My dad recently passed after a year stay in the memory unit. Too many people to thank, but the experience we had was a very positive one. The staff and administration made a very tough year more bare-able. Many of the staff developed a fondness for him and when he passed they expressed that to us which made us realize how he settled in and made home there despite his struggles.

I am a singer/guitarist who specializes in entertaining senior audiences. I have performed at Atria Woodbriar Park and Place many times and am booked there every month in 2026. I will do 140 dates in 2025, which means I have visited many Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities in my travels. Michael Scarpellini and his team are the best. No doubt that he is an award winning Executive Director. I am often in a position to observe how caring the staff are with residents. If you or a loved one are in the process of selecting a next home, you won't go wrong with the Atria campus in Falmouth.

My mother has resided at the Atria since 2014 and she loves the security, emotional support, care and friendship she has found there. The Atria is also kind and supportive towards visiting family members, from Widdy and Lois at the front desk to the dedicated nurses, food service and floor staff. You’re all very much appreciated.

Atria is an exceptional facility. They provided outstanding care for my mother, who had Alzheimer's. I chose this facility primarily due to their 24-hour nursing care. The CNAs demonstrate a genuine commitment to their residents' well-being. All Atria staff members are remarkably compassionate.

Circumstances dictated that my mom wasn't able to move into Atria at this time, but wow, what a reception we had from Branham Foley, asst. director. We communicated from across the country. Branham was immediately responsive (regardless of 3 hour time difference). He gave us video tours of two apartments, the whole facility and sweet video welcomes from residents riding in the elevator. We couldn't have been happier with reception, information, sensitivity, follow up, and incredible support. Thank you Branham. If mom finally moves in, I know she will be happy and cared for with great sensitivity. Thank you! Sue and Steve

We chose Atria for our Mom who needed assisted living after leaving a rehab facility. I don’t think we could have chosen a better place! From the reception desk, to the aids, the nurses - the whole administration, everyone was so kind, compassionate, caring and patient. They went above and beyond to make sure our Mom was always comfortable and cared for. They are extremely communicative and professional at what they do and our family could not recommend Atria more to anyone! Thank you for making us feel comforted knowing how well she was cared for, it made everything seem easier during this emotional and difficult time in our lives. I have toured all of the assisted living/memory care facilities in My town and Atria was the best by far! The facility is immaculate and it has so much to offer from interactive activities to pool spa and housekeeping and laundry. It is also tailored to individual wants/needs. Every there looked happy and well cared for! We took two tours and both Directors were thorough and answered every question we had! The facilities were over price and not up to My standard. From the moment we walked into Atria Woodbriar Park MA, we felt a sense of peace and comfort. Joanne greeted us with genuine warmth, and her attentiveness (as well as all the other Atria staff) has remained consistent. The environment is clean, beautifully maintained, and full of life ” with residents engaging in activities, sharing meals, and enjoying the lovely outdoor spaces. What truly sets Atria Woodbriar Park apart is the way they balance independence with compassionate care. My father-in-law has found a renewed sense of purpose here, making friends and participating in events that brings joy to his days. Atria offered a return welcome fit for a Queen! Recently my friend was hospitalized and away from Atria during her recovery. Upon her return she was greeted at the car and assisted by two aids, welcomed by everyone in the main lobby, transported to her apartment and seated in her recliner. The first smile I saw on her face in two weeks appeared when a beloved dining room steward came down to her room to give her a hug and a heartfelt kiss (and promise of her favorite pizza!) This is a staff of angels and my friend immediately settled in and was comfortably home.

Bored? Lonely? Tired of cooking? Perhaps it’s time you considered moving to Atria Woodbriar Park! I spent 4 months there last year recovering from ankle surgery and when I need surgery on my other ankle this year I returned for another 4 months. The staff is great and took such good care of me. What a gift it was to have the caring and kind people of Atria Park at Mom's side during the last years of her life. We are so grateful for the compassionate care provided by the team at Atria Woodbriar Park. It brought great comfort to our family to know that Mom was in a place where she received top-notch care and was treated with dignity, respect, and warmth. The team’s dedication, patience, and compassion made an incredible difference, not only for Mom but also for those of us who deeply love her. Beyond the exceptional care, we are also grateful for the enriching activities and programs that brought Mom moments of joy and engagement. These activities, particularly the music and entertainment, made a meaningful impact on her quality of life. Our Mom was a resident in the Memory Care Unit at Atria Woodbriar Park for over seven years! During that time we could not have been happier with the care she received. "Dottie" was treated as a member of the family, and was beloved by all who came in contact with her. We are so thankful for the people who took care of her and truly became part of our extended family. We were always welcomed by the staff and made to feel at home, particularly when we visited with Mom in the common area. Any issues that arose during Mom's stay were addressed quickly by either her caregivers or the administrative staff. Losing Dottie this fall was difficult, but we were secure in the knowledge that she was being taken care of (and loved) by people who genuinely enjoy what they do and capably ensured that her time at Atria was filled with smiles and happy days. Thank You to everyone at Atria!

My sister moved in to Atria Woodbriar Park last weekend. The staff was absolutely fantastic - welcoming, attentive and kind. My mother has lived here for a couple of years now, and while things have definitely changed over the past year, I have to say how impressed I am with the caution, care and service Atria has provided to its residents through such a difficult time. Immediately in 2020, they locked down at the first hint of the horrible virus news. As a result, you will probably find no other resident/nursing home that has the outstanding record of keeping the Coronavirus at bay. I live on the opposite side of the country from my mother and it has been a difficult past year since I have been unable to see her. But, I am so thankful for the wonderful care she has received while there at Atria. If I have any issue, I can always contact someone there in person and get help with whatever I need. I am looking forward to visiting soon and expressing my thanks in person the the superb staff who has remained and are like family to many of us. Kudos to Atria!!

I am a private care manager with several patients residing at Atria Woodbriar Park. I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places for senior living that I have been inside. They have a great memory care unit for residents dealing with dementia and Alzheimer’s as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, the building is clean and sanitary, they are very cautious with COVID-19 regulations to keep everyone in their community safe, and there is a lot for the residents to get involved with on a daily basis. Out of the many patients for whom I’ve provided private care in the past, the patients who reside at the Atria Woodbriar Park seem to do extremely well. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone in search of a beautiful and safe home for an elderly loved one.

Safety and care. My wife has been at Atria for the last 17 months. My main concern is safety and care. The COVID-19 virus has raised in major challenge for everyone. Atria Woodbriar park made major changes in early March to keep everyone safe. The early changes in the protocol provided the Safer environment for the residents and staff. My wife receives multiple nurse checks daily with temperature checks. The residence and the staff are tested weekly for the. Virus. My wife has tested negative on every single test. I have also received an 11 page assessment report with my own copy on my wife’s present status. Because of Atria’s early and successful actions. I believe they will continue to make adjustments as the situation changes with keeping everyone safe. In the fall 2019 I was very happy with the activities the pool the ability to visit. I believe they will go back to that standard as soon as it is safe. The caregivers and nurses have done an outstanding during this difficult time. They know the people the care for. Harry

My mom lived at Atria Woodbriar Park for 6 months. Pre-covid, there were varied activities and entertainment daily. Indeed, these have been challenging times - for all of us - but I think it’s fair to say that assisted living communities have been hit particularly hard. Atria Woodbriar Park in Falmouth, MA, has been exemplary in keeping its residents safe and secure (including my mother) due to the tireless efforts of the Atria management and staff. I’d like to give a shout-out to one in particular - Jim Catton. He has been a hero during this entire pandemic and I don’t want it to go unsung. Jim has been in the trenches for months, wearing multiple hats and frankly, I don’t know how the man is still standing. He leads with kindness and compassion and consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty. Jim is unfailingly responsive to our emails and phone messages, answering any questions or concerns we may have, when I’m quite certain he has more urgent things to attend to. In these unprecedented times, you hope for a leader who is effective in their job and unflappable. To be able to dig in and do all that is necessary and more, with care and even a smile, is exceptional. This is who Jim is. Without exception. Many people have found some silver linings within this pandemic. Jim has been one of those for my family and we are so thankful for him and the expertise and kindness he brings in good times and those that are more challenging. How fortunate is Atria Park and its residents to have such a caring and valuable Assistant Executive Director as part of the management team. Daren Marvin

Recently I wrote to Atria Woodbriar management to sing the praises of two employees who have been instrumental in helping my mother acclimate to living in the memory care unit at Atria Woodbriar. Both employees have gone above and beyond multiple times to resolve issues and ensure the best possible care for my mother. My mother moved in before Thanksgiving. It's been difficult for our family, especially my father, because we have not been able to visit in person since she was admitted. I know there are many families in the same situation and the Atria Woodbriar staff has been working hard to facilitate FaceTime calls for so many. One of the staff has been extremely responsive and personally involved in setting up those calls. I can see while talking with my mom, that she has developed a warm friendship with this staff member. It is clear that the staff cares deeply for the residents. The Resident Services Director (RSD) has been extremely professional since day one. I had some difficulty communicating with my mother's primary care physician when my mom was first admitted. The RSD was a very effective intermediary and resolved a meds list issue. We have since moved my mother to another practice and I am very pleased with how well the RSD coordinates care with her, hospital case managers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacy and Atria staff. Her dedication is impressive and greatly appreciated. I am very happy we decided to trust Atria with my mother's care. Maureen Underhill

I have been impressed with the staff at Atria Woodbriar Place and, in particular, I would like to recognize the efforts of Cheryl Lorantos and the nursing staff at Atria, who have been very helpful with my mom's transition from home to Atria for a winter stay. I can't see enough about this campus. The caring attitude of everyone from the front-desk greeter to the restaurant waiter to the nurse and aides, it's all so impressive. When I flew from my home in California to spend a week with my mother (9 days thanks to the blizzard) she'd been living at Woodbriar Place for a month. I was apprehensive about her settling in because she is so independent and shy and stubborn and had been living in the tropics for 37 years. We knew she never ate properly and hoped having three places to choose from for a meal would make it easier to grab a bite when she wanted. First, I wish to acknowledge Melissa Bielinski for truly engaging life with her diverse and interesting programs and for integrating the community with the residents. And to compliment Donna Sickler for holding Town Meetings, understanding what it takes to be a great leader. But this review is dedicated to THE FOOD, and everything associated with it, because Mother is eating. She hustled me out the door the morning I arrived, not to miss breakfast. Mother likes the cafe. "It's the only place that serves HOT coffee," she whispered one afternoon. But no wonder: Joann Filkins, "mother hen" of the cafe also keeps hot cereal for my late-arriving Mother and it is so appreciated. She never asked, Joann just made sure it was always there for her. Joann is a sharp, tender-spirited, smiling woman, who knows each of her peeps' names and preferences. But then, so does the entire Dining Room Staff: Shout out to Michelle, (whom Mother says winds that clock to make it run perfectly), Heidi, Marion, Lindsey who, at residents' requests, arranges for us to meet her sweet 3 yr. old son and the Sous Chef!, and others whose names I apologize for not remembering. Even THE CHEF comes out to chat about local produce and sea food, visiting random tables. So in my 9 days I gained a solid 4 lbs trying to encourage my mother to eat. We split Lava Cake, Lavendar Creme Brul©e and Bread Pudding. Not to mention the roasted chicken and those mashed potatoes and scallops and perfect asparagus and outstanding fish and chips. I walked my dog around the Woodbridge Campus at least 3 times a day. No matter where I was in the facility, I observed people who love their work and who work hard. Interaction with residents always attentive, upbeat, humor-filled, patient, respectful. Residents are comfortable going about their lives, or engaging because the beautiful, dignified atmosphere seems to neutralize shyness and encourage conversation. The complete experience was magnificent, every staff member sincere and attentive including Housekeeping and Maintenance. They all care. Mother fits perfectly into her new apartment and we all feel safe with her being there. This detail-dependent campus runs like a fine timepiece. Can't separate the minute hand from the numerals.

Having my dad at the Atria Woodbriar has been a positive experience. The staff, the other residence and of course the apartment’s and facility are wonderful. The building is run professionally and it gives me peace of mind to have my dad there. One person in particular I would like to thank is Ellen Dolan at the front desk. The staff in general is great but Ellen and her positive energy really stands out for me, having her at the front entrance is great for everyone. Ellen is pleasant, has the answer or finds out the answers to all your questions no matter how detailed, not to mention she keeps you laughing! It makes me feel so much better knowing my dad is by such nice people like Ellen.

Having visited this facility many times, I find myself enchanted with the Staff (many of whom I've known for years) and the facility itself. Residents (again, many of whom I know) are very comfortable and very pleased that they decided upon Atria Woodbriar

Marie Baker is the Mommy anyone would want to have caring for them. She is thoughtful and precise, while gently urging residents to do what they can do. She might even hum a lullaby in the evening.
