My Dad has been a resident in Memory Care for six months. His care has been very good. Our family members work as a team with the very attentive and caring staff members, in assisting with our Dad. The staff members are very patient and kind. We absolutely adore Danielle Council and Joelle Watkins. They are so very caring and compassionate to our Dad. They make sure his voice is heard and our concerns are always addressed. Big shout out to Kimberly in activities. She keeps things so fun and upbeat always.

First off foremost, Highpoint is a very beautiful facility and it has some great people. I haven’t met everyone. I am just a private caregiver that I am with a particular client and I am wit n Carin fot 12 hours and there’s a lot of stuff that come in and out of that room but there’s only two in that Particular area with me that come in and out the room and they are so nice to me Miss Billie, who is med tech she always offers me something to eat. She always offers me something to drink. She’s always a good character. She always offered to help me with my client She’s very nice. She makes me feel very comfortable in this place cause sometimes I feel like I don’t belong is It’s a hard case to sit 12 hours and nobody offers you anything so I really appreciate Miss Billie because a lot of times I sit for 10 hours and no one will offer anything but Miss Billie comes in on her shift and comes to that particular client patient is resident room first thing she says is high is everybody OK? She greets the resident and she asked me OK do I need anything Takes 10 hours to get that type of treatment from someone staff other than that Highpoint should have meetings with a lot of staff about treating caregivers equally on 12 hour cases 24 hour cases that are restricted to not you can’t leave and then there’s one staff there and she comes in in the daytime and she too is really nice to me and she comes in and she’ll ask me if I want something to eat and her name is VEAYAH it feels really good to have someone out for you a cup of water or actually if you ate knowing that you said 12 hours can’t leave that particular area with no way of getting something to eat so I’m not up for saying high points the best place, but these two individuals make high point comfortable for me thanks, Miss Billie and thanks VEAYAH you guys make High Point comfortable for a lot of caregivers. Excellent! The leader of any organization sets the tone. Joelle, the Executive director, is on point. She is very friendly, attentive and easy to talk to you. She makes you feel like your concerns are valid and not unreasonable. She went through being a caregiver to her own parent, so she walked the walk and knows what it’s like to be a caregiver. Empathy and compassion for the resident and the caregiver are what’s needed in difficult situations, and with that Joelle excels, her leadership sets the example for the rest of the staff. The dining staff were very attentive to my father’s restrictive diet of thickened liquids and mechanical soft diet. Further, my father has hand, tremors and shakes and thus spills his food and the staff accommodated this by helping him get a napkin/bib on before eating. The activities staff is very warm and welcoming. Especially Barbie and Nicole. They did an amazing job whether it was in the pool, playing games or starting a German club, there always seemed something for people to do. The medical staff is very good. With the primary provider, Elizabeth, visiting the facility multiple times a week. It was very easy to get my father down to see his primary care provider. No need to make an appointment a month in advance. I even bumped into Elizabeth in the hallway while she was looking around for her patients and she was attentive. Moreover, the computer system between Highpoint and the primary care provider is seamless. Everybody is literally on the same page of music/ computer screen. The nurses and the nurse assistants are very attentive with laundry, dressing, meds and positivity. The maintenance staff was excellent as well, installing additional hand rails in the bathroom and bedroom. Cleaning staff made suggestions to improve the floor plan of the room and if needed to be cleaned it got done. A few areas for improvement. One, the call button necklace was impossible for my father to activate and a button that works with frail hands could be better. Two, training staff not to wake residents during various tasks would be a big help. These are minor in the big picture. One last shout out to Nat, from Ty’s Homecare, a recommended outside caregiver, for those days I needed extra help. Overall outstanding!

Highpoint @ Stonecrest offers first-class Independent Living facility. The staff work very hard to exceed the expectations of the residents (and their families too). The meals are healthy, delicious and plentiful. There are so many activities, that I know my mother will never be bored. The residents are very friendly and helpful too. The facility offers day trips, shopping trips and bus transport to medical appointments and church. There is a movie theatre, exercise room, hair salon, resort style swimming pool, sky lounge bar, bistro, dining room, weekly house keeping, library and physical therapy room. I can keep track of my mom on their facebook and instagram page. I highly recommend Highpoint @ Stonecrest. They also have memory care and assisted living.

my visit exceeded my expectations, and then some. The place is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the amenities are wonderful, the location is good, and the food offerings are outstanding. I know people who live there, and our extremely happy that they decided on this facility.

Visiting for dinner was a wonderful experience. My husband and I got to see some familiar faces, whom we dearly love; and we even made a few new friends. It's great to know how well cared - for our friends are at Highpoint. The food was delicious, especially the almond cream cake; and the service in the dining hall was pleasant and professional. I really liked watching some of the residents, as the serving staff greeted each one with a smile and a cheerful attitude. Furthermore, they were all very accommodating to any special requests. It is always great to see Lesa M., and a big thank you to Barbie.

Lovely facility with great food but understaffed for assisted living. Absolutely incapable of getting my Mom’s medications correct which was ultimately why she had to leave. An isolated incident I could live with but multiple issues was a sign.

Just moved in a few weeks ago. During the move Brittany went above and beyond helping us with our questions and concerns. Now that we have settled in, this was the right move and we love our new home.

My sister and I recently moved my mother into her first assisted living facility. We had moved my dad into an assisted living facility and two memory care facilities. My mother has said she is very happy at Highpoint at Stonecrest. She said the food is good and everyone there is exceptional and professional. She said the nurses and waiters and waitresses treat her like her kids would and they are always happy to help her with anything she needs. Though my sister handles the medical side, I always saw nurses making sure my mother took the correct medications on time and always with a nice word to encourage her. I spent about a week there and found the administrators and staff to be very helpful and professional. For example, any request made like questions about the phone, laundry, cleaning etc., and setting up the TV and hanging pictures on the wall, was met with a prompt visit and then a resolution. Given I have now worked with three different facilities, I know the value of someone saying they will do something and actually completing it on time. It allows me to spend more time with mom.

My parents were in another facility (wish I could say the name so nobody goes there!) and it was a nightmare and it's still a nightmare for my Dad. We moved them into Highpoint at Stonecrest and it has been wonderful. Esi helped us from the very beginning. We've met all the people that work with Mom and Dad and they are all so kind. This is such a difference between the last place and this place. They love it! The food is great, the help is great, the rooms are awesome - what more could you ask for?!?

What a wonderful, caring and positive environment. Brittney has been amazing from the initial welcome, to move in date. She was there every step of the way to make sure our mom was well taken care of throughout the entire move. The facility is top notch, with an abundance of amenities- all of which mom just loves. The security, atmosphere and the personalized attention the residents receive are all superior. Thank you!
