My parents have lived at the Brightmore for a little over 4 years, starting in Independent Living. Mom moved to The Terrace memory care a year ago, but it’s just down the hall and they can see each other whenever they want to visit. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, residents are kept busy and engaged, and we never need to worry about Mom and Dad.

I've lived here for more than 10 years. The vibe here is what makes this residence so outstanding. The atmosphere is one of friendliness and care for each other among residents and especially from staff. I’ve known Julie and Sunny for years, and in this industry, you don’t often meet leadership teams who could probably recite every resident’s name and what’s going on with them on the spot. What’s even more impressive is how much the residents themselves know and appreciate them. I’d give them six stars if I could. What you see here goes beyond healthcare”it’s about genuine care, stability, and joy. I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing community! Not only is the building incredibly clean/ safe, but it also has wonderful amenities such as in-house therapy, hair salon, pool, group fitness classes, and so much more. I moved my mom here a month ago and have been so happy with her care and her caregivers. They truly care about the residents here. It is so well maintained and clean and the workers sincerely care about the health of their residence. Dementia and Alzheimers is a cruel disease and presents uniquely in each person. It has been so incredibly hard to find compassionate and dignified care my loved one. The Terrace at Brightmore of South Charlotte has been an answered prayer for my mom and family. The professionals at Brightmore walk through this difficult time with the families and all of the residents. The communication and professionalism are fantastic, the activities are enriching, the food is so good, the help with bathing and dressing, etc. is suburb and the staff are so patient and kind even at times of peak stress. Staff keep the rooms very clean and the atmosphere is comfy/homey. It's an exceptionally well run assisted living/memory care and I am so thankful for the staff every day. My mom has lived at Brightmore for 6 months and counting.

My mother is a resident at Brightmore. The care at Brightmore is outstanding. The leadership and staff know their residents and take an active interest in their lives. It starts at the top with the expertise and experience of Julie and Sonny. The med techs are exceptional Josie, Venus and Jessica all go above and beyond to insure medicines are distributed accurately and with much love and understanding. I highly recommend Brightmore. They do their very best to care for the residents with much love and patience.

Was a wonderful place for my mother. Her nutrition was improved. Her medications were monitored and adjusted. Several undiagnosed conditions were uncovered. The result of her care was increased physical and mental health. I would recommend this facility and it’s caring staff. Excellent communication.

It is beautiful at the Terraces! The staff is amazing and they take great care of the residents. I work as a Senior Aide for one of the residents and I visit her a few days a week. I honestly think she is aging backwards since she moved there. She loves her tight-knit group of friends and looks forward to all the daily activities, concerts, outings, card games and more. Her apartment is impeccable and gorgeous! They do all her laundry and she enjoys three delicious meals a day and snacks served by super friendly staff they all love, like Nate who keeps them laughing at mealtime. The CNA's have been perfect at managing her meds and her health has markedly improved since she moved in!

All the staff at The Terrace treat my mother with love, from the director, to the med-techs, to the kitchen staff and the maintenance team. They make her smile, they treat her with respect, and they are very careful to make sure that she is getting the care that she needs. Julie, the director and Sunny, the Resident Care Coordinator have been a huge help to me in navigating mom's healthcare issues. It is such a relief to know that she is in a place where she is happy and well cared for!!

The Terrace staff were extremely caring and concerned that our mother was receiving the best care. They made the transition from independent living to assisted living very easy for her. My mother and step dad originally moved into the independent living area of Brightmore of South Charlotte. As time went by, mother needed the services of the memory care unit at The Terrace. I was always pleased with her care there. The Administrator always was up to speed on all issues and needs of my mother. I never had a question of the care givers that they did not know the answer immediately or found the information for me in her chart immediately. The Terrace was clean friendly and they were always on top of the needs of their residents.

My Mother was a Resident at The Terrace of Brightmore of South Charlotte in Assisted Living and Memory Support and she received excellent care. It was like she was living at home in the environment created in the AL/MC community. The Activities were creative and stimulating and the food was excellent. I felt she was in a safe and loving atmosphere. It made my brother and I rest easy at night knowing she was being cared for with love.

During our time with the facility, the staff has been careful to communicate concerns to me quickly, and they have been great at responding to me when I need them or have questions about mom's care.
