I want to visit my sister last week, and boy was I surprised! This is such a beautiful facility. Everything was clean, bright, and welcoming. One of the employees that I Met that was so helpful and kind to my sister. Her name was Madyson.. I am extremely pleased with my decision to move into Clarendale Clayton for independent living. My apartment is perfect in size and complete with everything I need to emulate living at home !! The staff is very helpful in making me feel at home and assisting me with any questions I may have. On top of all of that....the food is awesome !! It's like going to a 5 star restaurant and choosing between 4 or 5 options, all of which are delicious. This review is overdue. My brother moved here a few years ago. My sisters and I visit a lot. We often interact with the staff, as well. I think the size of Clarendale is just right. The residents know one another. They know the staff and the staff know the residents. In a way they all become family. Four years ago, we were among the first residents to call this place home ” and what a journey it’s been. Like any new community, there were a few early bumps along the way, but the staff rose to the occasion and the experience since has been nothing short of outstanding. The activities calendar keeps life full and fun, with live shows, movie nights, and even multi-day trips to look forward to. We’ve also got our own bicycle club ” a personal favorite! The facilities are genuinely first-class. If you’re looking for a community that keeps getting better, this is it.

I have only been at Clarendale since oct of last year & in that short of time, I have made so many friends, and have enjoyed several activities. The movies and documentaries are especially my favorite! When I am not watching movies, I love going to the exercise classes to stay active. While there have been a few bumps along the way, they have shown admirable understanding and patience while setting reasonable expectations about the challenges of adjusting and creating new routines.. Overall the staff is very professional and caring in a difficult and often thankless job.

So glad Clarendale crossed our path at this stage in dad's life. We were struggling to find the best care fit for him after his change in health. Their staff are patient and attentive to not only his needs, but also make the transition to the their facility as transparent, seamless and stress-free as possible. From the front desk greeters, to the residency counselor, to the move-in coordinator, and all the memory care staff, they are consistency kind, patient, and caring people, and it shows in the quality of care that they provide for dad. Their memory care staff work patiently and tirelessly to keep dad engaged and active, and make him feel part of a community, which is all we can really ask for.

I can't say enough about the Clarendale. If I could give them 6 stars I would! My 84 year old mother was being released from the hospital after a fall and we needed a safe, welcoming place for her. Having toured the independent living section in 2019, she was already familiar with the Clarendale Clayton. One call to Jen started the wheels rolling. Maddyson came out to the hospital for a physical assessment and within 24 hours we were in contact with Joe to coordinate a move into her new 1 bedroom apartment. My mother was faced with going into a skilled rehab facility, and I would have been lost without this wonderful group of helpful individuals. She moved in yesterday with a red carpet welcome! This morning she was having breakfast with new friends on her own. This is a truly safe, caring and well run assisted living.

I recently moved a dear friend of more than 20 years into Clarendale Clayton, and he couldn’t be happier. The property is absolutely stunning”it truly feels like a luxury hotel. From the very first day, the staff has been nothing short of amazing. The concierge team always greets us with a warm smile, the maintenance staff goes above and beyond to assist with anything needed, and residential services made sure he felt comfortable, settled, and introduced to the many activities available. He’s already been busy making new friends and staying active”so much so that he’s been happily exhausted from all there is to do! The dining experience has also been wonderful. The menu offers great variety, and the wait staff not only provide attentive service but also take the time to remember names and even anticipate regular orders. Clarendale Clayton has truly exceeded our expectations!

I visited Clarendale several times last week while I helped my parents move in. I was immediately struck by the bright, cheerful lobby and exceptionally helpful and kind staff. Everyone we encountered was in a good mood and the facilities were modern and embodied a freshness. My parents were so overwhelmed with the move, but they quickly settled in thanks to the exceptional food in the dining room and the friendliness of the staff and neighbors. I am beyond grateful that my parents have such a wonderful home to enjoy their twilight years amongst peers and friends.

The Clarendale Team is first rate. Meredith Goette and Lynne Sugerman are enthusiastic, genuinely friendly, and transparent to the max. The primary goal at Clarendale is to make current and prospective residents the total focus towards which the management team commits their talent and expertise 24/7 and that seems to be exactly what happens. The building is beautiful; the living space is generous and brand new; and most of all, the location at Clayton and Hanley Roads is convenient for getting anywhere in St. Louis quickly and without a lot of hassle. - Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
