My loved one has been living at Legacy Heights Senior Living Community, and I just want to say how grateful I am for the people there. The staff treats them with real kindness ” not the forced smile kind, but the genuine, patient, everyday care that makes a huge difference. The building is clean, comfortable, and feels calm. My loved one has settled in better than I expected, and I can tell they feel safe and looked after. The nurses keeps me in the loop of my aunts care and I never feel like I’m bothering anyone when I have questions or need an update. It’s not easy trusting others with someone you care about, but this team has given us peace of mind. I’m beyond thankful for the staff who show up every day and make the place feel like a family, not just a facility.

My aunt was recently a resident at Legacy Heights Assisted Living /Memory Care facility. This facility provided compassionate care, love and support to her during the time she was there. Thank you to the Directors Chris and Alonda for their leadership and dedication to meeting all the needs of my Aunt. The receptionists Myrtle and Mary were welcoming and kind to visitors and residents. We appreciated the caregivers and all the staff. They all demonstrated patience, care and support during some difficult circumstances. Due to my Aunt’s decline in health, she needs to be moved to a skilled nursing facility. She misses the staff, maintenance guys, medical techs and care givers. Thanks to Sheila, Tempest, Rea, Rahel, Red, Demetris, and all of those who showed love to her. My prayers are with all the caregivers at this facility. Thanks for being a blessing to my aunt. Gail Jarrett

I can't say enough good things about Legacy Heights. I had to find a place for my stepfather when he started to decline at an independent living facility and I was lucky enough to meet with Monica and Chris at Legacy. The staff and administrators are amazing and they truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable and well taken care of. I owe a special thank-you to Tonya. The Memory Care facility and the residents' rooms, are bright and welcoming. Unfortunately, my step-father passed away while he was there, but they managed his care at the end with dignity and love. My only regret is that I didn't know about Legacy when I was looking for a place for my mom a couple of years ago. I highly recommend Legacy Heights if you are looking for a great place for your loved one.

My family and I are very grateful for the staff and facilities at Legacy Heights and we can’t thank them enough. I am so happy we found this place because the whole situation was rough - just due to the nature of placing a family member in assisted care. Everyone has been extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process. The facilities are very nice and clean- they resemble a hotel or bed and breakfast. I don’t hear of any complaints about the food. When we come by to visit, I can smell the food cooking and it smells really good. I would like to and hope to retire here when it’s my turn!

I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to place my Mother in a memory care residence. I visited many memory care facilities in the area and immediately felt at peace after meeting with Monica and Chris and making the decision to move Mother to Legacy Heights. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming and loving to both the residents , as well as to their loved ones.They have been so patient with my Mother as she has been making the transition to her new home and have treated her as if she were their family . There are lots of fun activities for the residents to enjoy and the facility is so bright and cheery and clean. It’s just a great atmosphere , not only to live in, but for friends and family to visit. Mother’s care givers, as well as Chris, the director, have been so communicative with me. I do not worry when I am out of town, as I know that she is in good hands. It saddens me that my sweet Mother has this awful disease of dementia but am so thankful that she can live at Legacy Heights where she is safe, well-cared for, and loved. She and I have been blessed by the Legacy Heights family

Chris and Monica at Legacy heights, were great to work with. The senior living community is beautiful on the inside and the outdoor view is nice. My mother loves her new home and the activities!

We met with Monica, who answered all our questions regarding our needs and concerns. After a delicious onsite lunch we began our tour. Monica was patient & very understanding as we asked to see some apartments a couple of times. This is a smaller community with a homey feel. Extremely clean with a variety of great room choices and a fun activity calendar.

Just toured this community with my mom and I was so impressed! Everything from the cleanliness to the staff was perfect. We have toured a lot of place and this community is definitely my favorite. I would absolutely feel comfortable with leaving my mom here.

The whole concept of a parent being in an assisted living facility is scary. My sister lives locally, and in her description, said Legacy Heights employees were friendly and the facility beautiful. Upon our visits, my husband and I couldn't agree more. It's reassuring to know our parent truly is being treated well.

If I could give them a 10, I would. My mom is 98 and we struggled at the beginning of the pandemic to find a place for her. We tried another place where she was miserable. So we tried again with Legacy Heights. She came in with a lot of care needs. At this point her health and her attitude have improved so much that she needs very little care. She does the exercise classes and that has really brought her back to health. She loves the food and the staff and is making friends. The staff is so responsive and kind to her. Is it perfect? No. But when something doesn’t work, we ask for help and they address it. So different than the other facility she tried. It’s a beautiful facility, freshly painted and carpeted. It doesn’t smell or feel institutional. It has a homey feel with lovely, updated decor. She plays bingo, goes to the theater, church service, happy hour, trivia, flower arranging, painting class, and so much more. Sometimes she’s the only one that shows up and they still indulge her. We had a family dinner there this past Sunday in a private dining area with a courtyard which was so pleasant for those of us from out of town. And while we were there, we had 6 different staff members come in to check on us and introduce themselves to the out of towners. I’m so impressed with the care and it continues to improve since the new administration has mobilized. I wish I could post her before and after photos. The pics are her room before the remodel. We marvel at how much better her quality of life is and she came from a lovely home with private duty nursing. Legacy Heights has been a Godsend.

Legacy Heights is such a great community! Their activities programs and food are top notch. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I also love how the community looks like an actual house, which makes it truly feel like a home!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to place my husband in a memory care center in December 2019. I visited several but once I stepped foot in Legacy Heights, I felt it was a special place. Diana led me through the process and explained everything to me. When I was in tears she comforted me and the care for my husband has been the same. Attention, compassion and respect are a top priority with all the care givers. They care about David and our whole family. I am very happy with his care. They listen to my concerns and do their best to make everything top notch. The facility is clean...David’s grooming and care meets high standards, his room is kept clean, his clothes washed and hung with care and the food is really good. Everyone (all employees in every department go above and beyond)....which I deeply appreciate. I’m thankful to all who care for my sweet husband. Sincerely, Carla Tweel family

My sister and I had the obvious nerves about moving my Mom into a memory care home. My Father had just past away and we were emotional. Diana and her team were amazing!!! This was the first place we looked at but, not the last! We toured a lot of places, just so we had an idea of what was out there. But, we kept finding ourselves talking about Diana and Legacy Heights. We have learned over the past year, that it is about the people and the care that makes it the right place for your loved one. Diana was so honest about her thoughts as it pertained to our Mom, and what was right for her. Her tenure and experience made us feel like we were doing the right thing for Mom. The Legacy Heights staff is so concerned with the welfare of the residents, and makes every effort to address the concerns of resident family members. The management team members are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The caregiving staff makes every effort to make sure residents are comfortable, clean, and respected and that they meet the requests of family members of residents. I can't express all the praise I have for Patricia and all the receptionists, Sheila, Jamie, Grace, Diane, Claudia, and all the kitchen staff, Miquelle and activities staff, and especially the caregivers who have been there for years in Memory Care, whose devotion to residents and families is exceptional. As staff members are added they are monitored carefully by Grace to make sure they have the commitment necessary to give excellent care to residents. There are many new caregivers who do a great job too. The housekeepers and maintenance team work diligently to make sure the facility is clean and in good working order. Diana is always warm and friendly, and so helpful to families searching for just the right residence for their loved ones. Maleah is so kind and excellent in her skills in the beauty shop. Dale Ann is not only available but is in the Memory Care unit often. There are so many employees that make Legacy the excellent facility it is, and I hate I couldn't mention them all by name. I highly recommend this facility.
