Alura since the facility opened. From our view, both communities, the assisted living and the memory care divisions, are well maintained. There seems to be a good amount of caring staff who positively interact with their residents. The food always looks good, and so do the snacks we have seen. They seem to keep a lively activities calendar for the residents to enjoy. Keep up the good work, Alura staff!

The owners are caring, compassionate and do care about the resident's choices/needs. The food is excellent the dining room is gorgeous. Assortment of activities for all! Rooms are nice sized the facility absolutely gorgeous. I love working here. I met some great people. resident's, and coworkers.

Seeing the changes they have recently implemented will really make this place better. They saw the flaws and rectified them. A new head of Memory care, a new head nurse, fabulous decision! And now the AMAZING MARY running some things with memory care, really takes it home. She is a gem, and one of the most competent, kindest and knowledgeable women there. She genuinely cares about the residents and it shows, same with Alexis and Kim the nurse. There are a few others but I don't know their names. I visited today and was pleased with what I saw. Lots more caregivers to care for the memory care residents which was a big need, most facilities would ignore the concerns but instead they stepped up, that was ROSEMARIE! She made this happen!! Way to go!! Very happy!!

My mother in law is a resident of Alura and she loves it. She has stayed in two other senior living places in Melbourne and did not like it there. So, when Alura began showing the property we went and made a video of the place before it opened. My MIL thought she would like the upscale living it promised and the beautiful, large rooms. She moved in as soon as it was opened and now she is loving it. She has her circle of friends and they have parties together and go to dinner and lunch together. The facility is similar to a modern upscale hotel. Beautiful entry way with chandeliers and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace and a coffee bar. The dining room is stunning with chandeliers and plenty of comfortable seating. The tables allow for a wheelchair and the staff is super accommodating and helpful. The food is definitely delicious and they offer a wide variety of foods if you don't like the featured meal. There is a salon, a movie theater, a bar a gym and a craft room. The staff decorates the entryway for each major holiday. It is super clean, also. If you are looking for a home for your parent(s) go and check it out. Well deserved 5 stars.

After a search for assisted living in Brevard County for my mom, we happily decided on Alura. The staff is attentive, professional, and competent. The residents are friendly and engaged in the community. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. My mom is happy and secure in her new home, enjoying her meals, neighbors,and activities. I highly recommend Alura to anyone in need of assisted living.

I recently visited Alura Assisted Living Facility to begin planning for future family needs and was blown away by the facility. It is beautifully designed and decorated and feels more like a high end resort or luxury condo building rather than an assisted living facility. One of the standout features of Alura is its stunning courtyard, complete with a koi pond and gardening area for residents to enjoy. The social areas are equally impressive, with a movie theater, bars, game rooms, arts and crafts activities, and in-house fitness center with physical therapy services. It's clear that residents have a wide variety of options for staying active and engaged, and I was thrilled to see so many happy and smiling residents socializing during our visit. One of my favorite moments from our visit was seeing a group of men having such a good time playing cards together. The residents were enjoying dinner in the dining room during our visit. The daily specials and deserts that were presented for viewing looked delicious and like five-star cuisine. While we are not needing their facilities and services as of yet, I feel relieved and confident that we have found such a great home for our family member in the future.

Dad has been at Alura for about a year and half and he loves his place. The residents are friendly, the accommodations are very nice and the staff knows him by name. I would recommend Alura to anyone who needs elder care for their family. Recent events have not been kind to Alura but could have happened at anytime at anyplace. Always remember that one bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch. #Alurastrong

My parents have been living here since August 2021 and have needed progressively more care until my mother passed. I have always found that staff thoughtful and dedicated and personable with my whole family. They clearly continue to care for my father's well being. Recently, there was a very public incident that involved two of the staff there, but I feel like the ownership has worked hard to address any lingering issues from this event and make sure it never happens again. We visit multiple times a week so have had the opportunity to see the staff in action.

Wonderful, caring, people working in all areas there! Really beautiful, very clean, very helpful! Needs more mental stimulation, through games, activities, social activities, etc. Very loving care workers! Food is now absolutely delicious! The current chef is the best anywhere, keep him, don't let him go!
